Mom and Alice are washing the dishes while I continue my discussions with Dad. He reminded me again about people who would take advantages in the new world. He presumes that there got to be some military member of some country that slips in inside this project. And not only that some kids of rich and influentials people are basically guaranteed to be there because without them all of the experiment wouldn't be possible. Almost all the country in the world is participating in this project but that doesn't mean that some of them don't have advantages compared to the others. Some country that has more population like China, America, India, and Indonesia are at severe disadvantages as they having a hard time to make sure all their people can get into the game as soon as possible.
Lucky to us our school was among the top of this country so they prioritize us to be the first into the game. My dad also said there would be an influx of transfer students and teachers that would be coming to my schools. After he thought that he already gave me enough information that I need, I turn to ask him some of the questions that have been holding me back for a while.
"Dad, do you know about rare skill and very rare skill? What is the difference between normal skill and rare skill?"
"There's almost no difference between them is just as the name suggests rare skill are harder to get than normal skills so we have very little information about them. My colleague thinks people that get rare skill as they starting skill are unlucky compared to those who get normal skills. Cause we can't help you raise your comprehension if we don't have enough data and you can't level up if you don't have enough comprehension of your skill."
"What do you mean we can't level up if we don't have enough comprehension? Didn't we only need some exp like in those RPG games?"
"True, you only need exp to level up but if you don't have enough comprehension it would become a bottleneck at a certain point. You need at least one skill at 15% comprehension to level up to level up to level 5. Oh, how do you know about rare skills? Do you get one?"
"Yeah, so I am at some disadvantages because I pick a rare skill?"

"Because you said that you guys don't have enough data to help me raises my comprehension and I also told Alice to pick a very rare skill. So I screw up, I guess."I said dejectedly
"Well each people have different opinions and just because they are right it doesn't mean you're wrong. There are a lot of roads that lead to Rome, Albert. For me, people that have rare skills are at advantageous positions cause they can discover how to use the skills itself to suit them. And not stuck into the way that is developed by other people. While it's true it would help you increase the comprehension faster there's also a chance that you didn't have the compatibility with their way and ended up stuck without a way of increasing your comprehension even further."
"You said you have a rare skill and help Alice pick a very rare one? What are the skills that you guys have?" His face glows excitedly asking about mine and Alice's skills.
"Well for me I get instrument mastery skill and puppet skill and from the puppet skill, I got Luna here," I said patting the sleeping snake on my shoulder.
"Oh, a puppet skill, If it was you it has the potential to be a very strong one I suggest put some time to develop that puppet skill."
"What do you mean by if it was me it can be a very strong skill? And you said before something about soul pet? Why do you think that Luna is a soul pet? And what is soul pet?"
"I thought she was a soul pet because I never thought that you have a rare puppet skill. A soul pet is a beast that bound to your soul and you can summon them to help you in various situations. Normally you can only bound a young beast which has not develop so many characters so when someone put their time to help their pet to evolve would have a strong companion."
"But what I have is a puppet and not a pet? Do you know something about puppet skill?"
"Yep lucky for you that you're not the first one who has that skills so although a little we still have some data about it. There is only 2 distinct difference between a pet and puppet and one of them is their lineage. Every pet has at least 1 bloodline while puppet possesses none of those. And because of their bloodline, they would always evolve according to it. For example, if you have a cat as your soul pet no matter how many times you evolve it, it would never change into a T-rex. It could still possible for it to become a lion as they have a similar bloodline."
"According to that puppet can evolve into anything as they do not possess any bloodline whatsoever? Then if I have let say a puppet mouse does it mean it can evolve into a dragon? Isn't this just a straight up cheat?"
"Although a lion seems weaker than a T-rex in that world there's even a mouse who can kill a dragon so you don't have to worry about them having a weak bloodline. In that world, the fact that they can survive until today is an undeniable proof of their bloodline. You're right that puppet has an advantage as they can evolve into many things but it doesn't mean that pet is considerably weaker as you would have an easier time raising their comprehension. It's not hard to have you cat soul pet develop some of the lion characters that would help them evolve into one. However, if you try to help that snake of yours to become one...... well good luck with that."
"It's not impossible but I have to consider if it would be helpful and is it going to take too much time as we already have some deadline. Got it." I said positively as I nod
"1 thing to consider, if one day you wake up and turn into a fish although fish is a natural swimmer you'll still have to adapt to your new body so I suggest not to make a drastic change when you evolve Luna, Although what drastic and what not are kinda blur at this point just take a note of it."
