"When you're faced with a conundrum that seems impossible, try to look at it from a different perspective and perhaps that way, the solution might just reveal itself. That is the end of the second lesson."

A crowd of confused faces including Sean's faced Arthur. They were baffled by what Arthur said. How was anything that he just said related to the match?

"Does anyone know what is he talking about?"

"How come he sounds like he is giving advice to himself rather than to Sean?"

"He said the lesson was in art but how is art even related to the combat?"

"But he did use a creative way of molding his voice earlier to take down Sean's wind attack. Perhaps this is something similar and we're just too dull to understand what Arthur is trying to say?"

"I wish the man would stop talking in riddles."

"But if he spells it out, his tactic will be read by his opponent."

Arthur kept his gaze on his opponent. There was a frown on Sean's face that suggested he too was clueless about what Arthur had said.

This was not the man's fault, one needed to have Arthur's experience to understand what he was trying to say. This was a lesson he observed when he was inside the painting, 'Snow'. Back then, he needed to blast himself into the sky and adopt a change in perspective to see the seal that was superimposed on the ground.

But how was that going to translate into a match with Sean...

Arthur smiled and he told Sean, "Don't say I'm trying to bully you because I will give you some time to process the meaning of the lessons. So that you will not be so flustered when the lesson hit you right in the face later."

Sean's first reaction was to scoff but after what happened earlier, he was a lot more cautious.

Arthur began the attack with a shot of vocal materialization. This time, his voice appeared in the shape of a spear and it charged right at Sean.

Sean planted his feet into the ground and gathered the wind barrier around him.

The spear shot right at the barrier and as Arthur screamed, it slowly made its way forward through the barrier.

Sean sweated and his body moved involuntarily backwards away from the spear even though the wind barrier was still holding up. The wind howled in everyone's ears and eventually, the wind blasted the spear right off. The spear had made its way further in compared to Frankie's daggers but it was still quite a distance away from reaching the man that was enveloped inside the barrier.

Confidence that faded from the man's face earlier started to return after Arthur's attack failed. The frown on his face relaxed and the condescending smirk returned.

Before the man even said anything, his friends from behind him already piped up.

"The man talks a big game but he still cannot get through Brother Sean's [Wind Barrier]!"

"Haven't I already told you he was just bluffing?!"

"All talk and no game, we should have known!"

Sean shared the same sentiment and he felt like kicking himself for feeling so unnecessarily threatened earlier. However, when he raised his head and saw the same disarming smile on Arthur's face, he could not help but have his confidence shaken. 'Is this not all? The boy still has more tricks in his arsenal?'

"Time's up. I hope you're ready for the real lesson to begin." was all Arthur said before he opened his lips to launch another round of vocal materialization.

Sean prepared himself but weirdly enough there was no sound that escaped from Arthur's lips. He thought he was being played when he heard the young man's voice coming from the ground underneath his feet.

For all his arrogance, Sean had the brain to back it up. Seconds after he heard Arthur's voice, he knew what the young man was up to.

He quickly undid the wind barrier around him and channeled it at the ground beneath him. Sean just brushed past death because if he had reacted one second later, he would have been impaled by the large spear that shot up from the ground.

Arthur used [Voice Throwing] to move his voice to the ground where Sean was stepping on. He coupled it with vocal materialization to create a spear that pushed upwards. If Sean did not shield himself at the right moment, the man would have a spear made from voice running through him.

Even though his sneak attack had failed, Arthur did not let up. If anything, he increased his voice and the force that was blocked by the wind shield slowly pushed Sean upwards.

Sean was lifted off the ground as he focused the power of the wind to block the thrusting spear.

Someone in the crowd said, "So this is what Arthur meant. Sean relies too much on the impenetrability of his wind barrier but like what Arthur has warned. There is no absolutes. Since he is unable to break through the barrier from the front, then he opted to change the perspective to find a solution.

"After all, Sean's feet was joined to the ground. That is a spot where the wind barrier will not cover."

"That's brilliant."

Arthur's friends were impressed by the lucidity in the young man's thought.

However, the same could not be said for the other party.

"That does not change the fact that our Brother Sean saw the cheap trick coming."

"He managed to change the direction of his wind barrier to shield himself from the dirty ambush."

"If we are really splitting hair, this is all the boy's own fault for spelling out his plan for Brother Sean to dissect. Pride shall be his downfall."

"Indeed, there is no way the man's attack is going to get through Brother Sean's wind barrier..."

They seemed to have more things to say but a pall of silence fell over this particular camp of supporters for Sean when they saw what was happening in the arena. A few of them shouted, "Brother Sean, be careful. Behind you!"
