She was staring at his sleeping face for hours now. Oh, how her heart longs for him to wake up. How she wanted to see his mischievous chuckles and hear his naughty jokes again. She misses him badly.

When Caleb called, Lisa feared that she might not be able to see him forever. The gunshot that she heard made her heart stopped beating for a moment. She loved it when she heard Caleb's revelation. When he expressed his love towards her, her world seemed to stopped. She's been longing to hear those words from him.

Lisa might not admit it in the past but she already fell in love with him. She doesn't know how and when it begun but she started missing him even more. She was always excited to go to work just to see this shameless man.

Caleb was always taunting her but she got used to it. The last time she got jealous was when she thought Sophie was his fiancée. She even tried to link herself with other guy like Kian but still, her heart was longing for this damn man.

She smiled when she remembered Caleb's words. She suddenly made a face. Does he need to be in between life and death before he even confesses? Tsk! she scoffs.

She held Caleb's hand to her cheek. "Please wake up fast. I am dying to hear your crazy jokes again." She whispered.

After a few minutes, Sophie came in with a paper bag in her hands. Lisa jolted to where she was sitting.

"Sophie!" she stood surprisingly.

Sophie looked at her mischievously, "Hey, you don't have to hide it from me. I heard everything, remember?"

Lisa smiled in embarrassment.

"By the way, I got this clothes for you. take a shower and get a rest for a while. I'll watch him for the meantime." Then she handed the bag to her.

"Thank you." she smiled then she left the room.

Lisa went back to the room that Larry showed her. She took a bath and change into the clothes that Sophie gave her. Whoa! How did that woman knew her exact size? She's definitely something! then she rested for an hour.

As soon as she woke up, she went to the kitchen to help prepare for dinner. She was surprise to see people gathered in the dining table. What the heck is this? Is this dinner? Why does it feel like it's a mini underworld convention?!

Master Omni, Demetrius, Archedeus, Ethan, Shawn, even Sophie is present among them and three more guys. She hadn't meet these three people yet but where is Aisha? she can't see her everywhere. These guys look so serious. They were talking about some kind of bounty hunters and whoever that enemy who is lurking around them.

She knew that she doesn't have the right to meddle with this kind of affairs so she decided to help whoever is preparing the dinner. But she made sure to listen to their conversation somehow. She didn't understand some of their topic but she knew that whatever it is, they need to be careful enough.

Did she hear them right? Lisa trembled a little. Did they say that Aisha was not their only target but all the people around her? Ethan and Eli is in danger too? Then so is she!

Lisa helped prepare dinner. She was standing in the kitchen when Sophie called her out.

"Why are you standing there? join us." She pointed out the empty seat beside her.

"Thank you." she mumbled. The truth is, she is feeling shy. Looking at the people gathered in front of her makes her knees trembled. She doesn't feel like she belong. She doesn't have any idea as to what is happening in the world. She felt left alone.

She was silent all throughout the dinner. But she's been there to assist Eli since Ethan said that Aisha is still sleeping, might as well let her rest.

"Then I guess the preparation will be tomorrow since Aisha is not available tonight." Rio uttered while munching the chicken.

"We can wait. Her health comes first." Master Omni answered. They talked a little more before everyone stood up for bed.
Lisa waited for everyone to stand up before she did. However, Sophie didn't leave her. she helped her clean the table and wash the dishes as well.

"You should go and rest like the others. I can do this alone." Lisa uttered.

"Do you hate my presence that much?" Sophie was trying to joke but Lisa took it seriously.

"N-no! that's not what I mean. I'm sorry." She lowered her head. "I couldn't help you that much, might as well help you through these small things."

"Lisa, I hope you are not branding yourself as a useless woman just because you don't know how to fight."

Lisa was surprised. How did she know what she was thinking? Is she that obvious?!

"I-I …" Lisa's voice was breaking. Sophie is right. She felt useless and helpless earlier.

"Lisa, you're a nice woman and I know that you are good at everything you do. but not everyone is born to be good at everything. Not everyone was born with natural skills or abilities. Everything can be learnt. I'm telling you this not because I want you to train and be skillful like us. I am telling you this just so you could see your worth. You may not be born to fight, but you are born to be something else- something more unique. You'll understand what I mean once you see that distinctive skill that you have. That might save million lives someday."

Then she looked at her, "Also, being different from the others isn't a bad thing. It's actually an advantage." She gave out an encouraging smile.

Sophie tapped her shoulder then she took the stairway to her room. Lisa was left alone pondering what Sophie said.

"Something that I'm good at? Save lives using that unique ability? But what am I good at?" her thoughts were deep. After a few minutes, her phone rang. She jerked. She forgot that Sophie took her phone when she went to get some of Caleb's clothes.

She looked at the caller Id. Kian? Why is he calling her all of a sudden?

"Hello?"

"Lisa! How are you? I've been calling you for how many times now. Are you alright?" she can hear the concern in Kian's voice.

"I'm fine!" she chuckled. Lisa already accepted Kian as a friend. Kian was the one who was with her since Aisha allegedly died. He was always by her side, cheering her and even tried to make her happy during the time that she was mourning over Aisha.

"Where are you? I haven't seen you in the office for how many days now." she heard Kian asked on the other line.

"Oh that, I'm in a friend's house."

"Can I visit you there? just tell me the address."

"No! not now. things are a little messed up right now. I'll just see you once everything is fix."

"Tell me, I might be able to help." He offered.

"It's a long story. I'll tell it to you soon, okay?"

"Alright. Just don't forget to call me if you need my help, okay?"

"Got it. thanks!" Then Lisa hung up. She's a bit comfortable with Kian right now but she can't let him know about these things. It's not because she doesn't trust him but she is afraid that he might get shock about all the revelations. Maybe she'll tell him soon, but not now.

On the other hand, Kian placed his phone on the table before him then he faces the man who was waiting for the call to end.

"I'll be able to track their location now. I'll let you know tomorrow." He assured the old man.

"Okay, good. I'll leave everything to you then." The old man who was sitting on a rocking chair answered, "I never thought that woman would be useful as well."

"Of course, you should know by now that you can trust me on these things, right?" he smirked. the old man laughed evilly but he wasn't able to catch the sudden change in Kian's facial expression towards him.

Whoa! Wait! Is Kian a friend or an enemy?
