Duncan disappeared for roughly five days, and five nights from the orcs using the elaborate tunnel network he created under the encampment, and the orcs were too small to fight in the tunnels, so they had to wait for hobgoblin reinforcements…

During that time before they sent the hobgoblins into the tunnels, Duncan had set up a series of corpse traps that exploded over and over again to the dismay of the orcs using his skeleton form….

Soon, because of that skeleton, a rumor spread about a great necromancer, and who didn't fear necromancers?

They suspected a necromancer using the form of the great lich had been hunting for experience in the ocean, and... all the orcs stayed in small groups to avoid being murdered all at once...

The tide above one group of those orcs still carried the scent of blood from those recent horrible murders Duncan had orchestrated. Not too far from Duncan, a few of the orcs trained in a warzone unaware that he was the 'forsaken necromancer' that killed their friends, and… Phoenix and Wormy seemed satisfied being mixed in a mob of screaming goblins…

"Heh… that stupid ice hobgoblin has no where to go…" The orc spun his blade into a couple of reanimated corpses, and he was with three fellow orcs…

"Yes… however… that necromancer has been nothing but trouble…!"

"Hmph, that necromancer should run out of energy soon, and… I'm very excited to finally be free of this stupid mission over this damn selection candidate…" The four orcs spoke and fought unaware that the hobgoblin that had murdered their friends in cold blood was that necromancer…

On the left side of a pile of screaming hobgoblins in that warzone, Phoenix had a dead hobgoblin nested in his hands, and Duncan stood next to Mona waiting for her to hold her hand up… Once she did, he could enter into the warzone, and… what exactly was a selection candidate?"

[Ding!]

[System is searching database for information on a selection candidate…]

[…]

"Ugh… it's fine system…" Duncan stretched up his arms, and… it meant that someone was selected right, so that meant that Bastide Aras was a selection candidate…

Regardless, Phoenix jumped into the pile of dead bodies and winked at Mona…

Wormy, on the other hand, he just crawled…

It made him happy being back under the dirt, and… he followed his master's strategy of digging his way under their feet as Duncan finally received his answer…

[Ding! Three entries on selection candidates have been found, and a selection candidate is a soul provided with strands of various sect leaders and their Dao companions…]

[These selection candidates have inheritance memories, and… producing relatives before the mortal fragmentation realm requires this method…]

"I…I don't understand what you just said system…" Duncan leisurely walked out from behind the rock at the edge of the warzone, and diced his way through some screaming hobgoblins…

The orcs noticed him approaching and something appeared to be on their foot…

One of the orcs tried to move and fell, but… after hitting the dirt he realized he was in a pile of dead bodies…

"Oh crap… it was him!" He came to a startling realization as Duncan kept whistling and slicing and then he finally said corpse explosion…

[Ding! Host has killed 4 heathen Morus orcs, and… you've received 50,000 experience…]

[Host has leveled up, and… you've received 20 / 25 strands of the Heathen Morus orc bloodline…]

"Hmmm… why are there so many different types of orcs system?" Duncan picked Wormy and Phoenix out of the ground….

Mona also helped Phoenix out of the ground, and… Wormy said "Love.." with sadness in his eyes as he stared at her…

She punched him in the face, and… he had 15 strands of 3 different types of orcs… so… could he combine them?

He asked his system this, and… Mirada touched down onto the ocean floor as Enna squeezed Duncan's neck…

"You… you little ugly monster! I… I missed you!" Enna hugged Wormy after tossing Duncan into the dirt, and Mirada helped him up with a smile…

"Hmmm… happy you're still alive… and… oh yes! Something urgent happened at the sect!"
