"I still can't believe my dream of us having twins came true..." Keira murmured while her eyes were fixed on the television. They were sitting on the couch, watching videos about pregnancies in their hospital ward.

Keira rested her head on Zach's chest while they cuddled with each other. Zach chuckled, "We don't know yet if we're getting twins. Your ultrasound is scheduled next week."

She giggled because she knew Zach was right, but she still retorted, "Well, I still feel I have twins inside my tummy because I've been eating thrice as much lately. For the twins and me."

Zach chuckled and hugged her tighter as he buried his head in her hair to inhale her sweet scent. Both of them had agreed to follow their families' advice, which was not to go back to work immediately after they were discharged from the hospital. They would spend a week to relax and have fun before they went back to their routines. Especially now that Keira was pregnant.

After the week's vacation, Keira would go back to her job at CEC, as a news reporter, while Zach would settle certain things at the military before he would totally resign from active military duty.

"We should really avoid beaches in our vacation. I just want to tour nice places together. Places we've never been to before," Keira said while she thought of some lovely places to go to with Zach. She would really like to avoid having a salty dip in the sea as much as she could for a while.

"Besides, I'm not allowed to go too far anyway, for our babies' safety, so I propose that we just get a nice house with a nice view and serene surroundings and lock ourselves in it for a week. What do you think?" Keira suggested.

Zach grinned because of the word 'babies.' Keira stubbornly assumed that they would have twins, just like Josh and Rizie. If possible, he, too, would love to have twins like his siblings. Even though it would be hard to take care of two babies at the same time, but wouldn't it be nice if they could have two babies in one go?

"I think… What about we just lock ourselves in our apartment instead?" Zach suggested in jest.

Keira's mouth twitched and mumbled, "Because you still want to mark every corner, General?"

Zach laughed and said while he gave her soft smooches on her head, "Yes, I still have to fulfill that promise, right, my star?", to which Keira smilingly replied, "See, you're one hungry wolf..."

The couple's bantering was interrupted by a sudden buzz on their door.

"It must be Thea and Jeru," Keira murmured before she released herself from Zach's embrace and pressed the button to unlock the door. May had already informed them about Jeru and Thea's marriage, as well as Thea's pregnancy, which was the result of the incident at Arya's grand charity event.

It was indeed Jeru and Thea at the door, and they had brought a big basket full of various kinds of fruits for Keira and Zach.

But as soon as Keira saw and smelled the oranges, her stomach suddenly churned, and she rushed to the restroom to throw up. Zach followed her with a worried look as he gently massaged Keira's back while she was vomiting.

Thea looked at Jeru and instructed him to take the fruit basket outside. After a few minutes, Keira went out and apologized.

"Where's the fruit basket?" she asked when she noticed that it was gone.

"Oh, it looks like you are sensitive to them, so I told Jeru to take it out," Thea answered with a smile. Keira looked disappointed because she loved to eat fruit. "No, it's okay. I will eat them, just not the oranges… I hate the smell and the color," She said as she cringed at the thought of oranges.

Thea then signaled Jeru to take the fruit basket back and asked him to take out all of the oranges before he brought it back into the room. And Jeru did as he was told. Keira could not help but giggle. "Since when did Jeru become that submissive?" she whispered to Thea, whose cheeks immediately reddened.

Then Keira said to Zach, "Gosh, my General… I think we've missed a lot of things during our absence."

Zach was also amazed seeing the henpecked Jeru. The previously high and mighty Jeru Liu was now an obedient husband who did anything that his wife asked him to do. But Zach was really pleased to see Thea smiling again like the old times.

Thea deserved to be happy because she had had enough setbacks already. And he would be the first to throw a punch at Jeru if he would ever mistreat her, but after witnessing the new couple together, Zach knew that it was highly unlikely to happen.

The two couples enjoyed a conversation about many things. Zach and Keira were telling Thea and Jeru about the time they were stranded on a deserted island. And they were also sharing their future plans with each other. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

Thea was telling Keira everything about her experience with her pregnancy. She already passed her first trimester and was now in her second, while Keira was still in the early first trimester.

"I told you about my pregnancy, but every woman experiences pregnancy differently..." Thea said, smiling. Keira noticed that Thea smiled and laughed more compared to before. She was glad to see it. It looked like everything had eventually fallen into place.

"If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask me, okay? Especially with Jeru's grandmother. I know how to handle her..." Keira warned her, jokingly. Thea nodded and replied, "Yeah, I've heard a lot about her, but mostly, it's a warning like yours… But don't worry, Jeru promised that he will take care of me, so I'm not worried."

Jeru heard it clearly, even though he was talking to Zach about some other things. For some reason, Thea's confidence in him warmed his heart. He was then beaming at Zach and bragged, "By the way, if you need to know anything about how to take care of a pregnant woman, don't hesitate to ask me, okay? Pregnant women can be really complicated to handle, trust me… But so far, I am managing it really well. Thea would often have cravings, that I even had to skip a lot of important meetings just to look for the dish she wanted."

Zach did not know how to react because it was the first time he and Jeru talked like this, and it felt a bit awkward, so he answered, "I think I can manage… Keira doesn't seem to be that complicated to me."

Jeru looked at Zach intently before he proudly declared, "Look, Zach, you may have been better than me at all the other stuff, but I'm more experienced than you in this. So this time, just listen to me, okay? If you have questions, just ask me."

Zach looked back at Jeru, totally stupefied.
