Sushani noticed Hari's sudden disappearance and enquired about his whereabouts. Anil just shrugged his shoulders in response.

'God knows what he's up to?' Anil mentally exclaimed while to the stage.

"Ladies and Gentlemen!!! Welcome to Kyro Auction House I'm Anil Rathore the Organiser of the Auction..."

Later he went on to the stage and gave a simple presentation for a couple of minutes.

"Let's start our auction with pleasant Music…"

The moment he uttered the word music the hall was filled with huge deafening shouts and screams, everyone had a huge smile on their faces.

"Got the message guys; I'm on my way out, crowd please put your hands together to welcome KipRip Band."

Before the mass could react the lights were put out and the very next instant three identical women stood in the stage center; the middle one had a mic while the two women to her either sides were having a veena and Tabla.

The crowd immediately quietened down; these people were like wild animals meeting their master. There wasn't any intro or useless speech, the trio just started their song.

"manasā satatam smaraṇīyam

vacasā satatam vadanīyam...…

.... sthitā gahvare

tatra mayā sancaraṇīyam

lokahitam mama karaṇīyam."

The entire crowd was mesmerized, none of them moved as much as their eyelashes.

It was a Sanskrit song, an ancient language on the verge of extinction. In all likelihood, most of the people in the hall wouldn't have understood the lyrics.

This's exactly the magic of music, trio but their voice and music were enough to completely get lost into the melody.

Before the crowd could recover the lights were once again put off and the trio vanished like an illusion fading away. Anil went up the stage, he just silently stood there with a smirk waiting for them to recover.

The dumbfounded blank faces meant they had given mouth-gaping opening ceremony. A fabulous beginning any businessman would dream for his start-up.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm Honoured to introduce our auctioneer, Sir Jalal Hafez."

And a man in his late forties walking in from the backstage.

"We are very obliged to such a Famed master to preside over our auction and without further ado let's start with the long-awaited auction."

Anil kept his speech as short as possible. Jalal was a thorough professional, he didn't have as much as a small smile; he just stood there with an expressionless cold face, almost like a statue.

Once Anil vacated with the podium, Jalal stepped forward with a hand mic and a piece of paper.

"Good evening everyone…"

And he took the entire hall under his control. Generally, women dominate this trade, they can confuse and distract people with their charm and had different tricks up their sleeves, though it's a bit crude to put it that way.

People like Jalal are a rare breed of men, who dominate the hall with just his presence and perspicacious vision.

Within an hour, all the items were auctioned at their maximum value. Of the five VIPs, three purchased an item each.

Shreya bought the Black Rudra seed while the Hyder brothers picked an ancient sword and pottery.

Anil came to the stage with a huge smile and relaxed face as though a huge stone was lifted from his shoulders.

"Guys thank you all for being cooperative and as a token of appreciation we have invited the Moon Clairvoyant Saint – 'The Fortune Teller'."

"We'll have a lottery to select the lucky five individuals who can have one session with Moon Divining Saint, but it going to be on-stage, so you've got the right to turn down the offer."

Then Anil clapped his hands and immediately two hostesses in red attire carried a huge transparent pot filled white balls.

Anil unceremoniously put his hands in and picked five balls from the pot and read out the numbers written in the chits.

Moon Clairvoyant Saint – 'The Fortune Teller' had a very huge following, though none of the people in the Hall had for knowledge about his arrival everyone was eager to win the lucky draw. Some even started praying while others had their eyes wide open.

"268"

"32"

"113"

"94"

"1"

As he read out the numbers, one by one people stood up; some waved their hands while others sent flying kisses.

Only one woman stood without much of any celebrations, the was Shreya.

"I'm not interested in Horoscope or Astrology. Please use my chance to redraw some other person."

Shreya nonchalantly rejected and continued to play with Shemo on the lap.

Anil never expected such a response, still, he didn't dare to refuse her request even if her dog has things a lot more difficult for him. Nevertheless, he couldn't offend this big lady; so he kept a straight face.

"Yes, ma'am"

Anil politely obliged and put his hand once again inside the glass pot to pull out another number.

"12"

Once again the lights were killed, but this time it took a few minutes before they were switched on.

A fuzzy black-robed figure appeared on the stage; no one could tell if the one standing on the stage was a man or woman.

Everything from head to toe was covered, the hoods were on and face was hidden by the silver mask while huge Black Robe hid the rest of the body.

All five selected people stood under the stage.

"No. 268"

The Moon Clairvoyant Saint called out in a shrill voice, it was just too unbearable. But the more pressing issue was people could identify the gender of the figure on the stage.

The Saint was none other than Sushani; only her voice box was equipped enough to make such an ear-piercing sound.

Sushani looked at each of their faces for a second, then she once again looked at the first person and said.

"The crocodile prevails in its own flow of water wide,

If this it leaves, 'tis slain by anything beside."

Next, pointing at the women beside him.

"All earth looks up to heaven whence raindrops fall;

All subjects look to the king that rules by justice."

"When food there is none for the ear,

spare a little for the belly."

"Under an unjust ruler,

Being wealthy is worse than being poor."

Quickly Sushani gave each of them a Tirukkral (Indian Couplets) and stopped at the last person. The man was a bit special, he's one of the 5 big fishes; Harry Deol.

"Your Spears are sharp and sparkling,

While the foe's spears are rusted and dented."

Then Sushani just walked away without even waiting for the lights to go off. Anil rushed on to the stage with a mic in his hands; while the five people were absentmindedly standing below the stage.

"We have arranged a complimentary sweet for everyone; prepared Master-chef Rakesh."

And with that Anil retired from the stage while the hostesses distributed sweets to all the guests. Tasting Master Chef's foods were once in a lifetime opportunity; even though it was just one sweet people were more delighted to have a piece.

Even people with high diabetics couldn't resist the aroma; Rakesh had given the perfect finishing for their auction.
