"Ohhh!!! He is good!!!" May squealed with excitement as she watched the second match. The one who was called the 'Pretty Boy' fought in such a clean way that blood was nowhere to be seen. May could not help but be amazed by his skills.

His fighting form was so graceful and flowy that each of his movements felt like they were moving in tune with each other. The experience of watching such a captivating live duel left her mouth agape as she witnessed how the 'Pretty Boy' swivelled, lunged, charged and did a flying kick in a circular quick motion.

'This was not a brutal fight. This was art!' May marvelled. That was the first time a guy had ever caught May's attention.

"I like his moves... There's no blood at all..." May mumbled with her mouth still open and her eyes fixated on the fight.

Jeru saw May's state of astonishment, so he decided to bring her back to her senses, "Close your mouth, May! That 'Pretty Boy' may not be spilling blood on the outside, but he was attacking his opponent's internal organs. His opponent is drowning in his own blood inside his body, he's as good as dead now."

Jeru then looked at his wristwatch. Around one and a half hours had passed. They needed to wait four and a half hours more.

Luckily, Zach had not been picked by the machine yet. Leon still had a lot of fighters inside the barred area.

Meanwhile sitting on a bench inside the fighters area, Zach sighed…

Riley was in the middle of a match against an escaped convict who had r*aped and killed several young women. Riley would surely not hesitate to kill the man.

Zach let out another depressed sigh which was noticed by Cobra.

"Are you worried that we may end up fighting each other?" Cobra asked as he watched the fight intently.

Zach's silence meant yes… He did not want to fight the innocent ones among these fighters and having to end their lives, especially those of Riley and Cobra, whom he had come to know personally and become close with.

"Life… We can only spend it once. And I guess we are unlucky to have ours spent like this…" murmured Cobra.

Zach's face darkened. They failed to escape before the tournament had begun but…

His thoughts were interrupted by the loud cheers from the crowds and he looked around to see the faces of the people whom he considered the pests of society.

These people whose thirst for blood was so strong that they identified a violent tournament like this as a mere pastime. He always knew that this kind of people existed, but he had never expected that he would be able to personally witness the euphoric yet hideous look on their faces, as they watched lives being terminated right before their very eyes.

His gaze paused on one particular spot, where an old lady was seated. For an unknown reason, the old lady had caught his attention. She seemed to be staring at him earnestly.

Their eyes met. Her eyes looked so familiar. Zach stared back at her closely and his eyebrows furrowed when the old lady smiled at him

Those eyes… Those bright and cheerful eyes...

And that smile… That beautiful but mischievous smile that only his wife could pull off...

"It can't be... Keira?" He murmured in a daze. His heart skipped a beat as their eyes talked in their own silent language of love.

"No way…" Zach mumbled. He blinked his eyes several times to make sure that this was not just his imagination. But every time he opened his eyes, she didn't disappear. She was still there, sharing the same space with him.

Zach's eyes immediately shifted to the old man beside her and panic struck his face.

'Oh God, no!'

Then he turned his gaze towards the spot where Leon was sitting, and his eyes widened even more.

Thea was also here. Why would Thea be here?

Zach looked at Leon, who had also been staring at him by now. Leon let out a smirk while pulling Thea closer to him, obviously to mock him.

'What's going on? Could it be...?'

He could now roughly guess what was happening. He did not look back at the old lady because he knew Leon was still watching him.

If his hunch was right, he knew he should not be looking at the old lady anymore.

Zach cursed silently… Damn it. If it really was Keira, he did not want her inside this ship at all!

But knowing how stubborn his wife could be, he knew the high possibility of the scenario that was running through his head right now.

He was too distracted with Keira's appearance that he couldn't focus on anything else. He couldn't stop himself from cursing inside.

'What if something happens to her here!? Doesn't she know how dangerous this place is!? Why would Jeru let her come here!?'

But he calmed himself down and dismissed all negative thoughts.

After a while, the match between Riley and his opponent ended and Riley was declared the winner.

Riley was still panting hard when he came back to their area.

"Hey, 'Pretty Boy'! You should be called the 'Kung Fu Shi*thole' instead! Coz' if you fight me, I'm gonna make sure to put my shi*t in your hole!" Sting gave Riley a taunting remark, to which the other fighters in his group responded with a roar of laughter.

Riley's face became dark but he chose to ignore them as usual. He sat beside Zach while still trying to catch his breath.

"Are you alright?" Asked Zach and Riley just nodded.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

The machine would be shuffled once more for another match. Leon was getting even greedier after he saw how much money he was able to rake in just from the first two matches.

He was too engrossed in his own avarice and he excitedly tapped his screen for the next match…

Then he guffawed as he looked at Thea, who did not faint this time, because the fight that had just ended was not bloody, unlike the previous one.

"Oh! What do we have here!? This would be an interesting fight to watch. Let's see how well this match will end!" Leon exclaimed as his eyes glittered with excitement.

"No!" Keira gasped in her seat as soon as the next chosen fighters were revealed on the screen.
