No longer was there chatter from the table as Redford's group could not help but stare. Things apparently, were so strange even Sheryl found herself less focused on the meal but mostly on the two teens...

What they just witnessed was no small feat. These two in their minds could not exceed 15 years of age. When has there ever been a genius in the Fu province at that age treating an 8th stage qi condensation cultivator like this? Much less two...

Also though the Nakushi tribe has declined significantly over the last couple centuries and this is mere small remnants of it. Their skill still cannot be compared to an average cultivator. Shouldn't he have put up some form of resistance? Wasn't this for want of a better word " overbearing."

" Puk!!!"

A mixture of water and dust was spat out of the bloodied mouth of Amir.

" Where am I...?

He asked out loud as he surveyed his surround. His eyes stretched pass the river which was still calm before then drifted into a restaurant. A big hole could be seen to its side. There sat a group with a pair of teens seemingly oblivious to what had previously taken place.

When he saw the youth with dreads and the girl with silver hair cascading down, his very soul quivered. Now everything seemingly made sense.

Unlike the others, he felt the full force of the attack. He once had exchanged a few rounds with a 9th stage qi condensation cultivator. However, there was no comparison to how dominated he just was...

" Damn I fuck up..."

The realization dawned on him as now there was not only fear for himself but for his whole tribe. At first, when he saw the pair he assumed they had some backing yes.

However, he assessed the situation and seeing how naive the youth was, he decided to take a chance. It was a gamble but the risk did not seem high.

Now it finally dawned on him how ludicrous his initial decision making had been. He didn't kick a hornet's nest but a damn dragon's cave it seems.

"Any clan or sect that had these two as members must be a behemoth. Forget the Fu province, which sect within the Chu country could they be from?"

Amir thought as he fought to lift his aching body from the ditch he found himself in.

His movements caught the eyes of Taf who had just indulged in a big gulp of some tangy beverage...

" Aahh Amir you're alive and kicking, for a second there I feared you had met your maker. My apologies I meant to warn you of this outcome but this had slipped my mind. You see I tend to many things, surely you can understand."

Taf grinned while using Amir's own words against him. Amir, however, didn't even think of retorting. His only thought now being how he could salvage himself and tribe for the predicament he now found himself in.

" Sir I... I..."

He struggled to find the right wording to phrase his apologies but the words all seemed underwhelming.

" Just take the 90 lqs and let's call it a day. How about it..?"

Taf waved Amir off as he sampled some dessert he saw newly brought to the table. He had some idea of the worries in this fellows mind. They had their fun and if he didn't learn a lesson from this, so be it.

" There is no need for you to pay sir it's on the house."

Amir quickly took the pouch he previously received from Taf out his clothing. This was as the best outcome he could have wanted. He then cautiously threw it over.

" Hmm..."

Taf caught the pouch as he eyed Amir...

" My lesson aren't usually free Amir and not many cross me and get off so unscathed, but I did quite enjoyed the meal so consider yourself lucky.."

Those words were uttered by Taf before he totally ignored Amir and once more engaged May in conversation.

" You are quite merciful young master..."

Amir bowed before hurrying off feeling quite grateful in escaping the calamity he just found himself in.

???????

Soon the festivities had come to a close and it can be said that both Taf and May enjoyed themselves quite a bit.

" That was a well-picked destination Renford. I see my trust wasn't misplaced and indeed put in the right person..."

While mounting Hammerhead Taf spoke to Renford who had been doing the same on the Hornbill's back.

" It is but a small feat young master Taf. "

Renford stated as his mind still could not move from the incident that had happened. The two became an impenetrable mist of fog within his mind.

Over the next few days, both May and Taf were treated to various villages. Though not as impressive as the previous Nakushi Tribe. They all had something unique.

However, everything good must come to an end eventually and it was no different for this journey.

Soon they made their way to a grand wall that from all appearances spanned a distance of tens of thousands of acres. It was jet black seemingly capable of swallowing all the light around.

On its top were giant flame holders spewing what appeared to be purple flames. There something unwelcoming about the overall atmosphere. Which Taf assumed was the intended goal.

This seemingly was an effective deterrence on Redford's group. The hornbill made a squeaking sound before hovering within the air.

" Unfortunately young masters this is as far as I can take you. We are now in close proximity to the air space of The Dark Abylis Sect. It is a grave offence for outsiders to barge in. It has indeed been a pleasure being your guides."

The statement was uttered by Renford as he seemed somewhat reluctant. These few days have been a pleasant surprise.

If he were to tell this story to the others at the village, he would bet with his life no one would believe him. Luckily for him, there were thirteen other witnesses to the act.

" It has been our pleasure as well. It saddens us, isn't unfortunate? We were able to visit numerous villages yet yours was not on the list. However, take it as our word within a year or two we would have to bother you in entertaining us."

May spoke with a smile as they said their goodbyes to Renford's group. They were the first set of cultivator encountered on their journey and seemingly had some good character traits.

" That would indeed be a pleasure, as our gates will always be opened to you young masters."

Renford spoke as the Hornbill readied itself in avoiding the airspace of the Dark Abylis Sect. The teens waved as they dared not take their eyes off the two. Sadness could be seen in their eyes but such is life.

" See you soon.."

Taf gave a last smile before turning to the charcoal black walls.

" So this the Dark Abylis Sect huh, could use some colour but not bad, not bad. Something is missing however.."

He uttered to May who also assessed the surroundings also.

" Really? And what is missing I wonder?"

She curiously asked...

As they were admiring the structure within the distance ten black large crows could be seen moving at a rapid speed through the air. On their backs were cultivator garbed in black and purple attire.

The group consisted of a mixture of both males and females. With the majority being males at 7 and females 3.

" ...Our welcoming party of course."

Taf chuckled while he awaited the arrival of the crows...

Soon the ten crows had made their way over. In formation they surrounded Hammerhead. Noticeable of the ten crows one seemingly was of a large build. Its beak being red and the others black.

On its back there sat a man whose face was riddled with scars. He coldly stared at the two on the red featured eagles back. His qi emitted reflected that he was a cultivator at the 9th stage of qi condensation...

" State your business..!"

He commanded both May and Taf who assessed each of the 10 cultivators. Of the ten, the weakest was apparently at the 8th stage of qi condensation.

" Damn it.., and here I told them to expect my visit. Yet they send mere foot soldiers to great me. Big flower do you see the disrespect?"

Taf couldn't help but lament in his disappointed. He then looked to his side and made the comment to May...

The 10 were startled by the comment. When have they ever been so insulted by mere teen? Of their group, the youngest was 19. Yet this youth who from all appearance who couldn't be more than 15, referred to them as mere foot soldiers...

" This is an underwhelming greeting indeed, Let's give them some time. We might have arrived earlier than expected."

May responded while she seemingly looked beyond the group. This only caused the group to become somewhat impatient...

" You are currently trespassing on the territories of the Dark Abylis Sect. This is your final warning. State your business, leave or die..!!!!"

The man whose face was riddled with scars once more spoke. This time however he was even more overbearing. His qi, as well as the rest of the group, was now unleashed...

" Seemingly they are unaware of our presence. Fellow be a good chap, care to pass on to those within the upper echelon this message...

The Mouse has come to play and also in his company is the beauty that is May."
