Ramon had finished buying the 1 sack rice and the groceries, he was already in the municipality of Cavite City on his way to Thelma's house to deliver the goods.
He finally arrived on his destination but he saw that the door was closed and it was padlocked from the outside. His brows furrowed in puzzlement, where are they?
He asked the woman who is currently busy cleaning the space in front of her house.
"Good afternoon, Ma'am, I just want to ask where are the people in this house?"
The lady paused sweeping the ground and pointed her hands on the next corner. "Thelma and her kids already transferred to Grace house, go over there and ask anyone, somebody will tell you which is Grace's house. It's the 7th house in the right corner."
"Okay. Thank you, Ma'am," said Ramon. He sauntered back to the car to reached Grace's house. He keeps driving until he saw the two-story house in the corner. He saw Thelma watering the plants on the front yard. He stopped the car.
Thelma saw the car stopping by near her and see John's bodyguard getting out of the front seat. "It's you again!" she exclaimed.
"Hello Ma'am, my name is Ramon, am here to deliver Sir Johns' gifts to your family."
Thelma raised her eyebrow when she saw Ramon open the trunk of the car and lifted the one sack of rice on his shoulder and carry it inside the house without permission.
"Ramon, you don't have to do it! Tell John he doesn't need to give us groceries!" said Thelma.
Ramon ignored Thelma, he went back to the car and took out shopping bags and bring them all to the house.
Thelma released a deep sigh.
"I'm done delivering the groceries, Ma'am."
The older woman scratched her head. "Why John is doing this?" she asked bewildered. All that her daughter told her was that they had broken up. So, why John still doing this?
Ramon faced the older woman.
"Because he loves your daughter so much. This is his way of showing to Catherine that even if she canceled their wedding and run away, she will always be loved by him and she can always come back to him anytime. Besides, he already considers Catherine's family as his family," explained Ramon.
"Catherine told me that they already had broken up," said Thelma.
"No Ma'am. They didn't have formal break up, my Boss didn't stop loving your daughter. Your daughter just disappeared leaving him without saying goodbye without explaining the reason why she runs away."
Thelma dunno what to believe anymore, was Catherine telling the truth or was just lying?
"So they never break up?" asked Thelma again.
"Yes. Maybe they had some sort of misunderstanding but my Boss is willing to settle their differences as long she returns back to him. Please tell your daughter to contact my Boss as early as possible. He is waiting for her call every minute every second..."
"Okay. Tell John thank you very much for the gifts," said Thelma.
"Yes, I will. I have to go now, Ma'am." Ramon turn around and walked back to the vehicle to go back to Makati City.
Thelma saw the car disappeared in the corner. She went inside the house and starts checking out the groceries.
Grace happened to come down from the stairs and saw the shopping bags in the living room.
"What's that---Auntie?" she went closer and inspected the items. She saw one sack of rice and lots of groceries in the shopping bag such as powdered milk, coffee, juice, noodles, dairy, biscuits, sliced bread, hot dog, pork and chicken meat and a lot more. "My God! Why we suddenly have lots of groceries here inside the house? Does it fall from the sky?" asked Grace.
"It's delivered by Ramon, one of John's bodyguard. He said it's a gift from John," answered Thelma.
Aww, poor John! said Grace to herself. Until now she has no idea why Catherine suddenly left John and canceled the wedding. She was actually waiting for her younger cousin to open up to her but until now Catherine keeps her mouth shut. She sighed. Maybe John can bring light to all her question and confusion.
She will call John later for some clarification and also thank him for his generosity.

Ramon was back in the Jade Tower. He went straight to his employer's office. When he entered the office, he saw John intently watching a slideshow of photos on his laptop, it's Catherine's face that was in the slideshow. He felt heartfelt pity for his Boss.
John tore his eyes away from the slideshow and acknowledged his bodyguard's presence in the room.
"How is it?" he asked.
"It's done, Boss. The sack of rice and groceries were delivered to Grace's house."
John was puzzled. "Why in Grace's house?"
"Thelma and her children were no longer renting a house they were currently living with Grace in her house."
"Good. It's easy to watch them if they are under one house." John was pleased with the news.
"Anything else, Boss?" asked Ramon waiting for further instruction.
"I will call you later if am already out of my office. We might take a drive around Quezon City, hoping we can spot Catherine somewhere walking in the street," he said feeling optimistic.
"Okay, Boss, I will go out now," said Ramon and exited the office.
John shifted his attention back to his laptop and continue gazing at Catherine's smiling face. He feels a little bit better watching all her photos pretending that she was still around him that she's still in his life.
What she's doing right now?
Is she thinking of him?
Did she still love him?
When he will ever see her again? All he ever wanted is to take care of her, love her, spend the rest of his life with her. Why she is running away from him? Isn't his love enough for the two of them? Why she runs away is it because of his ugly face? He released a deep sigh truly frustrated that all his question doesn't have an answer.
