I try to control my mana again following Anna's advice. I try to control my mana so it can go to my finger and release it to my surrounding from it. After a couple tries, I successfully release from 3 of my fingers at the same time.
'It's harder to control it as I added more finger, would it be better if I focus on the more bigger surface like my hands? or focus more on my finger?' My brain analyzes it with all the knowledge I have until now.
I play the zither using mostly my finger so focusing on it make more sense. But, focusing on my hands would be easier at the cost of my mana. As wider surface require me to use more mana.
Times pass by fast and soon it was already 3 hours since we start Ms. Layla lesson. Although I successfully did control my mana same thing couldn't be said for most of the students.
Alice and Kana are still in front of the classroom with the students who I guessed failed to cast a spell until the end.
"Okay, 3 hours is up it's time for you guys to go to Mr. Hubert lesson. For those who still can't cast a spell don't be discouraged as things are different for each skill. Some are harder and some are easier to comprehends but even the same skills can have different difficulty due to your individual traits."
"So don't give up too fast and just do your things up to your own pace." Ms. Layla said encouraging the students who didn't get to cast anything.
"As for you who did successfully cast a spell. Although congratulations are in order don't be too cocky and continue to strive."
After the speech Ms. Layla let us go to the gym building to attend Mr. Hubert lesson. On our way there I see Kana and Alice keeping their head down disappointed by their result. Anna tries to cheer them up along the way while I converse with James.
"So, how does it feel?" I ask James
"What does what feel?"James smirking to me pretending he doesn't know what I'm talking about
"Don't get too cocky you bastard. Just tell me already"I punch James on his arm
"Hey, that hurt! I know you just envy cause you don't get any skill to cast but you have Luna let me have my fun." He pointed at Luna and grumbling because I punch him but still tell me in the end
"Well, it was a fun experience I have to say. We've been playing games together since we're still on daycare and today I got to experience to summon stuff like I was in the game." James said excitedly
"Soooo, do you have any advice for those who fail?" I ask while I pointed at Kana and Alice
"Who knows maybe it would help them to hear your experience on how to do it," I added
Alice and Kana turn their head and stare at James hoping they can get something good.
"Hmm, how do I say this? I just did it as Ms. Layla instruction, create the rune and move my mana trough my hands into the rune. If you want some advice I guess tread carefully as I oversupply my rune couples of times and every time I did Mr. Craft dispell my rune."
Kana, Alice, and James are having a discussion back and forth all the way to the gym. Anna and I can't help much due not having any spellable skill. From their conversation, I know that Alice is having a hard time creating her Rune something about it's super complicated.
Kana, on the other hand, is having a hard time controlling her mana. Hell, she can't even feel her mana according to her. I told her maybe it was because of her traits that she's having a hard time controlling her mana. I mean according to her stats she doesn't even have one.
I ask Anna, Kana, and James to visit my house after we finish today lesson so we can study together. And maybe we can ask my father helps as he has more knowledge about all this sh*t. They agree to do so immediately before even I can pitch any further argument.
In the gym building, I can see a lot more instructor compare to others lesson. Mr, Carlos teach his lesson as a 1 man show, Ms. Layla brings in 2 additional helpers, but now I can see at least 5 extras holding a different weapon.
"Alright, now that you arrive we can immediately start the lesson. As this is your last class you got to be better compare to the class before as you have more experience from the class before." Mr. Hubert say after all the students get inside the gym building
"Now, We will teach you about skill application mainly. Now, although I can talk here all day it would be much easier for me to demonstrate it first then explain later. Mr. Poe, please" Mr. Poe walk from behind Mr. Hubert and stand beside Mr. Hubert holding a big cleaver.
Half of the students dropping their jaw seeing Mr.Poe holding a big cleaver. Mr. Poe is my homeroom teacher and he also teaches poetry so most of the students know him. Although he has been here for only 6 months most of the students know him due to his easy to approach personality.
Without any words, Mr. Poe swings his sword to other instructor holding a great shield and big maces in each of his hand. His swing is guaranteed miss as they stand about 10 meters across each other. But denying my logic I can see some kind of wind blades in the air coming out from Mr. Poe cleaver hitting the great shield.
Loud noises are reverberating when the wind collides with the great shield. The instructor move 3 steps back and now every student including the transfer students are picking up their jaw due to the shock.
