As I was strolling through the capital of Fleania Empire, what came into my view was a certain place with interesting things. The market.
Bursting with lively merchants, people from all around the Empire and now eveb with a disguised dragon girl, it can be considered the heart of the city.
"There sure is a lot of stuff" I mumbled while looking through pendants at a certain stall.
I started to compare them with pendants on the island. Well, only in my mind since pendants on the island are made for our dragon forms.
As I was looking at blue fang one, what caught my eye was small one made of silver, that was shaped like a dragon.
"This would be perfect gift for mother" full of smiles, I took 20 bronze coins out of pocket and bought it.
As I started to walk towards the main street, I felt a pressence following me.
I wasn't sure what they wanted, but I could feel their ill intent.
Walking past several stalls, they kept following me while also keeping a distance. It's time for my plan *fufufu*
A quiet laugh escaped my mouth.
While turning around the corner, I went into a black alleyway. Five, maybe ten seconds passed when three adults followed suit.
Even though they got startled by me just standing there, they readied their weapons.
"Girly, give us the pouch full of money and we won't hurt you" saying that, the thug in the middle smirked.
"So this is how it's going to be..." since I didn't need any confirmation about their intentions, I sprinted towards them.
Still startled, they didn't react in time before the chin of the thug in middle got kicked. I sent him flying 2 meters backwards.
"Boss!" before they even realized, I punched the second thug into the stomach, from which he bend over and lost consciousness.
The last thug, while still holding a small knife started to tremble as he backed away from me.
As I was thinking about the situation, our eyes met. Fear could be seen in his eyes.
It's not like I'm some kind of monster you know! Wait, I am...
"M-M-Monster!" Yup, he said it...
"Wasn't it you three that tried to rob me?" as I started to walk towards the last guy, his back hit the wall behind him.
Before I could do anything, he fainted.
"Huh..." while looking at the fainted thug, I shrugged my shoulders and started walking out of the alleyway.
What was left in the alleyway, were three unconscious thugs laying on the ground.
I just hope they won't catch cold.
After just few minutes, I found a golden colored signboard 'Cristina's Wish' and walked in. This was the inn we were staying at. As I approached the reception, a red-haired girl behind it saw me and stood up.
"Ah, if isn't it Tama!" she bend over to hug me.
What's with the people trying to hug me!?
"You are sooo cute!" I got hugged. Again...
"Ehm... Miss Mari, can I have the key from our room?" I said so, as I tried to separate from her.
"Miss? Didn't I tell you to call me Sis!?" she ouffed her cheeks.
Another sister joined my list of acquaintances. It's not that I could help it...
"Mi-, I mean sis Mari, can I have the key?" I put an akward smile on my face before I asked.
"For you, anything!" while still being a little enthusiastic, she handed over the secondary key that I left there before I left the inn.
"Thank you sis~" I said so, as she handed it over. Turning around, I started walking towards the stairs. Our room was on the second floor. It wasn't a big one, but it had everything you could expect from middle-class inn.
Before I even got to the stairs, I heard Mari's voice shouting "Don't forget to come over and play with your sis!" before she sat back to her seat behind the reception.
Goosebumps ran through my skin. Next time, I will need to leave without being seen by her!
As I opened the door to our room, I saw my mother just sitting on the bed, waiting for me. She had her angry expression on.
I guess, I should have waited for her?
While I was regretting my own decision, I got yelled at by my mother. Eveb though I a dragon, she got really worried.
