I gave 3 lesser HP potions, 1 MP potions each to James and Alice because they are going to be our frontliner. I gave Kana 2 of the lesser HP potions and keep the rest with me for safekeeping. We walk towards the village exit and already I can see groups and groups and students also going out of the village.
Along the way to our destination, we strategize on how to hunt efficiently. We decided that James and his skeleton would attack first while Alice would go attack it whenever she can. James and Alice's teamwork is on a good level as they train it a lot with Anna; But as a worried brother, I keep reminding Alice to be careful and to hide behind James's shield as much as she can.
Kana and I can't really them much as we can't fight, yet. Kana still can't use her skill but she already improved a lot; Her rune shine brightly when she tries to cast a healing spell but in the end, it still doesn't do anything. As for me, I have not created the command skill using my instrument; so I can't really control Luna. I figure she would still protect me if the rabbit attacks me but that's will be because she wants to and not because I tell her to.
It took us 10 minutes for us to reach our destination and all I can see is chaos. There stand almost 200 people running around killing everything in their path. I wonder would the rabbit go extinct if we let the students stay here for too long.
I can see 2-3 students working together here and there but soon problem occur because of the chaotic situations. Friendly fire and students stumbling over each others trying to kill one rabbit. It's still acceptable if you stumble upon your teammate but when you hit others from a different party; friction is bound to happen.
James: "I don't think to go in the middle of that is a good idea," James said
Kana: "Should we just pick some Earth Chives and hunt in other places?" Kana ask
Albert: "Hunt in other places seems dangerous as we're only level 1, but hunting here also seems very inefficient." I added
Alice: "What should we do then?"
Albert: "I don't know; Maybe we hunt for 1 or 2 stray rabbits on the edge while focus on collecting Earth Chives."
James: "Well, that seems reasonable for now. We can relocate later after we get used to fighting monsters.
After we decided, we proceed to look for Earth Chives cautiously and hoping 1 or 2 stray rabbits would go our way. 10 minutes went by; we found a few Earth Chives but haven't killed our first monster yet. Although Earth Chives is not a rare herb it's still not that common either. They grow alongside normal Chives so you have to look carefully or you'll miss it.
Sudently 3 rabbits pop out from a new burrow near us; Maybe they feel threatened by the slaughter fest in the middle so they decided to dig new burrows. Unfortunately for them, the new burrow leads them to us.
James already prepared his skeleton just in case a monster pop out while we look for Earth Chives. He charges towards the rabbits alongside with his skeleton and crash into one of the rabbits with his shield;

It only takes 2 attacks from 2 fluffy to chop off 10% of James HP. Granted he's class is a necromancer and not some knight that has deep HP pool.

James's skeleton caught up and bash 1 of the rabbits that attack James with his new wooden club.

James managed to block 1 of the rabbits with his shield while the other went for his feet. His skeleton traded hit with the rabbit he clubbed earlier. Alice finally manages to catch up and successfully land 1 attack on the rabbit.
I try to communicate with Luna and tell her to help James and Alice but she just stares at them unmoved from her rightful throne on my shoulder. Kana observe the fight worriedly and just stood there with nothing to do.
The battle proceeds and they traded hit back and forth trying to kill the others. James HP depleted at a concerning pace and when his HP bar above his head reaches 40% I shouted to him to drink his potion.
Lucky for him, his right hand is free from any weapon so he proceeds taking a lesser HP potion from his inventory and chugged it all up.

Two +5's float above James's head restoring about 10% of his HP. On his right side, Alice and James's skeleton tag team and killed one of the rabbits without any problems. Alice and the skeleton went to help James after they killed the rabbit and relief James out of his burden.

It took us 2 minutes to take out all 3 horned rabbits without any casualties. James uses 2 of the 3 lesser HP potions he has healing 25 of his HP each. Alice takes all 3 of the rabbits' corpse into his inventory and we take a small break on the sides after that intense fight.
"Fiuuh, almost died there, hahahahaha" James said while laughing
"That's not funny!!!" Kana said looking at him worriedly
"Luckily we didn't hunt a stronger monster out there and chose this rabbit instead," I said patting James on his shoulder.
"Yeah, maybe we lure them 1 by 1, next time," James said thinking of a new strategy.
"Maybe don't charge head first into the battle!" I berate him "Your skeleton can really take a hit, why don't you let him go first and tank most of the hit?"
"I just get really excited and just go with the flow, sorry. hehehehe" James said while grinning "But, if he's the one tanking the monster then what do I do?" he continued
"NOT DYING!" Kana said to him
"Well, your first attack does an okay amount of damage, maybe try to bash them with your shield every now and then? I know it's unconventional but we do what we can to survive, I guess."
"Sorry i couldn't help much." Kana said meekly
"This good damn sh*tty healing skill!!!" Kana said trying to cast healing skill once again while helping James to get up.
