10 years has passed by quickly. After he had decided to go with All Might and Gran Torino, he went to say his good byes. Like he had though the children ran away but the sister still wished him well and told him to visit in the future.
Having told Gran Torino and All Might how his "quirks" are currently, All Might decided that he should train with Gran Torino as it would allow Rei to control his quirk. While they where on the way to Gran Torino's house, they dropped by the agency to register his quirk. They had a quick discussion as decided that his main quirk shall be Unlimited Blade Works. Of course this didn't stop them from working on his other quirks.
In addition to this, with his new function he had seen what level All Might and Gran Torino were and honestly he was shocked.

According to Eve a average adult is around level 25 with their quirks, but all might is almost ten times stronger in his prime! After seeing that he knew he had to get stronger quickly considering to solve his family problems by estimate he had to be at least 150 in level considering Endeaver is the 2nd pro hero.
Having known this he pushed Gran Torino to help him get stronger. His work out for the next ten years which he set him self, as the plot starts then, consist of trying to regulate the temperature of his fire and manipulating it in a external form. And for his ice he had to try spread out a frost aura into a domain and freeze things with out touching it. Finally, for his Unlimited Blade Works he has to multitask by creating the blades on the move while fighting Gran Torino. He had also tried to use the reality marble but failed to keep it up long enough for practical use thus his training began with him producing blade completely while he did his fire and ice training.
"Present time "
Two people could be seen sparring in a private training centre. Streaks of yellow and black collided every so often.
"Oi brat! How much longer can you keep up? HAHAHAHA!" An aged laughter could be heard echoing.
"Only getting started Sora J-I C-H-A-N!(gramps)" A second voice retorted.
"Stupid brat! How many times have I told you to not call me gramps. I'VE STILL GOT YEARS AHEAD OF ME DON'T JINX IT!"
It was Gran Torino and Rei. Today was the last day for their 10 year training. Rei had never managed to beat Gran Torino ever but he was getting closer each time. Seeing how the last day was coming Rei had thought up of a few tricks to try beat him. Taking inspiration of the Ice Domain and the shield ability Rho Aias he had managed to combine the two to make a cage like structure.
"I am the bone of my sword"
Rei chanted while using it to spread out his Ice domain.
"Oh, wanting to end it already. I swear you brats are always so impatient. Well lets kick it up a notch then."
Seeing this Rei knew he had to corner him first. "FIRE DEMON'S FLAMING BARRICADE" Using another defensive ability, he tried to cut off Gran Torino's escape by using area of effects.
"Ice is my body and fire is my blood"
Immediately realising that the chant Rei had used so many times has changed Gran Torino Quickly put his guard up.
"I have frozen over a thousand worlds"
Hearing the tyrannical words Gran Torino knew he still underestimated it when he tried to overestimate.
Feeling that he had gathered enough energy Rei didn't continue his chant. It was his trump card even though its unfinished.
"FROZEN AIAS"
A cage of ice sprang up around Gran Torino as he quickly tried to jump through the gaps in the cage until he was rebounded by a seven petal flower coloured in a cold blue energy. Looking around he could see the gaps being filled up as the flowers release frozen mist that plummeted the temperature. Gran Torino's breath slowed as he was about to pass out from the cold until cage shattered and Rei was seen panting while he warmed up Gran Torino with a small controlled flame in his palm.
"Heh stupid brats learned some new tricks eh? Haha Rei-chan's learning."
"More than you known Ji-chan."
"pft HAHAHA!" They both laughed while they took a shot at each other. Calming down Gran Torino said, "I'll miss you you know?"
"Getting sentimental old man?"
"Let me have this stupid brat. Toshinori's waiting for you near your old place. You're getting an apartment to live in while you go to UA."
"Yeah I know. Look after your self old man."
"Whatever now go."
After warming Gran Torino up Rei walked to his backpack before exiting the training facility when he suddenly heard Gran Torino shout towards him
"WHAT'S YOUR NAME?!?!"
"Eh?" Confused Rei looked at him.
"I said what's your name?" Gran Torino said with a smile. Understanding what's going on Rei straightened him self out before looking at him with conviction.
"Rei! I am Rei!"
"And remember it. Don't forget you are you! Not a demon, villain or monster. You are Rei. And I am proud of you."
Nodding heavily Rei turned towards the train station with tears in the corner of his eyes.
[You alright Rei?]
"Yeah i'm fine Eve thanks for asking."
[Well it's my responsibility no?]
"hahaha indeed. Shall we go say hi to Midoria while he gets his power?"
[Yes when you arrive All Might should have seen Midoria's selfless act in trying to save Bakugou.]
