Justice always Wins

Kill everyone that get in your way. Even for Toujiro who founded the concept of Evil Organizations, this was the first time he suggested such action despite being a force of evil.

It wasn’t a matter of morality, but a case of efficiency. If it was possible, they would rather let them surrender to them.

[I really don’t want to do this, but we got no other choice. Soon, the world will be mine. If they are going to stand in my way, then they are better off dead.]

Toujiro was laughing. The world was about to fall into Metallica, or into Toujiro’s hands. He decided to sacrifice efficiency if it meant that he could achieve world domination faster.

Although it was very inefficient for them to massacre everybody, they still had a plan.

In order to for them to set an example if someone in the future would try to oppose them like this country’s emperor, they would take down the country piece by piece.

[Are you okay with this, Toujiro?]

Raz called out to him. Raz was again, out in the battlefield seeking his place in battle as Toujiro’s subordinate.

[Of course Raz. Now let’s go, the world you always wanted is waiting.]

And so, the small nation’s fight for sovereignty became a fight for survival.

Toujiro didn’t feel any sense of guilt.

Toujiro was merciless.

For someone who wanted to take over the world, it could be considered such ruthlessness as a talent that he possessed.

He wielded tremendous amount of power and influence, that he could destroy the world by his own hands.

As he had no sense of guilt, this made him more formidable. He didn’t hesitate, he always acted on which benefited him.

He brought down countless foes before him, and in a way, he was invincible.

The command to “kill them all” was very fitting of him, yet at this time, the whole would soon look back to his decision.

※※

The annihilation of the small country that stood against them was proceeding smoothly. With Toujiro and Raz leading them, and Metallica’s modified humans pushing the assault, the enemy was already weak.

Dylan the hero, seemed unlikely to stopping them.

Everybody in Metallica thought so.

Raz headed out into the battlefield and took command. Toujiro stayed put on his headquarters, the ruined capital of that small nation. This was where he would engage the enemy.

Some might say that it is preposterous for him to go into the front-line with Raz, but he had his reasons. He received intel that the remaining forces were gathering at the west of the capital. Raz was tasked to intercept and deal with them.

Their enemies didn’t even know that Toujiro was the one commanding Metallica’s forces. In order for them to get to him, they would have to find out where he is, understand Metallica’s movement patterns and break through Raz’s line of combatants. Even with Dylan on their side, it was impossible for that nation to find their way towards him.

Toujiro easily fought them off. No, it wasn’t even considered a fight. It was plain massacre with Metallica’s modified humans. They were advancing casually towards the enemy, crushing every ounce of resistance that came at them.

The fight was about to end. Or at least, someone thought so.

Someone appeared in front of Toujiro.

That man came down from the rooftops, punching and saving a child that was about to be killed by one of Metallica’s modified humans. He picked the child up, hoisted him on his shoulders and stood up.

He glared into Toujiro’s eyes as his trained body stood highly.

He knew him, and Toujiro also knew this man.

He was the only one n the world whom Toujiro considered his nemesis. He knew this man even before he founded Metallica.

[It’s been a while.. Hiroki.]

Toujiro casually called out to him. He carried a vibe of jest as he spoke to him.

[Toujiro.. I won’t lay idle if you keep stepping down on the weak.]

Toujiro glared into the eyes of the man he knew as Hiroki.

[Hahahaha! Still, I’m surprised how you managed to find me. Honestly, I’m surprised. Would you be so kind to tell me how? How did you do it?]

(In a childish tone)

Toujiro was surprised at heart. There was no way he could’ve find him, yet he found him. He even made it past Raz’s unit and appeared before him. For him to be able to do that, he posed a considerable amount of threat to Toujiro. Among the thrills he experienced thus far, none has come close to what he was experiencing now.

Hiroki regarded also regarded him as his nemesis. Twenty years ago, Hiroki, was no more than a simple investigator. With his unyielding spirit and his selflessness, he was considered as the world’s strongest by Toujiro.

[……]

Hiroki walked towards Toujiro as he stared at him.

[You’re going to ignore me? You at least have the obligation to answer my question… To whom do you owe the gratitude of modifying you? And don’t forget, you betrayed me. You’re the only one alive after doing so.]

[Betrayed you…? Bullshit. I don’t remember swearing allegiance to you. Eleven years ago, I didn’t infiltrate Metallica to receive body enhancement nor to investigate you. It was to secure the power to shoot you down. It was all for their honor.]

Hiroki then spoke out,

The reason why he was able to find him was because of moles planted within the Organization. The reason why he got past Raz’s unit was because the entire remaining army used themselves as a diversion for him to get through Raz’s unit.

[Hmm- Is that the truth? You are then saying “we had a traitor on our side”, while you were just doing the best of your capabilities…?]

There were a lot of factors waded in, but in retrospect, that was what he was trying to convey.

Hiroki’s words didn’t settle with Toujiro. That wasn’t even a “proper” explanation.

To Toujiro, he was hearing words along the line of “a miracle happened”.

[You wouldn’t understand… he reason why I changed sides… Why… Why they risked their lives just to get me through and stand before you!]

Hiroki shed some tears. He was a man who valued life above all else. He probably knew that the entire army would be massacred just for him to reach Toujiro’s place.

He was probably mourning their deaths… As senseless as Toujiro remembered him.

[Yeah. I’ll never understand.]

Hiroki was alone. Therefore the nation’s army must be dead or scattered.

Toujiro didn’t understand. What could come out after some Metallica members betrayed him? Why would an entire army risk their lives for this? Why would they volunteer to accelerate the time they are destined to die? All for this person to stand in front of him?

In the event that he (Toujiro) gets defeated, there was nothing they could come back to. Their family and friends were already dead, and their nation collapsing, why do they still continue to fight?

It made no sense to Toujiro.

[I’ve never felt that these words would carry so much weight today]

Hiroki removed his jacket, curling his right hand into a fist, he raised it into his left shoulder.

It was not public that this action was the process needed to call upon “that”.

[What words?]

Toujiro was still analyzing his situation.

A miracle happened. I won’t be defeated here. How can I pull through this?

Hiroki steeled himself and shouted,

[Justice always win]

It seemed no more then a a joke in Toujiro’s eyes. Hiroki, who was well over thirty years of age, was still sprouting the words he said in his youth.

Justice always wins. I’ll protect the world.

Just like heroes in stories, he took those words at heart, the reason Toujiro considered him as his enemy.

For him who kept believing, he was a beacon to the world symbolizing hope.

He would protect the world for people to keep on living peacefully. He won’t let anybody destroy that.

That man who kept on believing, was Toujiro’s greatest foe.

His Name –

The White Knight, Dylan.

Sengoku Hiroki

[Transform!]

His white armor glowed bright as his fist tightened, the rays of the sun gleaming on him. A hero revealed himself in front of a Villain.

※※

[Toujiro was defeated by Dylan, and after some time, passed away]

(TL: I hate it when the author does this. It would’ve been cool if he further extended Dylan and Toujiro’s fight a chapter or two.)

Toujiro’s body was equipped with information recorder. Hamet recovered his body and extracted the recorded data. He then knew what happened.

The new executive, Komori Neito listened to the story intently. After the narrative was over, he asked a question.

[… And Dylan?]

[He no doubt sustained a huge injury. After defeating Toujiro-sama, we initiated a pursue, but he managed to shake us off. After this incident, we decided to hide the truth… Do you know why?]

Neito nodded.

[… Yes]

If news that Metallica’s president had passed away, Metallica would surely collapse. More so, if they learned that their president was killed off by the hero Dylan.

Metallica was considered one of the top Evil Organizations in the world that made world domination a possible reality. Not only did they have Modified humans, Toujiro was considered to be the pinnacle of such Organization, skillfully pulling the strings behind the shadows.

Because the public knew that he was alive that everybody had doubts in opposing Metallica, and because Metallica believed that he was still leading them that they could perform in a top notch scale.

Both outside and inside, it was better off if they knew Toujiro was still alive. Fortunately, only Hamet and Dylan knew the truth at that time, and Dylan was in no condition to spread the truth to the world.

Hamet’s decision was swift. “Toujiro” would become a phantom, never appearing in person. He would create a number of reasons for those who doubt, and silence those who come close to the truth.

Hamet realized how terrifying his idea would be.

With Toujiro’s death, their goal of world domination has been significantly slowed down.

[Then, after this… Metallica…]

Neito already knew what happened next.

The worst and strongest leader left them. After that they continued the “President’s Will”. Plans and stratagems were now decided by the highest assemble, the “M” meeting.

Metallica’s top brass and leaders were all gathered into this room. Hamet, Raz, Headfield and him, Komori Neito.

[……]

Neito was silent. No doubt he was shocked of what he had heard.

Hamet somehow understood what the youth was feeling. Every since Hamet encountered him during his interview, He already kept his eye on him. The youth fought countless heroes of justice and made him wonder,

This kid looks like Toujiro-sama.

He uses Evil as his greatest weapon.

He doesn’t choose his methods as long as he gets the job done.

But he lacks what Toujiro-sama had… The ability to force out and gauge his opponents just by words alone.

He may be a Modified Human, but he still fall behind on the trade.  His muscles aren’t well developed and he is very much average on every aspect. Both may excel in Evil, but Neito falls behind.

In retrospect, Neito is just a Toujiro scaled down a few levels.

This was how Hamet saw Neito.

“If that’s the case, even Toujiro couldn’t beat that Dylan, how can he? How can he take over the world that way?”

Is that what you are thinking, that you are so quiet?

[……]

Neito crossed his arms and remained silent.

[Hey Komori! The real meeting is about to start!]

Raz (loudly) called out to him.

Neito raised his face and to Hamet’s surprise, it was different than what he expected.

※※

Neito was pondering over his thoughts after hearing Hamet’s story.

For unknown reasons, he didn’t understand the past relationship between Dylan and Toujiro so decided to leave it off. He’ll eventually figure it out later.

What surprised him the most was the former President’s personality and Dylan’s words.

The reason why a betrayal occurred was probably because someone couldn’t keep up with Toujiro’s evil. To those who saw Dylan, he signified justice.

He was sure of that.

Toujiro was no doubt a villain. He abandoned everything just to get what he desired. As a result, he was viewed as unlawful, inhumane and immoral in society’s eyes. That’s why people betrayed him. The one who betrayed him, didn’t have the gut see society.

And Dylan was justice.

He wished for the happiness of many, and he stood up to what he believed in. That was why people who wanted to help him showed up, even risking their lives to do so.

Neito knew Justice was strong. If that was the right thing to do, the thing that people wanted, and the thing that needs to be done, then people would fight beyond their limits. That was how human nature worked.

The same rang true for Mr. Big’s words.

The world won’t acknowledge Evil. That was why the path he was on  was a treacherous one. He would eventually fall in the hands of Justice, or in the hands of a greater Evil.

That’s right. Toujiro “fell” into the hands of Justice. It wasn’t a matter of wits or body. Neito possessed a body which Toujiro didn’t have. Toujiro didn’t realize the Organization itself would be his downfall.

The world won’t acknowledge Evil. It will be always hunted down. That was why “Justice always prevails” and “Evil always losses”

For the Toujiro who was the strongest, his defeat was a symbol.

But,

So what of it?

He was glad to learn Toujiro’s story. Thank’s to him, he came closer to an answer.

Toujiro was evil, no doubt about that.

Be he was old. Toujiro’s villainy was equal to any common villain in the modern times.

Neito was looking for a different answer.

Climbing to the top, defeating Justice along the way, Neito was still looking for an answer.

The words Manaka-san utter before his death. He caught a glimpse of what he was trying to say.

After every battle has been fought, he would soon arrive to that answer.

The true meaning of Evil in his own words.

He didn’t know if he could find it. He may not find it, and it may not exist, he might be defeated like Toujiro but,

There was no room for hesitation.

The path he wanted to walk, the “Justice” he wanted to defeat, the things he broke. He would bear his head high and have no regret. He can’t back down now.

[Hey Komori! The real meeting is about to begin!]

Raz called out to him.

He knew. The battle was about to begin.

Neito raised his head and answered,

[Yes, it may b sudden, but can I take the floor? Can you please read the papers filed in front of you?]

He took out a stack of paper which Niina neatly compiled. As expected of Niina

He was proposing two things.

The merging of all other Evil Organizations into Metallica.

With the General Affairs as it’s head, a review and restructuring of Metallica’s Organizational structure.

Looking at Neito’s reaction, Hamet pressed forward a question.

[Hou-. Do you plan on surpassing Toujiro-sama?]

Neito answered in a strong tone.

[I plan to take over the world. Then of course, I would have to surpass Toujiro-san.]
