The other divine beasts on the floor both looked relieved and scared after seeing this.
Relieved because they will not be sacrificed anymore, but also scared because of that big-ass pigeon that was still battering against the formation barriers.
"Koo koo koo!" Ramsay ignored the scary noises of the pigeon as he turned off the flames under the cauldron.
The blood orb that he placed inside the cauldron had fully melted, producing a thick, red concoction that oozed with essence.
The faces of the divine beasts were flushed as they felt the efficacy of the concoction.
Old Man who saw all this shook his head, thinking that using all this blood essence to summon someone was a big waste.
"That blood can be used to make elixirs or bloodline talismans you dolt!" Old Man cursed to the oblivious Ramsay.
"If not for my soul power currently weak now, I could have just taken you down for the blasphemy you were doing against cultivation research!"
"Calm down Old Man, aren't you always weak? So just shut up there and watch." Illusion Fang Lin crossly replied.
"….." This shut Old Man up, for he could not say anything back in retaliation.
"I do not like what is happening now." Illusion Fang Lin muttered as he looked at Ramsay lifting the glowing cauldron.
"That damn pigeon ruined everything!"
Illusion Fang Lin's plan was actually will only work if he will be placed inside the cauldron. Since he was a sacrifice, there was no doubt that it will happen.
Illusion Fang Lin had prepared for snags in the plan, like Chi Xing's attempts to stop the sacrifice.
Illusion Fang Lin at that time was lucky since Ramsay had a spare divine beast that replaced Chi Xing.
Illusion Fang Lin was already prepared to do his stuff once he was placed in the cauldron.
But then this space pigeon arrived, changing the chain of events dramatically.

"Here I come!" Ramsay laughed as he poured the 'soup' of the cauldron towards the silver mirror.
"Hong!" The emptied contents of the cauldron were fully absorbed by the mirror, not even sparing just one drop.
The mirror then started glowing, as the beast symbols engraved on its sides started to turn red-hot.
Illusion Fang Lin felt his body stirring as the bloodline on his body began to hum in resonation to the mirror. The other divine beasts felt it too, as they seemed to gain a little strength under the exposure of the mirror.
Ramsay ignored these miniscule changes as his whole focus was only on the mirror itself.
The mirror started to pulse, as if it was a beating heart. The essence provided by Ramsay became the mirror's fuels, serving to increase the pulse rate of the mirror.
"Dug dug dug!" Moments later and the pulsing of the mirror reached its peak, as the mirror began to visibly shake, making even the jubilant Ramsay worried.
He cursed a little as he thought to himself,
"Did I put too much essence?"
Illusion Fang Lin grinned, hoping that maybe the mirror has a limit on the amount of essence that it could get, and that Ramsay exceeded that by putting too much essence from the blood of the space pigeon.
"Come on just break! That way, I will have no more worries!" Illusion Fang Lin was not worried that the space pigeon will eat him, since he was just an illusion. There will be no problem if he dies.
Of course if that really happens, Illusion Fang Lin will figure out a way to save the other divine beasts with him from the pigeon.
As for Chi Xing….. she could have another contingency for her current situation. She could take care of herself.
But Illusion Fang Lin's musings were cut off when he saw the mirror stabilizing from its harried movements earlier.
"There, there! The relieved Ramsay laughed as guarded the mirror.
But then his face changed when he heard shattering sounds.
"Damn! That f**king pigeon is really strong!" Ramsay thought as he saw a kingdom-sized hole at the formation barrier.
The pigeon was able to fit its head through that hole, allowing its head to approach the Palace.
The pigeon opened its serrated beak wide as it said,
"Time to eat!"
"Boom!"
It was at that moment though that the mirror did its job.
A white beam of light shot out of the mirror, heading straight towards the sky.
This beam of light continued traversing upward until it was a kilometer above the mirror.
At that point, the end of the light beam exploded, creating a hole in the space around it.
Moments later, this hole stabilized, turning into something that Illusion Fang Lin was extremely familiar with.
This hole looked like the wormhole that Wang Hao could make!
The only difference was that this wormhole was slightly flickering, compared to Wang Hao's perfectly stable one.
"So the goal of that mirror was to create a wormhole connecting this planet with the Beast God Planet huh." Old Man murmured as he immediately saw through the mirror's functions.
"But from the looks of it, that wormhole was not stable compared to Wang Hao's." Illusion Fang Lin replied back mentally.
"From what I can see, that wormhole will collapse if one Fifth Stage Practitioner passes through it. But that's already enough. The Beast God Planet just have to send one here anyway. There was no need for them to send more."
Right after Illusion Fang Lin said that, they heard a voice coming out from the unstable wormhole.
"So you really did use that mirror. Hahaha! It seems like you really need my help! Then I, Asnyan, will now come to save your asses!"
A figure then shot out of the wormhole, heading straight towards the mirror that created the wormhole.
Right after the figure went pass through it, the wormhole shattered as it disappeared entirely. This confirmed Illusion Fang Lin's guess about the wormhole's stability.
With the wormhole gone, the newly arrive figure had no way to come back for now.
He then watched as the figure slowly approached them.
Illusion Fang Lin could not help but narrow his eyes as he saw the appearance of the envoy.
The envoy wore hooded robes, so Illusion Fang Lin could not see its appearance.
But he could make out come feminine curves under the robes, indicating that the envoy could be a woman.
Aside from that, he could also see cat ears showing out of the hood that the envoy wore.
The cat ears were twitching slightly, indicating the excitement of the envoy at her arrival.
The space pigeon, who was about to eat Illusion Fang Lin and co, saw the cat-eared envoy.
The bird then trembled as it changed its target to the envoy!
