"Hey look it woke up. Hello, little buddy" James stretch his hand trying to touch its head. It blinks its eyes and seeing that as a stranger hand approaching she slither to my other shoulder dodging the hand. She observes everything like a baby in a foreign world. She seems scared of everything but she treats me like a safe haven and seems to be okay with my presence. I stretch my right hand to her and she coils around it like a bracelet.
"Hey hey, do you get any special ability like you can talk to it like in some fantasy novel? Can you give it a command like go attack James or something?" Alice is a fan of a fantasy novel and she read it every day. In most of the fantasy novel when you tame a pet you instantly get an ability as you can talk to it. Or it automatically assumes you as your master and become obedient. I understand why she's so excited but not even 1-minutes pass and I burst her bubble of imagination
"It's not like what you think it is Alice. It's real life and not a novel well maybe there's a skill that you can learn that can help you with that but this is not one. I don't think she understood if I told her to attack James. And I feel like she thinks of me more like her house rather than her master"
"You can't command her? It's a female? How do you know it was a female? And what is the purpose of you getting that skill? Did she have an ability or something that can help you?" James asked
"It says here in her status screen that she's a female. I think the problem lied in comprehension thing that the manual mentioned. look at my status and her status here."

"When I first summon her it was still 0% and after I interact with her a bit her affinity with me go up along with my comprehension of the skill. I guess to comprehends this puppet skill is I have to raise my affinity with her."
"But how do you raise your affinities with her? Do you just feed her or something like that? What did she eat? Does she have a favorite food?"

"That's a good idea let me think a name for her. Hmmmmmmm. Do you guys have any good names for pet snake? Should I call I sneeky? or snek?"
"WOW YOU HAVE VERY GOOD NAMING SENSE, ALBERT," said James sarcastically
"Oh whatever I have terrible naming sense, SUE ME! Alice picks a good name then you usually come up with a creative one. And for all the holly above I'm not naming her Boop Noodle or Danger Noodle, Kana"
I stare at Kana knowing that she would suggest an even worse name that I already had.
"Hey!!! that's rude I have better naming sense than that!" Kana puff her cheeks as if she's been wronged.
"Soooooooooo, Slippery Ramen???" James asked her holding his laugh
"Uuuuugh you guys are the worst."
"How about lucy or luna? She's so white and beautiful I think it would fit her?"
"Oh, Luna I like that one. I guess that would be her name then. From now on you'll be called Luna. Ok, little buddy?" I said while petting the little snake. I swear that I can see a flash of blue from her red eyes for a second there but it turns blood red in a blink of an eye. She approaches my hand again as if she hasn't had enough of the patting.

I see in my status that I got 25 affinities out of it and a bit more comprehension. After that little event James's took me and Alice to our home. I play with the snake all the way home petting it and letting it slither all around my body up and down. When she slither through my lap I can feel her weight on it.
She seems to enjoy resting her head on my shoulder so I just let her do that to raise more affinity I guess.
'Why do I feel her weight when she's on my lap? Aren't I suppose to be paralyzed'
I said in my mind while pinching my tight
'Ouch!!! I can feel it! I can feel my legs! Okay, calm down first don't gets your hopes up. It's not confirmed that you can walk again! Calm down, you've done all kind of experiment before too. If you get your hopes up and it fails your family is the one that will suffer the most. Calm down' I struggle not to shout when I found out that I can feel my leg again.'
'Maybe it's a side effect of the experiment? But my dizziness is already gone and the principal said there's no side effect other than the power that you get. Not that I'm protesting if I can walk again'

I try to feel and move my leg all the way from Kana's to my house without getting caught by anyone especially Alice. I discover that I can feel all my leg from tights to toe but I can't move them at all except my toe. Well being able to wiggle my toe is already very exciting news for a boy that has been floating 10 years long. The only reasons he can keep it all down is because he's been in many experiments that promise it can heal him but they all failed it. And every time the experiment fails he can see her mother sadden face while trying to cheer him up. He struggle
