Torin was fed with too much vinegar early that morning as he watched the two love birds in front of him.
He noticed the two jogging at the park where he, Cielo and Zach usually jogged together during their spare time.
As they met at the park, they ended up eating breakfast together.
"This is too much," he murmured irritably as he drank his coffee. He felt like he was watching a romance movie with too much sweetness and rose petals flying in the air.
He crumpled his face when Keira even leaned her head on Zach's shoulder while she was looking at her phone. Then she snuggled that face of hers on Zach's neck.
'What the heck!' he mused as he abruptly stood up.
"I will leave first and leave you two alone! I can't take it anymore! That's too much public display of affection. I am not going to sit here and watch you kiss right in front of my face...! Darn it! You two are both cruel!" Torin complained irritably and walked out of the cafe feeling frustrated, especially when he heard the two just laugh after him.
"How dare they make me feel like a third wheel!" Torin murmured with a heavy heart.
Then he sighed as he looked at his mobile phone. There's still no messages from Lana. Yesterday, she said that she would message him about when she would be free to go out.
Lana seemed so busy with her studying. He didn't want to push her to go out with him at this stage.
He was walking back to his unit when he saw Lyra at Zach's door, as she kept on pressing on his doorbell.
Torin paused… He contemplated if he should approach Lyra or not. He was about to turn around and run out, but it was already too late.
"Bro Torin!" Lyra exclaimed and ran towards Torin.
"Hey, stop!!" she exclaimed with a creased forehead.
Torin sighed and stopped, then turned around to smile at Lyra.
"Oh, Lyra… Zach is not there. He's with his girlfriend now," he said simply.
"What?! He has a girlfriend?" Lyra burst out, her eyes widening.
Torin sighed again when Lyra suddenly grabbed him and lead him towards his unit.
He was always like this whenever Lyra was around. That irregular beating of his heart started again and he hated it.
He opened the refrigerator and poured Lyra her favorite drink, fresh orange juice.
"Here," he said.
Lyra smiled and said, "Thanks, Bro. Tell me who is it? I'm too curious…"
Torin sigh… Then he narrated everything to Lyra.
Lyra cackled and commented, "I told him that Keira Chan is very sharp. She surely knows how to get and gets whatever she wants. Big Bro is definitely not an exception!"
"Tell me… What's with the luggage?" asked Torin looking at the luggage that Lyra had brought.
"Oh that… Actually, I was planning to bother Big Brother Zach for a month. My unit is undergoing renovation… But he has a girlfriend... Ahh, wait…" Lyra explained but then paused and looked at the door behind her. It was Torin's guest room.
She could no longer bother Cielo because she heard that Cielo had already got married and moved out.
"Bro Torin, can I stay here just for one month, please?" Lyra begged with her expressive eyes that suddenly melted Torin's heart.
But then he shook his head and snapped, "NO!"
Lyra pouted her lips and said, "I'll do all the cleaning… even your laundry, just give me free lodging and food, Bro, please?"
Lyra sighed… She was so broke right now.
Almost all her income from her new work ended up paying her debts during her college days. Her family did not know about it.
She knew that Big Brother Zach already had a heavy burden by taking care of them all. She wanted to help her Big Brother Zach by not making him shoulder all her school expenses too.
Those loan sharks were like crocodiles when it came to money.

"Don't worry, Bro… I will serve you and your house so well that you'd wish I won't ever leave you…" Lyra said in jest that, inwardly, made Torin curse even more.
One month of continuous torture-that was what this insane thing sounded to his ears...
