Chapter 15 The Millennium Engagement
"It was you who brought Ying here?" Since HanYing was still humming and complaining, MoYunye felt the need to ask Qianhua about this unexpected ghost guest.
Qianhua nodded honestly but then tried to explain in an innocent tone, “Yes, but I was forced. Ghost King and his dear sister kidnapped me to their realm, so I had no choice!”
MoYunye frowned slightly and looked back at the speechless ghost sister. He shook his head and smiled bitterly, "These two brother and sister are still so capricious like two teenagers. Was the old Ghost King still alive, he certainly would take his realm back from these two kids."
"We haven’t abused our dominion to the Ghost realm! My brother ruled it well; the Ghost realm now has been greatly developed. And if we can unite with the Heavenly realm by marriage, then it will surely have a much brighter future!" HanYing poured out her grievances for the first half speech and then acted in pettish to the king for the second half.
MoYunye tended to ignore her words and turned back to Qianhua, "When the banquet is over, could you please get your godfather here to talk to me?"
Qianhua obediently agreed. She had no idea what he would talk about with her godfather, but she was in a hurry to get the cranky HanYing out of there. When Qianhua went back to the party hall, she passed the words to Eastern Star God.

"Where… Where did you meet Heavenly King?!” Eastern Star God was tipsy at the feast, but instantly got sobered up after hearing Qianhua’s message.
"In a deserted garden, before a covered stone statue." Qianhua answered.
"Have you ever seen the stone statue?" Eastern Star God started to calm down, as if their encounter was meant to happen like fate.
"No, but dad..." Qianhua thought for a long time before deciding to be frank with her godfather, "I accidentally lost the plum blossom. So the king saw my original appearance. I don’t know why, but he seemed to be shocked deeply."
"Was he the only one who had seen you?"
"Well... Yes." Qianhua tightly held the ghost spike in her arms and didn’t mention anything about HanYing.
Qianhua watched her godfather leave the banquet and started to hang out with the other gods and fairies. She took a few drinks and quickly filled up her empty stomach before Eastern Star God returned from his meet-up with the king.

It was almost daybreak, and the main hall started to get quiet. The sun raised up gradually eastwards and dyed the spacious hall woefully red. The sun also shined on the expressionless face of Eastern Star God when he stepped inside.
"Dad, you come back so soon?" It was true that Qianhua had been there for nearly a whole night. But she was still not ready to leave the fairyland and return to Eastern Mountain.
Eastern Star God replied slowly, "Heavenly King wants you to stay here to cultivate for a few more days. It’s really upon you that whether you can successfully end up to be an immortal of the Heavenly."
Qianhua was surprised. She figured that having a god relative must have done her a huge favor. She was such a fortunate spirit to meet Eastern Star God.
"Dad, what did you say about me to the king? I can’t believe you made Heavenly King take special care of a little spirit like me! As the god for sunrise and sunset, you deserve to be one of the most prestigious gods." Qianhua said excitedly.
"It was all Heavenly King’s idea. Dad didn’t really suggest anything…"
