“The Jotunn or as others call them, the fire giants?” Wang Hao snickered inwardly as he thought that Old Man was joking. “Are you sure these lava beings are the fire giants?”
“Of course I am!” Old man shot back angrily as if he could not fathom why Wang Hao was not believing him. “I know a lot of things, and I know that these lava beings are the Jotunn!”
Wang Hao gave Old Man a levelled stare as he said, “If that was really the case, then why are the Jotunn here? Why would they leave the protection of Muspelheim and Yggdrasil? It doesn’t make any sense!”

Old Man was not able to say anything about that, as he knew that Wang Hao’s argument was right. Just like what Wang Hao recalled earlier when he met Shou Nanren, Yggdrasil was the largest tree in the whole Universe, and it supports 9 galaxies on its body. Muspelheim was one of these galaxies.
The Jotunn were the native beings in Muspelheim, and the other galaxies also had their own native beings.
Because of the sheer size and unique power of the Yggdrasil, there was nobody who dares to attack Yggdrasil and its 9 Galaxies. After all, Yggdrasil was a plant lifeform with power comparable to a Ninth Stage Practitioner!
Nobody would be stupid enough to attack such place. Because of this, all the beings that lived inside the Yggdrasil prospered.
Since they are all safe inside Yggdrasil, the native beings in Yggdrasil did not dare to leave Yggdrasil, as they all decided to stay there to be safe. On one hand this is good, as these native beings stifled their ambitions to conquer nearby galaxies. All their power and might stayed within the confines of Yggdrasil. But this decision was also problematic, because it forced the 9 Galaxies all staying in Yggdrasil to be at odds with each other!
Nine different galaxies with different beings stuck in one large tree were bound to have many disagreements . Time passed by, and these disagreements turned into feuds and then into small-scale wars.
These small-scale wars became so pervasive that in the end, all the 9 Galaxies declared war with each other!
This war was referred to by everyone outside the Yggdrasil as ‘Ragnarok’, as many considered that this war will spell the end of the prosperity of the 9 Galaxies inside Yggdrasil.
At the end of ‘Ragnarok’, many native beings in Yggdrasil will fall, and many villainous practitioners will be born.
And whoever survives the ‘Ragnarok’ shall herald the new generation of practitioners in Yggdrasil.
Because of the protection of Yggdrasil, nobody from the Universe except those inside Yggdrasil knew the state of the war.
Any attempts to probe information will be blocked by Yggdrasil, making it impossible for the outside parties to observe the war. Thus, they can only wait until ‘Ragnarok’ ends to see its results.
Wang Hao let out a sigh as he rubbed his chin. “Even if the Jotunn and its galaxy Muspelheim were defeated in ‘Ragnarok’, I doubt that its survivors will choose to leave the Yggdrasil and go to this planet. It just seems implausible! Why would they leave the protection of Yggdrasil to go to a far-away place like this? It doesn’t make any sense!”
“But I am sure that these lava beings are the Jotunn!” Old Man hissed once more as he made himself look imposing. “I have seen some of them before, so I am sure of their appearance!”
“You have seen some of them before?” Wang Hao narrowed his eyes as he gave a suspicious glance at Old Man.
“It was almost impossible for outsiders to enter Yggdrasil and see the native beings living in it. You said that you saw some members of the Jotunn before? Don’t tell me…”

“Fine.” Wang Hao shook the mental image in his head as he stopped his inquiries. “I will not ask how you saw some of the Jotunn before. I will also believe what you said about these lava beings.”
“Hehehe…” Old Man rubbed his nose, as if he just forgot that Wang Hao was close to questioning his origin earlier. “So you can also be persuaded this easily. You could just have believed me earlier.”

Wang Hao let out a snort after hearing this. He gazed at the blood-red surroundings as he asked Old Man, “So do you think everything that Tian Yi told us was real? I think he omitted some of the truth.”
“Of course Tian Yi will not tell you about the whole truth!” Old Man replied angrily. “Even if he really received an augury that you will help Tian Yi on getting that weapon, who knows what the requirements are to get the weapon?”
“That’s what I was also thinking about earlier.” Wang Hao murmured as he cast a discreet glance at Tian Yi. “The only thing that I can do now is to be alert and grab any chances that I can!”
“Wait, don’t tell me you want that ‘powerful weapon’ for yourself?”
Old Man shook his head as he realized that Wang Hao seems to be getting way over his head. “Can you sense how strong this Tian Yi is? If I did not meet Fang Lin, I could have taken this Tian Yi as my disciple! And now, you want to con him? Good luck!”
“Well, I think I can con him.” Wang Hao replied as he remembered the way that Tian Yi looked at him earlier. Tian Yi might treat Wang Hao as a friend, but deep down, Wang Hao could see that Tian Yi was not worried about Wang Hao at all!
In short, Tian Yi was not thinking that Wang Hao was not a threat! “I reckon that the reason Tian Yi was comfortable with bringing me here at the Central Divine Plane was that even if I try to do anything funny, Tian Yi’s power will allow him to deal with me.” Wang Hao muttered as he cast a strange look at Tian Yi.
“After all, what can a guy like me who won with just tricks and unknown abilities do against the strongest expert in Planet Thrae? Tian Yi obviously thinks that the answer to that is none.”
“Ah whatever, just make sure you don’t commit any f**k-ups. I still want to see my disciple after all…” Old Man reminded Wang Hao exasperatedly. “Don’t worry Old Man. Even if I fuck up right now, I will still make sure you will see your disciple. I just do not know if you will still be in one piece after that. ” “…”
After some more minutes of travelling, Wang Hao finally saw it. He saw a sprawling city made up of countless rocky structures, located at the center of the Central Divine Plane.
These structures were made up of earth, and just like everything else around, these structures were also red in color.
One thing that that must be noted was that these structures were gigantic and monstrous in size.
Just the smallest of the structures were around 20 meters tall. As for the largest one? It was around 5 kilometers tall, and it was located at the center of the city. “That large structures that you see are the houses of the lava beings.” Tian Yi said to Wang Hao as he pointed at these behemoth objects.
“The lava beings that you saw coming out of the volcano earlier, they were the weakest of the weak here, indicated by their size. Since they were weak, they were forcefully expelled by the stronger beings here in the Central Divine Plane.”
Tian Yi’s face let out a mocking grin as he continued talking.
“Since the resources here in the Central Divine Plane were limited, the lava beings could not afford to support everyone here, so they just force the weakest ones out of the Central Divine Plane. That way, only the strongest remain here in the Central Divine Plane.”
“Well at least they know how to conserve resources properly.” Wang Hao quipped, much to Tian Yi’s displeasure.
Tian Yi just let out a sigh before returning his attention to the city. He pointed to the 5-kilometer tall structure at the center of the city as he said, “That structure right there is where the current strongest of the lava beings reside. The strength of the lava beings are determined by size, so that lava being’s height of around 4 kilometers really tells you that he’s real strong.”
Wang Hao let out a whistle after hearing that. “He really is one big fella.”
“Just like what I told you earlier, I can only fight that lava being to a draw. I am fine with that. But what spoils my mood was the fact that he chooses to fight me even before I could even approach the border of his city!”
Right on cue, Wang Hao heard a roar originating from the center of the city.

It was an unintelligible roar, but even Wang Hao could understand the primal rage hidden within it.
Rumbling sounds could be heard as a titanic being appeared. This titanic creature was 4 kilometers in height, matching Tian Yi’s description. Its appearance could be compared to a golem, but instead of rocks, its body was made up of flaming rocks, magma and lava.
The heat generated by this being was so great that Wang Hao was inwardly praising this being’s heat production.
“I take it that that one is the strongest here?” Wang Hao asked as he visibly backed up. Of course Wang Hao was not scared of the Titanic Lava Being, he just wanted to make Tian Yi look down on Wang Hao more.
It seemed to have succeeded, as Tian Yi’s smile was laced with ridicule after seeing Wang Hao backing up. Tian Yi straightened his body as he said, “Sir Wang Hao, please listen to what I am going to say. Since the strongest lava being will be occupied with me, you will have the freedom to enter the city!”
“Oh, so you want me to enter the city while you distract the boss monster?” Wang Hao replied as he saw that the Titanic Lava Being was quickly approaching them.
“Yes.” Tian Yi replied quickly as his aura began to rise. “Since the Grand Elder prophesized that you will be a great help in procuring the weapon, I think you entering the city will be for the best.”
“Wow, what a logic. If I was Tian Yi’s professor, I will give him an F already.” Wang Hao thought viciously as he gave a nod to Tian Yi “Ok. Let’s do that arrangement. After all, I think I would not be able to survive even just a punch by your opponent.” Wang Hao’s body shimmered as he blasted towards the city, with Tian Yi watching with narrowed eyes.
“He agreed surprisingly quick…..” Tian Yi then shook his head, as he does not care if Wang Hao will do something suspicious or not.
“Even if he does something, my absolute power will render all his plans useless!” A flash of light then covered the whole city as Tian Yi resumed his 78th match with the Titanic Lava Being!
