We didn't run out of topics to talk about even after we arrive at my house. We cleaned ourselves and gather up for dinner as the suns go down. With the addition of my father, our discussion goes on and on and the topic becomes more complex as we go.
Alice tries to keep up but she dozes off every now and then while we discuss more complicated stuff. My father seems happy to found out about Alice's progress; I guess he worried whether or not she can protect herself. He also suggests a couple of titles read in the library and about our progress.
Kana ask me about her problem once again after we finish dinner and I ask my father about it. He said there's a couple case similar but her's is a bit extreme. Most cases left them MP in their status but they have to utilize it in a different way; they also consist of class that doesn't depend on magic so the data are kinda obsolete.
So with that out of the window, I tell Kana my theory that could possibly help her. I tell her how mana flows through our body and how it concentrates in the belly button area. From there I can feel that I move throughout all my body and make a full circle before it nested in the same place.
I told her maybe her body is different because of the traits but the traits also said she can cast using blood as compensation instead of mana. I ask her to try to cast a healing spell again but instead of trying to feel and control mana to try using her blood as a media. She tries it a couple times but she still failed in the end.
She said that she can feel her blood moving and everything but it's really hard to control it. The day ends not without progress; Although Kana still can't healing spell when she tried to cast it her rune emits a bit of glow unlike when she did it in class. After that, she becomes very motivated but as night is fast approaching we decided to end our day.
Kana and Anna spent the night in Alice's room while James and I share the king sized bed in my room. We need to wake up quite early because there's a lot to prepare when you have extra people in the house. Kana, Anna, and James plan to extend their stay to discuss more about the experiment but they need to go to their home to pick some clothes and stuff.
Kana and Anna plan to ask their parent's to drop them off after dinner and James decided to do the same only instead of asking his parent he's going to drive by himself. We come to school the next morning and went into the auditorium again for another morning assembly.
'Are we going to keep doing this assembly every day??? It's so troublesome' I thought in my mind.
Today schedule almost the same as yesterday but I really excited about the library as there are many more titles to choose. I choose couples titles that the instructors and my father suggest me and finish it without a hitch. Unlike yesterday the students are really enthusiastic reading in the library. They either read about specific titles the instructor suggests them or more general knowledge of the new world.
One student asks Mr. Carlos when they can try dive into the game world. He told us the delivery got held on because of the weather. It will arrive approximately tomorrow but the school needs to set it up so we can dive in the day after tomorrow. The said student let a disappointed sigh and we proceed with the combat training.
The day proceeds same as yesterday for my little group of 5. Alice, James, and Anna spar with each other while me and Kana following the ranged combat lesson. In Ms. Layla class there are a couple more students successfully casting their spell; Kana and Alice still can't cast using their respective rune so the instructor is still watching them closely. James decided to sit closer to me and Anna so we can discuss about stuff we learn while he train his skeleton buddy.
In skill application class, James trains his shield skill using a new device that shoots steel ball in a random interval. The device is also moving in a circular track so he has to keep adjusting his angle. ;Some students that uses shield as their secondary weapon also decided to try the device but in the end they all failed miserably, including James. He ends up with a couple bruises and Mr. Hubert told him to visit the infirmary after the lesson.
In the infirmary, Kana get a face to face demonstration on how elemental healing works. The doctor in the infirmary combines water manipulation and healing skill to patch up James. Kana asks her couple questions but it didn't help a lot since Kana doesn't have water manipulation skill.
The next day, the principal informed us that there will be an additional class you can choose after you finish 1 week of initial training. Classes schedule will be emailed into our comlink and we can choose which lesson we want to attend. I decided to choose lessons to attend after we try how we would fare in the game world and pick lesson which will cover our weaknesses.
2 day pass by since and we're getting really excited to try dive into the game world. We spend most of our day on training and reading in the library. I can see more and more students getting the hang of how to do basic stuff.
We raise our skill comprehension and even pass Anna's skill comprehension by a bit. My dad said it's a normal thing as raising weapon mastery skill comprehension is harder than others skill. Alice improve the most in terms of comprehension. But the rest is also following her progress at a similar rate.
