“An-Xia-Xia.” He said her name one syllable at a time, sounding unexpectedly serious.
An Xiaxia cringed uneasily, but he held her by her shoulders and forced her to look into his eyes.
“Are you that afraid of me?” His voice sounded hoarse.
An Xiaxia was speechless. Who wouldn’t be? He was such a devil!
“Let go of me and let’s talk like civil people…” She pushed Qi Yanxi with all her might, but he sat there like a wall made of steel. She was busting her arse and he remained where he was.
Her clear eyes were now filled with panic as she looked at him in utter confusion.
Qi Yanxi’s eyes seemed to turn darker and they flickered with an incomprehensible light.
He moved closer to An Xiaxia’s little face and she could feel his warm breath on her skin, which alarmed her right away.

He was holding her chin between his fingers with a little too much strength that she began to wail in pain.
Qi Yanxi smiled with satisfaction. He was about to press his lips to hers when a whooshing sound came from behind and someone grabbed his collar forcibly, shaking him off An Xiaxia.
Qi Yanxi stumbled and almost lost his footing. Looking up, he saw that it was Sheng Yize!
Sheng Yize was giving off a detached and intimidating air. Pressing his thin lips tightly together, he glanced at An Xiaxia, who was still sitting on the bed with flushed cheeks. He clenched his fists involuntarily.
“Angry, are we? Hoho, Sheng Yize, did you expect something like this today when you stole my girlfriend back then?” Seeing Sheng Yize here, Qi Yanxi was surprised for a second, but he put on his roguish smile soon enough, which looked rather irritating.
Sheng Yize threw a punch at him and the two went down in a tussle, which made An Xiaxia scream.

He fell to the ground with blood oozing out of the corner of his mouth. He drew in a painful breath.
Sheng Yize picked up a chair and was going to smash it onto Qi Yanxi when An Xiaxia wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.
She had climbed down from the bed when they weren’t looking. Frightened to death as she was, she had to stop him no matter what!
“Sheng Yize, stop…” He would kill someone if he didn’t!
Chest heaving, Sheng Yize looked at the pale-faced An Xiaxia in his arms. His pupils contracted and he threw down the chair.
An Xiaxia let out a breath of relief. Her wrist was then clenched in Sheng Yize’s hand and he began to drag her out of the infirmary without a word.
“Don’t walk so fast… mhm, Sheng Yize, where are you taking me?”
Inside, Qi Yanxi wiped the blood off his mouth with his slender fingers and sighed. “Too bad, I haven’t even kissed her…”
