"I know system…!" Duncan immediately held his hands up as the lady dropped him to the ground and smiled as she folded her arms.

She looked at him, and he looked at her…

He realized he just showed her he was alive, and she smiled and plopped down next to him…

"Sorry, I thought you were a Lupinosis clone… little friend…" She patted his bony head.

"Care to answer me where I am?"

Duncan smiled and reconnected his arm bone before signaling Phoenix away from hitting her in the head with the dagger…

At this point, his answer formulated as the sounds of a rising battle appeared outside the mountain…

Anyway, since he couldn't talk, he began scribbling in the floor, and he moved his mouth in unison causing her to laugh at him…

"You're somewhere in Monte Vernon Islands…" He wrote nimbly with his finger causing the lady to gasp and hold her hand to her mouth… "You're also a devil… I thought demons hated devils?"

She sighed and then realized she was talking to a skeleton…

Was this some sort of lich?

She'd never been to the netherworld, and shouldn't be… but what was with this enclave inside this mountain…

Outside the sounds of battle were starting to beat like a drum, and she held up her hand causing a gigantic barrier to appear around the mountain…

It was better for her to be safe then sorry in the netherworld, and as a devil she'd immediately become hunted by everyone. Hence, putting up a sensing diminishing barrier around this strange mountain beget her desire to eat…

"Hmm, thank you skeleton… I didn't realize skeletons could be so smart…" She loosened up her body, and fell to the floor.

She knew a skeleton at this level wouldn't have any allegiance to a clan…

So, Duncan then found himself stuck in here with her, and couldn't escape from the barrier she put up…

[Ding! Host has been encased in a sensing diminishing barrier, and is recommended to make friends with the devil death angel… If host is lucky, she may be able to be recruited as an ally…]

"Hmmm," Duncan turned towards the angel and wrote against the rock with his mining equipment… "Aren't you going to answer my question?"

The death angel sighed and then nodded her head… Luckily, Duncan already knew Devils weren't allowed here, so she smiled and shrugged her shoulders…

"I was fighting a devil in the Neutral plains, and I thought I died… Of course, I'm aware that I'll be killed if I don't hide… However, I'm realizing I need you skeleton…"

Fast!

What the heck!?

She already needs him?

He looked at her, and she nodded her head as he began speaking.

"What do you mean… I'm not very valuable…" He scribbled using his level 15 mining skill onto the walls of the tunnel in small lettering…

Regardless, she already had something in mind for him after hearing his answer…

"You're extremely valuable! An intelligent skeleton… Tell you what… I'll help you train, and you get me resources, so I don't die…" She held up her hand as the dirt turned from his posh room of dirt piles into an elegant, palatial chamber full of furniture…

He spent months building those mounds of dirt to sit on, and he wasn't being a good agent right now…

Wait, this was a huge opportunity!

Perhaps the devils would finally be willing to support the humans, but she looked like an outcast, and he didn't really have anything but yes to say to her…

"I don't mind being your student… however, I'm only level 8…"

"Hmmm, just bring me resources once every month, and I'll teach you something…" She began meditating immediately, and it was already the end of the discussion…

Looking at his new base, phoenix pointed towards the entrance as hundreds of skeletons began marching towards the entrance to his mountain…

A second later, he found himself looking at a mysterious man, and he appeared to be knocking on the air…
