The letter envelope fell on the floor.
Lisa was about to leave the office when the letter addressed to Aisha fell on the floor. ah yeah! She forgot to give it to Aisha since they left the state. She wasn't able to hand it over to Ethan as well since his been busy for this past few days. He has to attend a business meeting in Russia for five days. Who knows when will he returns.
Lisa then decided to leave the letter to Dorothy. She's afraid that she might forget it again. Who knows what's on the letter? and what if its important? She encourage herself.
She was about to exit the building premises when Kian showed up in front of her. she was surprise to see him after a long time.
"Kian!" she exclaimed surprisingly.
"Hey, it's been a long time. how are you?" Kian replied.
"Still a bit busy." She confessed.
"As I can see. ha-ha!" He chuckled lightly. "Dinner? It's on me." he offered.
Lisa was a bit hesitant but she soon agreed. Then Kian opened the door to the passenger seat for the woman before he walks towards the driver side. He then drove to the nearest restaurant in town.
"So how's Caleb? I haven't seen him for how many weeks now." Kian started. Lisa was not surprise if Kian asked about Caleb since she already told him about their relationship status. To her surprise, Kian seems to be happy for them and looks like he supports their relationship with all his heart.
"His good and he won't be working here anymore. in fact, he is in the North State currently managing their family business." Lisa partly lied since she can't possibly tell him about their mission even though she considers Kian as a dear friend. She's afraid that Kian won't understand a thing. But she didn't notice the obscurity in his eyes.
"Ehm. That's good to hear." He fakes a smile. "How about boss Ethan? I heard about what happen to him during the art symposium." he inquired. "Is he alright?"
"Ah yeah. Thank Goodness nothing bad happened to him." Lisa exhaled a relief. She herself was worried when she heard about the explosion.
"Where is he? I haven't seen him these days."
"He attended a five-days business meeting abroad. He should be here by tomorrow." Lisa replied when her phone suddenly rang. She looks at the caller id and she smiled.
"Caleb, how are you?" She answered after excusing herself to Kian.
"Still good-looking as before." Lisa heard him laugh. Ah, he never changes. She sighed. "Well, I just called you to say happy monthsary babe! Sorry that I can't take you out for now. but I'll make sure to make up next time." he uttered guiltily.
"It's okay, I understand." She smiled. "Take care of yourself always, okay?"
"I will. I love you!" He whispered.
"I love you more." Caleb made sure to hear her sweet affirmation before he hung up. Then he returns to where the team was. He found them totally glued at Hunter's monitor seriously.
"Is everything okay?" he asked everyone.
"No!" Sophie replied right away. '
Then they heard Hunter breath a heavy sigh before facing them. 'I think we have a problem."
"What?" they asked in unison.
"All the surveillance camera situated at their secret hideout were all irresponsive. I don't why but we have to find out what happen before they find us first." Hunter explained.
"We also need to change our strategy. more of a change plan basically." They heard a suggestion from a woman who seems to be eating something. they turned around to see a woman scooping ice cream as she shoved it in her mouth. they creased a brow.
"Really? eating ice cream with this kind of weather?" Sophie protested since the temperature dropped a few weeks ago and everyone was wearing thick jackets.
She chuckled. "Don't you know, the way to combat cold is cold itself?"
Sophie rolled her eyes. no matter what they say, Aisha will always have her justification.
"Anyway, what do you mean by changing plans?" Caleb interrupted.
Aisha sat on the chair beside Hunter and placed her ice cream on the table. "I think we are not going anywhere by just waiting and monitoring the surveillance cameras. It's been a week but we didn't get anything." She paused.
"Aisha is right. we need to change our strategy." Shawn was convinced.
"So what do you suggest then?" Hunter butt in.
"I think we need to get inside the manufacturing sites and watch from the inside. Who knows there might be a secret passage underground." Shawn commented. Everyone is thinking about his suggestions when Aisha spoke.
"I agree with Shawn." She stood facing them. "Shawn, Hunter and Sophie, go to the site in Shilan and try to monitor the movements from the inside. Caleb and I will head to their secret hideout. We will find out why the cameras are not working."
"Copy!" Everyone yelled in unison.

Meanwhile, Stacy heard about the explosion in an event that Sherry and Silver attended but she cannot call Sherry since she's been in the hospital for the past few days. She also asked Johnny to check on her but failed since Silver imposed heavy security in front of her room.
No matter how Stacy wants to get out from the hotel, she's afraid that Silver might still be looking for her. Also, for the past few days, she's been feeling weak and dizzy but she refused to go to the hospital. the symptoms of her sickness looks like it's worsening so she needs to see her sister as soon as possible.
Then she remembered her promise to Sherry that when she successfully escapes, she will make sure to find out about Sherry's past life.
"Ah! The picture!" she remembered. Then she stood up to get the sealed envelope that Sherry placed in her bag the day before she escaped with Johnny. She must fulfill her promise to Sherry. She'll find out everything about her past.
But as she took a step, she blacks out unknowingly.
