"Congratulations!" Jeru greeted as he hugged Keira and gave her the flowers he had brought.

"Thanks, Jeru, they are beautiful," she whispered and smiled back at him.

She saw May and Lana, who had also graduated the same day, walking towards her. They hugged and congratulated each other happily.

Field Marshal Chan laughed as he watched Jeru who became the photographer of the three girls. He could say that Jeru was a good man. Too bad that Keira seemed not to take him as anything more than a friend.

"Look at those girls, Drey is missing though…" whispered Mrs. Chan who was used to seeing Keira with Lana, May, and Drey all together. Now it was Jeru who was with the girls most of the time.

"Drey is doing good in the military. Surprisingly, he has big potential. He will soon rise in the rank too. His graduation ceremony is next week until then he's not allowed to come out of the academy, dear," commented Field Marshal Chan. He had heard a lot about Drey and his capabilities inside the academy and he was impressed.

"I bet that Senior Russo will hold a grand feast next week." Mrs. Chan said as she chuckled, remembering how excited was Drey's father personally handing out to them the invitation for Grey's graduation after-party two months ago. That's how proud and excited he was, distributing invitations so early.

Field Marshal Chan observed his daughter and then he sighed as he thought about Zach… He intentionally did not tell Keira, but Zach was going to return soon, safe and sound after that critical mission he had been put into. But, knowing his daughter, he was sure that Keira already knew about that.

There was no other choice back then because they all agreed that only Zach could pull that tough mission through. It was like he was born for it… Only Zach… He was the best the military got by now. His tactics were so precise, though it took longer.

General Jin had a quick plan for it, but it failed and had even put his and his men's lives in danger.

Zach… He liked the man but he would prefer someone like Jeru for Keira… or someone who was not a soldier at all. But it was Keira's heart, and they would not go against Keira's choice no matter whom she would choose.

Mrs. Chan smiled and murmured, "Look at how accomplished she is with that smile. Now she can marry anytime she wants to whomever she likes."

Field Marshal Chan felt very proud of his daughter Keira who graduated early as she passed the exam for academic acceleration.

"She has really worked her butt off…" he muttered with a grin. Keira would soon turn twenty-one, in three weeks actually. He and his wife had prepared a grand celebration for her.

A grand masquerade party.

"By the way, the Kens had called me, asking for a blind date for our daughter and Rigs grandson, Ryu Ken." he suddenly said as he recalled that Old Master Ken himself had asked him about that favor.

He couldn't turn down that request because he owed so much to Rigs alone, and his wife knew about it.

"Well, let's tell Keira about it. We owe so much to the Kens and simple blind date will not harm her. Besides, I'm sure Rigs' grandson won't like our daughter or maybe I'm wrong. If there's a family I would like Keira to join, where I will feel at peace for her, it's the Kens," said Mrs. Chan with a sigh.

"The problem is your daughter. You know how stubborn she is," complained Field Marshal Chan that made his wife laugh.

"You only need to confiscate all her black cards, dear, and she will follow you for a day." Mrs. Chan laughed after saying her piece. Because blackmailing Keira would only last a single day. Surely, on the second day, their wicked daughter would start thinking of a way to turn the tables.

........

Thea let out a wide smile as soon as she arrived at the airport.

'Finally, I'm back for good!' she mused as she was led by her bodyguards to a safe exit.

"Madam, this way…" said her assistant as she quickly boarded a black limousine.

"Are you happy to be back? I hope you will behave as you have promised," said the man inside the car when he noticed how wide Thea's smile was as she looked out of the window of the car.

"Yeah, of course. I've missed my country," she murmured and smiled back at the man and added, "Thank you."

'I have been gone for so long, Zach… How I wanted to come back to you as soon as possible,' she mused excitedly.

Then, she felt how Von grabbed her hand and held it tight.

She had almost forgotten… that she had sold herself to the devil…

But in due time, she knew that she would be free soon…

'Please, wait some more, Zach…' she prayed inwardly, hopeful that somehow, she still had a place in Zach's heart.
