The festival should start tomorrow morning.

Currently, we are staying at middle-class inn 'Cristina's Wish'.

Before I even woke up, mother seems to went out somewhere without me noticing. If she didn't ditch me, I could have gone too!

*hmph!*

My real reason for my sulking?

"I'm boooored" stretching on the bed, I wanted to do something. There's no fun being locked in a room.

Since we entered the city, I had to be in my human form. Not only I'm more used to my dragon form, but this form is still really weak. Well, weak in terms of dragon standards...

Looking through the window, I watched the lively passerby chatting about the incoming festival.

"Okay, I'm going for a stroll" as I said that, I jumped off the bed.

I'm not sure when mother will come back, so I should leave at least a note. I took a pen and started writing.

'Mom, I got bored so I went out. I will come back before sunset. Love you!

- Tama <3'

"That should do it" I said that as I cleaned the whole writing setup. With satisfied expression and a smile, I left the room.

- Meanwhile at the Hunter's Guild -

"I would like to register my daughter as a Hunter" as the silver haired girl said that, everyones eyes widened in shock.

The girl was nobody else, but the famous S rank Hunter "Silver Death" Alice Silver.

Hunter was a job most suited for those, who wanted to search for treasures, rare herbs, protect merchants, subjugate monsters or earn quick money. They were often employed with the knights to do the dirty work of monster slaying.

Because of the danger, the guild made a system based on skill, achievements and reputation. The higher the rank, the more people would recognize you.

From the weakest F rank Hunters who were a bit stronger than normal villagers up to S rank of heroes and monsters, the difference was evident.

The girl in front of the counter was one of the more famous S rank members of the guild. Despite working for almost 30 years, her beauty hasn't faded. Some people even said that she wasn't even a human, because nobody so beautiful would be that strong.

There were also rumors that she died 4 years ago, when she suddenly went missing. But the rumor was false, as the girl herself was standing right before the stunned receptionist asking for form to register. The reason for her stunned state wasn't magic or the fact that 'Silver Death' suddenly showed up, but the one word that girl said.

"D-daughter..." the receptionist couldn't move an inch. One of the strongest S rank Hunter has a daughter!?

The surrounding people also whispered things like 'Isn't that the Silver Death?', 'She has a daughter!?' or 'I envy the guy that got her'.

Today was the day, when several hopes were totally crushed, burned and burried.

Not only was she beautiful, but her skill in swordmanship was the real deal.

"Ehm...Can I have the form?" Alice asked the receptionist, bringing her back to reality.

"Ah...yes Ms. Silver, my apologies" the receptionist handed a single form to her and bowed to apologize for the wait.

"Hm...Good" Alice smiled as she started filling the form.

'Name: Tamara Silver

Race: Human

Age: 10

*Guardian: Alice Silver - rank S

Aptitude: Wind '

Seeing the Silver Death smiling was such a rare sight, that almost everyone started staring at her.

"This should be it, I will bring her for the skill measurement test after the festival" Alice said as she handed over the filled form.

"Is there anything else?" she directed her smile towards the nervous receptionist.

"Regarding the registration, no" the receptionist nervously smiled before continuing "But the Guild Master wants to see you Ms. Silver"

With a little displeased expression, Alice let out a sigh.

"Fine, but I left Tama alone so he should make it quick" she started walking towards the room while being guided by another female receptionist.

As Alice walked in front of a big door, the receptionist knocked a few times before a man's voice replied.

"Come in"
