"Well, a monk is a weird character is most of RPG games. Monk is famous because of they body toughness and their kung fu that they show in a lot of Chinese movies. But in reality, they are more known because of their meditation and reading sutra. Because of that, most game developers classified them as a strong front liner which can self-sustain them self with their own buff."
"Because the lack of support they can give to their teammate they classified more like a front liner due to their self-sustain. Like a paladin, although he can be a good support most games classified them as a tank due to their capability to take a hit."My dad explains the concept behind a monk class.
"Well, it still has some support skill right? And with my extra skill slot maybe I can be a better support compare to other monks, right? But I already pick the skills, should I change it? I mean I usually play support when I play with you guys, right?" Alice turns to me asking for a confirmation.
"Yep, a support who often choose to rush into enemy line to use her one and only offensive skill, and ended up dying, "I said teasing her while chuckling
"Hey, I do that because you said it efficiency was everything. And what better efficiency than to let all your skill on cooldown while you regaining your MP."
"Which part of dying in the front line is efficiency?"
"It's because you and James never cover for me and only cover for Kana."
"Explain to me on how can you cover someone who literally stood in front of you instead of your back. We never have to cover for Kana because she's really good at positioning her self."
"I don't know, you're supposed to be the genius right, figure it out yourself. Hmph...." Alice puffs her cheeks.
She always gets angry when I point her shortcoming in gaming skill. I guess it's because she wants to play together with us but due to her lacks of skills and awareness she always ended up in worse possible situations.
We always told her that it was okay and but lately she chooses to just watch us play and not joining the game. I guess she hated being the one who always needs a help from her childhood until now.
"Okay, okay, Albert stop teasing your sister. Look at her cheeks you can almost bake a loaf of bread if you put it in the oven."My dad jump on the bandwagon and tease her even further

"Okay, okay, We're sorry. We still have things to talk do not go yet." My father said prevents her for going out from the table.
"Well I suppose you're right you can act as a support if you change all of your skills into a supportive one. I mean this is not a game and even the skills that you can learn are base on your capability and compatibility with the skills and not based on your class, so it's a possibility.
"But the downside is although it's possible to reset your skill there are consequences. First, you can't assign any skill to the said skill slots for at least 1 weeks as we need to be careful not to damage your brain. And due to linked skills, you can't remove only 1 of them and have to remove all of them at once. And the fact that it was linked it would only make it harder for you to remove it. it would maybe take around 1 month to finish resetting it before you can choose other skills."
"I would not suggest for you to do it. Whenever there's a new MMORPG release the 1st month is always the most important month for people who want to be good at the game. Her being skilless would put her in so much disadvantage. And can she even level up if she doesn't have any skill? As you said before about a bottleneck and a correlation between skill comprehension and level."
"And even if she can level up without a skill how can she compete with others who have skills?" I asked a bit panicky. I mean I was the one who suggests Alice pick that skills. And there's a possibility because of my mistake this would cost her a lot.
"Calm down I'm not finished speaking yet. I also think that she should not reset her skills as we don't have a guarantee she can learn better skills. I mean with her being level 1 I doubt that she would have many options in what to choose. Also when you reset a skill the possibility of you learning the said skill again later would be lower and it would make it harder for you to comprehends it. As this is a very rare skill I suggest that she should keep it."
I then remember her stats being very balance and how she doesn't have very much choice on what to learns. I mean even if she has the option to learn a supportive skill she does necessarily have the stats requirements for the said skills.
My dad pat my sister's head and continue to give her more advice
"It's really not a bad thing for you to have that skills. It's just the image of you fighting in a front line that scared the thought out of me. If I look at you from a normal person perspective I have to says you have the necessary agility and reflex to learn some martial arts. And the chance someone having three skill slot and 3 linked rare skills at level one is almost impossible. Maybe it was your destiny to have that skills as your starting skills. You just have to learn how to use your skills to fit you better and be careful not to hurt yourself inside the game. Although a little you can still feel the pain that you received inside the game."
