"Hi! Did you say you want to give me something?" Lisa said to Kian when she met him outside the building. Kian was leaning on his red ford car, his hands on his pocket as he stared at the woman in front of him.
"Do you have a problem about my face?" Lisa asked.
"No. I was just mesmerized by your beauty." Kian smiled.
"You really know how to deal with women, huh." She grinned.
"I am telling the truth!"
"So what was that thing that you want to give me?"
"It's not a thing." He opened the passenger door as she signaled her to get in.

"Were will you take me?"
"That's a surprise!" Lisa is hesitating. If her instinct is right, Kian seems like he is inviting her into a date. Maybe a movie night or a dinner date. It's not that she doesn't like it but she doesn't want to give false hope to him. he seems like a good person—a friend. But she doesn't fully trust him yet.
"Are you perhaps afraid to go with me? Don't worry I won't hurt you." He promised.
"It's not that. I- I just need to be at home early today. I thought you will only give me something so I said yes." She lied. She's definitely anxious to go with him. Caleb's words are still on her head.
"Don't you trust me?"
"Yeah, right!" her thoughts want to speak up but she held it in. she just smiled then she went inside the car. Why not give him a chance? Caleb might be wrong about him. Kian grinned as he closed the door then headed to the driver seat. Kian drove off.

For the first time, he came down to the kitchen, but his aura is emitting gloominess inside the whole house.
Archedeus stared at Rio as he took a glass of hot water. He reached his Jasmine tea and pour an amount onto the hot water. He sat beside him.
"Do you want something to eat?" Archie inquired. Rio shook his head weakly.

"Don't you think you're becoming elusive this past days? Your daughter even visited you just for nothing! That woman, is she more important than your present life? She was your past! Dead or alive, it has nothing to do with you!"

"The annual symposium would be tomorrow night. if you still care about your daughter, at least fix yourself and attend that event." He continued.
"If you still care about her, then prepare yourself. Go on behalf of me." Rio didn't even face him.
"Rio." Archie looked at his retreating figure as he whispered his name, "Who knows if you will also see that woman there?" he shouted, Rio paused for a bit then he went inside his room not caring about Archie's words.
He finished editing his article. He looked at it with pride.

"Jess, about the article that you sent. Can you send us more pictures of it? Also the video, we need it." The woman on the other phone ordered.
Jess chuckled, "Sandra, you know that nothing is free right?"
"Just name the price. You'll see it on your account as soon as tomorrow." She stated.
"I'll send you the things that you're asking as soon as I received an email confirmation of your payment. You should know that you are not just the company eyeing for my discoveries, right?"
