“You’ll see tonight~” An Xiaxia wanted to keep him guessing.

After washing up, the two lay in bed. An Xiaxia used Sheng Yize’s arm as her pillow as they watched a cartoon on the children’s channel.

When it was finally twelve o’clock, An Xiaxia climbed out of bed and took an exquisite box out of her bag. She then handed it to Sheng Yize with a smile.

“Happy birthday!” An Xiaxia said loudly. She checked the time on her phone. “It’s exactly twelve o’clock now! The vocalist born on Chinese New Year’s Eve, I wish you a happy new year~”
Outside, someone had set off fireworks. A million stars seemed to shoot straight up, lighting up a corner of the dark sky.
All the glitter and sparkles out there were nothing compared with the bright eyes of the teenage girl in front of him.
Sheng Yize’s heart skipped a beat. He pulled the girl into his arms, pressed his mouth to hers, and sucked on her lips.
An Xiaxia struggled a little. She then recalled Li Canxing’s words that afternoon and felt a stabbing pain in her chest.
