As soon as Mr. Carlos said those word some people start moving to weapons and the simulation machine while only a small group are still standing on the spot. 1 by 1 People is raising their hand to ask Mr. Carlos questions about weapons or the evolver project in general.
After answering 3 streak questions about the general stuff around evolver project he raises his hand and told someone who about to ask him a question to stop
"You already have a chance to read some of the general stuff in the library. It's your fault if you did not use your time to look for it before. From now I would only answer questions about weapons choosing or fighting style."
Some of the students in that small group are gone leaving only about 20 people including the 6 of us in that small group. Right away one student raising his hand and resuming the Q&A sessions.
Student A: "Are we allowed to bring the weapon back with us to train on our home?"
"Yes, you can bring this back but you have to file a request from the school"
Student B: "What if I want to refit my weapon, for example, the length or the weight of it?"
"Same as above you have to file a request"
Student B: "What about the material can it be changed?"
"File a request and it would be either be rejected or accepted!"
I figure that Mr. Carlos is an impatient man but he still tries his best to help us through all of this. There's only 2 little group left in our small Q&A group. One is my group with James, Alice, Kana, and Anna and the other are a group of transfer students.
From the way they stand and the stoic face that they gave us, I think they have a military background. Not that I mind, I mean the military serve us all in time of need, right?
"Can I bring a personal weapon to this training?" Ask the student from that group
"Yes, you only need to fill a form in your comlink"
After that group of transfer students left we are the only group left. Refuse to wait for any longer Alice start asking questions.
"What if I can't use a weapon and don't have any weapon mastery skills?"
"That means you're free to choose anything but the risk are higher as you don't have any basis. I bet everyone here is also beginner who can't also use a weapon so you can learn from the scratch."
Alice furrows his eyebrow as that is not the answer she was expecting. The instructor saw the wrinkles on her forehead gave her an advice in return.
"Still confused about what weapon to choose? I suggest picking a sword as that is the most common one and is very flexible in terms of development."
"No, no, no, it's not like that. How do I put it in words? I can't use a weapon. Bro, help me explain it."

"I don't know why you can say that her skill falls into body manipulation category nor do I want to know. But if what you said is right then asking Mr. Hubert for an advice is the right way. Mr. Hubert fighting style is very specific though so I don't recommend you to follow it.
"He fights using his body manipulation skill to manipulate his sturdiness so he can take hit while his team finishes the enemy. I can't imagine a team where they let a little girl like her take a hit while everyone stands back and attacking the enemy. Well if you want to you and your sister can opt-out from this lesson" He said while looking at my condition
"She can learn basic combat while wearing arm guard as it counts as an armor and not a weapon. Plus it would help her defend from weapon so she can fend her self better. Something like that as it could be helpful for her later if you want to. And she can spar with me later so I can help her" Anna chid a proposal
"That's a good idea and as for me, I will be just fine. I have instrument mastery as my weapon mastery so I can just pick one and train with others who have ranged weapon. I presume you divide us into a melee and range depends on the weapon." I look at Mr. Carlos and he nodded agreeing on both proposal.
"I have a shield mastery but I don't have a second weapon mastery. And I also don't think I would choose any weapon to be on my main hand as my class is a necromancer. Should I go with the melee or range group?"
"If you ask me for my honest opinion I suggest you go to melee group. There's a lot of mage class that can fight in close combat as sometimes they don't have the luxury to cast from the back. And shield mastery is kinda useless for someone standing on the backline. But really you can try both if you want and decided later what suits you better."
"If you restrict yourself too much it can really backfire against you. The best way to become strong in the new world is to develop a path that suit you best and don't limit yourself with the logic. Although to develop deep into a single path would beneficial it doesn't mean it would suit your style."
"You can ask Anna right over there as there is a mage from her batch that can literally shot fire from his fist when he put enough momentum into it."
(It was like fire bender from avatar. They all have some degree of close combat)
