Malika.

7:45 pm.

She went to the balcony trying to calm down. She rested her hands on the balcony railing and took a deep breath. She closed her eyes tightly. "How is it possible?! how?!" she whispered to herself.

"MALIKA," a female voice screamed astounded her, she hastily opened her eyes and her jaw dropped; she saw a woman standing next to the pool. Malika narrowed her eyes trying to see her clearly, but the dim lighting of the backyard garden only manifested her long bright red hair that covered her chest till her waist, her deep burgundy colored lips and her loose white long dress with long sleeves. "Malika," the voice said again. Malika was muddled, she saw the mystery woman's lips moving but her voice was clearly heard inside her head.

She looked over at the right side of the backyard where the security men were standing, her mind swirled in more confusion; the two men were completely frozen. Neither of them was moving or even breathing, Malika switched her sight again to the odd woman. "Remember… sword," the voice said again yet this time calmer and steady.

Malika felt a trigger inside her heart followed by a strong punch on her right shoulder. Malika startled and looked to the right to find Farah looking at her frowning. "Are you okay? Your face is yellow like a lemon."

"I'm fine but you guys…" she stopped and looked at the backyard garden; it was completely empty. She took a deep breath then looked again at Farah. "if it really true all of you are fucked up!" Malika said with one hand pointed at Farah and the other hand holding the balcony metal railing tightly.

"What are you talking about?" Farah asked.

"I didn't remember anything at first but… it makes sense somehow," Malika said and looked at her feet trying to find words to describe what she was thinking of. "it will get you guys one by one; it starts with Donggun… but I don't know why I got this or what am I supposed to do?!"

"Donggun? Noah's father?" Farah said, frowning.

"It will come to you! And Noah!" Malika said without lifting her eyes from the ground.

"What are you talking about?"

"It will happen to you now as it did before! We need to stop it!"

"Stop what?!"

"It might be nothing! Just a story! A myth! Right?" Malika said and finally looked at her. "It will change everything… it will destroy everything." Malika breathed deeply and took a step closer to Farah then said, "Is there anything odd happened to you lately?"

Malika's word evoked something in Farah, she felt the need to tell her what happened to her yesterday; to tell her what she saw. She knew it would sound crazy and out of this world yet what she learned was indeed out of this world.

She opened her mouth to tell Malika everything, but words got stuck in her lungs. It nearly felt like chocking her; her soul knew exactly what happened, but her mind couldn't proceed with the words. "Mal… is it normal to have the same nightmare?" she found herself thinking of one thing only; her repeated nightmare.

Malika looked at her in concern, she was afraid that Farah would tell her what she already knew. "Why? Do you have repeated nightmares?"

"It's properly nothing," Farah said and waved her hands. Malika's stare was intense, waiting for her to continue. "I don't remember much but it felt real somehow… someone was choking me and calling me a murderer, but it was in a weird language I don't know how I understood him, but I did… and there was another man behind him, it looked like that he was trying to stop him but couldn't."

That nightmare always dreaded Farah yet it wasn't what she wanted to tell her. She tried again to open her mouth and the choking feeling came along forcing her to stop.

Malika opened her eyes widely and felt like the whole place around her was moving slowly. "Did you see the man's face?! Or the other one behind him?!"

Farah's mind swirled easily to the nightmare remembering every little detail. "It wasn't clear… I think it was a little dark and there was a bunch of candles lighting the place but the one who was choking me was wearing a necklace that looked very familiar… he had a tattoo… a glowing black one on his left forearm with a weird symbol."

"Oh, shit," Malika whispered to herself. "What type of necklace?!"

"Similar to the one you had earlier… But that's not the weird part—"

"What is?"

"—every time I wake up from this nightmare… I wake up out of breath and with hand marks around my neck, I know I sound crazy, but I don't know if I choke myself or what."

"How often do you have this dream?"

"Well…" Farah looked at the floor trying to recall her memory. "I think it has been like this for the past eight years."

"Oh my god!! Every day for eight years!!" Malika gasped.

"Not every day; it's like seven times in total."

Malika started walking back and forth and mumbling cursing words. "We can't wait till tomorrow!" her voice was raucous. "I knew it's true! It really happened! We must go to the airport now! We have to fix it before it's too late!"

"Now!" Farah said shockingly and before she could say anything else Malika grabbed her hand and dragged her outside.
