When John woke up the next day, it was already 8:00 AM. He didn't leave his bed right away, in fact, he wants to linger longer in the comfort of his bed. He got this wide smile on his face. He saw Catherine again last night and he swore to himself he fell in love again with her, no, he loves her even more!
He can't wait to see her again!
He sleeps late last night, imagining her smile, he was smitten over and over again by her beauty and charm. His love and obsession for her were getting stronger day by day.
This time around he will make sure Catherine can never escape away from him again. He shuts his eyes and dream of her again wide awake. Unfortunately, the sun was already high up in the sky, he will continue dreaming of her in his office.
He rose to his feet and starts his day with a broad smile tugging on his lips, the remembrance of their time spent alone in the laundry shop and the smiles they shared towards each other simply makes his day more alive. Although, she treated him as one of the customers, when it comes to him it's entirely different. When she sat down near him in the chair yesterday in the laundry shop, he almost reaches out for her hand, almost touch her! good thing she stood up right away or else he might already blow up his disguise! That was so damn close!
Well, enough of reminiscing...
He arises from the bed and sauntered towards the table in the corner, he picked up his laptop and brought it with him back into the bed. He powered on the laptop and began checking his emails. Then he opened the architectural drawings of the Hacienda Catherine from his files. A few months from now the construction of the foundation of the 5-story hotel building is about to begin and of course, the basement will be the first to be constructed. He will make sure the basement is fully equipped with all the important amenities for a good living condition because it will be his own personal dwelling every time he will visit the Hacienda.
Done checking his emails, he put the laptop back into the table and went inside the bathroom to take a bath.
After he has gotten out from the bathroom he checked his phone, he got a text message from Romeo, informing him that he already found the perfect venue for his blind date with lady#1. He grimaced, it looks like Romeo is the one excited not him. To be honest, he wasn't looking forward to meeting those ladies! He has no plan to talk to them for the whole three hours, maybe he will just lengthen it a bit to one full hour so that it won't be awkward and unfair on the girl's side.
He released a deep sigh. He will make Romeo pay for it one day!
He went to the kitchen to eat his breakfast then proceed to work in his office.

Two hours later, he stood up and did some stretching inside his office.
Romeo burst inside the room grinning.
"Bro, I already found the perfect venue for your date tomorrow!" said Romeo.
"Don't call it a date!" John scolded him.
Romeo grinned the more, amused by the scowl he saw on his buddy's face.
"For your information, you force me into this meet up with the girls, I'm just meeting them, am not having a date with them!" corrected John.
Romeo shook his head. "Still can't get over with the memory of your runaway bride, huh?" he asked.
John sighed and shuts his eyes for a brief second. "You already know the answer to your question...," he replied wryly.
Romeo shook his head again, his buddy was really hopelessly and foolishly in love with Catherine. It would be really super hard for any woman to enter his heart or even snatch a tiny bit of his attention. Hopefully, out of the ten women he lined up for John to meet, one of them will catch his fancy, then they would date frequently and hopefully, it can one day blossom into a solid love affair so that John can finally learn to forget everything about Catherine.
Romeo scratched his head. "Hmmm, I almost forgot what I came here for. Here's the address of the Cafe Shop, the establishment's name is Serenity Cafe, it's just a thirty minutes drive from here and it's a bit secluded place, not overcrowded so you and the girls can share private moments together." He was about to put the piece of paper on John's table...
"Give it to Ramon," said John, he was trying to tell Romeo that he was not interested.
Romeo got it, he put back the piece of paper in his trousers pocket. "Okay, I will give it to Ramon. By the way, I just want to remind you that you should already be at the place by 6:00 PM tomorrow. Please don't be late, don't let the girl wait, okay? Her name is Irene...I will text you her cell number. Please add it to your phone book! Just in case you wanted to meet her again in the near future."
John just gives his buddy a nod and resumed his work signaling Romeo to get out of the room.
Romeo left the office sighing.
John runs his fingers over his hair. He was not really in the mood to meet some random stranger tomorrow! If it's Catherine then he will be super excited to see her, but that girl is not Catherine! He was feeling pissed all of a sudden! This is the feeling you get when you are forced to do something you don't want to do!
He feels like he wants to strangle Romeo at this point in time. He exhales and inhales air into his lungs trying to calm his nerves.
Well, the blind date has already been set tomorrow, there is nothing he can do about it, he will just walk into the cafe, smiled at the girl and exchanged some pleasantries and then talk a little about all topics under the sun then go home! That's it!
