Crack!

An object seemingly fell from the darkened skies without warning. This startled the group of bandits rummaging through the caravans.

Whatever fell could not be seen due to the impact of its descent, which created a huge dust cloud. When the dust faded they saw a youth with a  mix of black and brown dreads.

On his face was a cheeky smile.

" What tha fuck?!

It's raining kids. I've seen it all!"

One of the bandits exclaimed in sheer fright at what he just saw. Who wouldn't be in his position? A person doesn't just fall out of the sky at any given time.

What made it even freakier was now a slight downpour had started.

Crk! Crk!

Taf then stretched and twisted his body.

" Oh shit! Now that feels a bit better. I should remember next time to jump from a lower altitude. Someone might get the impression I am suicidal."

He muttered while the group looked at him in sheer horror. Below him was a crater spanning at least 154 meters in width.

What did he actually say? He fell from the sky, what freak of nature did they now have in their presence.

While look at all the bandits before him Taf had a wicked grin on his face while saying,

" Doesn't this bring back memories of the good old day?"

There the bandits stood in total disbelief before one of the few seemingly had enough. He then threw an emerald in Taf's direction before uttering,

"I don't know where the hell you came from kid, but get lost! Take that and go. You're getting in our way."

He attempted to shoo Taf away while gesticulating with his hands. Which was understandable as they awaited some guests who as yet have yet to arrive.

Taf then casually replied, "I'm truly sorry I'm such a disappointment but I will be the party providing the entertainment for today's proceedings, unfortunately. Let me introduce myself."

Taf then put his right hand to his mouth as he coughed,

"Eh em!

You're now in the presence of the one and only Mouse. I, however, tend to play better when a Sir precedes it. I am after all a gentleman."

Taf shameless spouted with a serious expression.

His audience was quiet for a few seconds stunned by his words before they all simultaneously burst into a chorus of laughter.

" I knew it!

This kid is a nut case. Must have fallen on his head a few seconds ago.

Tell me, kid, how many fingers am I holding up?"

One of the bandits held four fingers in the air which only fueled the laughter once more.

Crk!

"Ahhh!" The man screamed in agony as his four fingers were broken oddly backward within a flash by the youth with dreads. Taf then replied,

" Did you mean now? Pardon me, but i don't see any fingers. Guess I am truly as you say 'Nuts' "Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

The man continued to scream as Taf didn't stop by breaking his fingers but his whole hand made a cracking sound as all his bone were crushed in Taf's grip.

He screamed while begging for mercy for the youth who so callously referred to himself as Sir Mouse.

Yet, it was similar to hastily putting his head under a guillotine and asking not to be beheaded.

Soon smoke started escaping from Taf's grip with the smell of flesh being burnt lingering in the air.

His comrades were so stunned that they didn't know what to do. None saw when the youth who called himself Sir Mouse had even made a move.

" What a pity, huh? Now not even a hand remains."

Taf uttered as he released his grip and what the bandits saw would let anyone lose their appetite. It was chard repulsively disfigured stump take the place of where the man's hand use to be.

All momentarily took a step back as they observed Taf who with a flicker, disappeared. They all became nervous, frightened out of their minds as they wondered where could he be?

Crk!

All followed the breaking sound they heard. When the source of the noise was found they saw Taf's foot stamped down on the ankle of one of their comrades.

He was in such pain that not even a sound escapes from his mouth, only tears from his eyes.

" Trying to sneak off, are we? You should know no one leaves the Mouse without the proper reparations."

As Taf spoke he had a playful look on his face. This expression only made the group of men deemed as bandits shiver.

By his movements and the strength exerted they now knew this was an individual who could slaughter them all with ease.

What is the point of having a numeric advantage when you can't see your target?

This was no kid, he probably was some old bastard who still cherished his teenage looks. They seemingly came to the same conclusion as Kallen from the walls.

Wasn't this the only plausible assumption?

Even if they were told the truth, not even in a million years would they have believed it. Soon one of the bandits remembered his last word spoken, which was 'reparations'.

" Sir Mouse, before you mentioned reparations. Does this mean we can escape with our lives after offering something of significance?"

He questioned ensuring he addressed the fiend as he requested. Taf had a smirk on his face while he replied,

" Aren't you a smart fellow. You see, I'm quite principled.

We all make mistakes, right? So I'll offer you all this opportunity to well, how can I put this?

Hmmm, breath like all other living creatures do."

Hearing Taf words they all wondered how can a man with such strength be so shameless as to extort individuals such as themselves.

Did this man have no sense of professional ethics? There is an unwritten code among thieves. You don't rob a man while he is on the job.

How could the robbed continue in his profession when his reputation was so harshly tarnished? Wouldn't he then have to do the  'unthinkable' which was the make an honest living?

" Well, I see no one wants to depart from their belongings, huh?" Taf uttered as two small golden hammers were summoned to his hand. This jolted a reaction from the bandits who unwilling pulled their space pouches.

" Now I should perhaps disclose not all payments absolve one from say, a broken or dislocated limb. You all have done some unscrupulous acts in the past.

As a member of the prestigious Dark Abylis Sect, how could i possibly turn a blind eye, hmm? Isn't that simply tainting our reputation?"

Taf then righteously spoke.

They all cursed in their minds as it could be seen this man did not care about any of their previous misdeeds.

He simply wanted to bleed them dry and then boldly use the name of The Dark Abylis Sect to further his plot.

Plop!

the first pouch was thrown in his direction by a man though tall was seemingly meager. Taf took a moment to scan through before uttering,

" Is this really all you have?"

His question apparently offended the man as a vein began protruding on his forehead. Half of his live-savings were in that pouch, yet this man found it unsatisfactory.

If he had the strength he swore he would beat him to a pulp.

" Tell me, which of your hands do you wield your weapon with?"

Taf then asked a question off-topic which the man in question found peculiar. Yet he replied,

" I handle my sword with my right arm."

Hearing his reply Taf nodded his head before a cold gaze was given to the man.

Flicker..., Taf once more disappeared.

Crack!

Taf moved similar to the wind appearing before the man who was frozen in place as he looked at his right arm that was pulverized by one of Taf's hammers.

It happened so fast that the pain was not yet felt through the rest of his body as he screamed in anguish.

" Guess you'll need to start practicing with your left."

He then spoke dismissively allowing the man to leave with his wounded arm.

Taf then looked to the group as he once more addressed them while they all subconsciously took another step back.

" now think long and hard and ask yourselves this question.

How much are my limbs truly worth?"

With haste, they all summoned anything they previously hid. Some had earlier summoned one pouch but now there were two and even three.

After all the space pouches were quite limited in the cubic feet available. This meant that a person might have multiple on them at any given time.

They knew this fiend would not let them leave unharmed unless satisfied. However, this was better than death wasn't it?

One after the other they all left. Some were more fortunate than others and sustain little to no harm. While there were those who weren't so fortuitous and could barely crawl.

Seeing the last of the bandits leaving Taf had a smile on his face tallying what he had scored. Sure he could have massacred them with ease however this conflicted with his modus.

He had no qualms in pulverizing his victims. It would have been different if they had any form of killing intent towards him. That's always a death sentence in his book.

Looking in a direction devoid of any seeming movement. Taf hen asserted himself saying,

"Did you enjoy the show Chubby? How about you and your three underlings make your way out for little chat, huh.

I don't have all day."

To be continued...
