Inhaling a breath of his cologne mixed with his own fresh scent she started blushing furiously. "Ah, sorry." Zhi Rou looked down to cover up the fact that her whole face turned red.
"Hey, are you okay?" He looked a bit amused and shocked that someone crashed into him when he was just standing still and admiring the artwork. His cute pink lips slowly curved upward as he looked down at her wondering why she was still holding onto him. "Is my embrace that comfortable? Maybe we should get married, that way you can hold onto me forever." His green eyes twinkled as he teased the girl who had her arms wrapped around his waist.
"Ye- I mean sorry, thank you for catching me." flustered she quickly let go of his waist. 'Why did she have to push me', thought Zhi Rou, 'if I had just walked over normally this wouldn't be so awkward'. 'On the other hand, it was really comfortable'. Realizing that she was forgetting why she came over in the first place she quickly looked up. "Do you know were the Mona Lisa is? because we have been looking for it for over twenty minutes and we still can't find it."
"Erm, hopefully?" A cunning light flashed through his eyes and thought for a bit before continuing "I saw it this morning but this place is huge so I don't know I will be able to remember where it is without showing you personally."
Zhi Rou responded with a bright smile "Really! well I mean, if you want to that would be great, thank you"
"It would be my pleasure, it is a bit far from here why don't you tell me your names and a bit about yourself while we walk? Mine is Julian" said Julian as he started walking towards stairs with Zhi Rou and Jie Fang right next to him.
"My name is Jie Fang, I am fifteen years old, I like sports." Said Jie Fang, albeit in a rather uneven voice but it was still unmistakably English.
"And I am Zhi Rou, Jie Fang doesn't speak English that well so she can't really understand us," said Zhi Rou as she fought to keep her breath even. It seemed as if just being next to him made her heart want to jump out of her chest. 'Why am I acting like this' she thought. 'He is just another boy, I have talked to plenty of them before, so why is he so different?'
"Oh, so how come you are here, in Paris I mean? Did you come by yourselves or with your school or something?" asked Julian, his head tilted slightly to the side so that the sun coming through the skylights shone brightly on his face.
Zhi Rou froze up in shock, 'god he was too beautiful'. His long eyelashes seemed to catch the golden sunlight that was reflecting off the rest of his face, highlighting his luxurious green eyes with a dark blue ring. It was the perfect combination of chocolaty warmth and devilish attraction.
Jie Fang quickly elbowed her friend while whispering, "hurry up and stop drooling, answer his question."
Startled, Zhi Rou quickly woke up from her daze "ah yes, we are here with our art teacher. She is taking our class on a trip to France for a couple of days."
"So you are going to be here for a couple of days," he said with a smile as if he suddenly thought of something good. "Are you going to see Claude Monets garden and house? It is truly an amazing place worthy of a painter of his caliber. Especially his water lilies, I can see why he fell in love with painting them."
"I don't think so, our teacher has only planned activities in Paris," said Zhi Rou looking a bit regretful.
