Everyone is shocked at what happened, how ridiculous that a pillar would fall and kill the person making the speech to welcome the Blue Eyes White Tiger or whatever. It was almost comical how the entire thing happened.
Regardless, none of the villagers had registered the death of their 'leader' or the fall of the pillar in their minds as they were inside of an illusion formation. They started to slit their wrists again and continued chanting as if nothing had ever happened, and then another man stood up to take the place of the fallen man, starting the ceremony to welcome the Black Tiger Lord all over again.
"Great Black Tiger Lord! Please Grace us with your presence!" He yelled out and then he started kneeling on the ground, with his head touching the floor.
"They are summoning a monster king?" Judge Tang said softly in shock as the air around us grew stale. Soon, the blood that was spilt all over the floor started to flow towards the front of the villagers and rose up vertically in the air. Soon it resembled a blood pool that was standing vertically in the air.

The blood pool that now resembles a portal cracked and pieces of solidified blood slowly dropped off. A black void could be seen from where the pieces fell off and soon, we could see an arm with black fur and white stripes stretching out from the portal. Its actions seem to resemble someone struggling who is struggling to climb out of a hole.
The mayor's house was already completely in flames and there was no way we could get in unless we had some kind of immunity or high resistance to the flames. I cannot help but think to myself what a bunch of crazy people these villagers are.
As more and more flaming pieces of the roof fell to the ground, more and more of the villagers that were involved in the monster summoning would be hit by the debris and eventually burned to death, screaming in pain.
"Hahahahahah! Another dumb monster had answered our summoning! We can acquire the method to break into the realm of Meridian Forming from him! Soon we will take over this crappy empire and become the kings of the world!" one of the crazed villagers started shouting happily.
Ah! Hearing that, it becomes clear why they are doing this.
"They are getting cultivation techniques from the monsters?" Liu Kang who is the most simple minded among us exclaims in surprise.
Half of the Black Tiger Lord's body could already be seen and one of the female villagers started shouting "It is time! Use the Soul Capture technique on it now!"
The villagers started channelling their qi towards her and she formed a claw with her right hand and put her entire right arm into the black portal while executing the Soul Capture technique.
"A soul taming technique!" Judge Cui exclaimed in shock.
"It is not strong enough! There are far too few people to give her the amount of qi she would need to force the monster king into submission." Judge Tang said as he shook his head.
"Everyone get ready to engage and kill the tiger. He will probably run out the burning house once he is out from the portal. Shi er, you should retreat, it will be dangerous." Judge Tang gives a command as he withdraws a sword from his spatial ring.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the female villager shouts as she utilizes all her strength to pull the monster king out of the black portal. Soon, the tiger head could be seen and she formed another claw with her left hand and placed it on the tiger's head. She now has both her hands on the head of the tiger and the rest of the villagers are channelling their qi into her.
"ROARRRRRR! You wretched humans! How dare you summon me and then try to enslave me! ROARRRR" the tiger roars loudly, causing the house to shake and more debris to fall. The tiger swung his arms randomly in pain and it eventually knocked the female villager who was grabbing his head up into the air. She spat out blood as she landed on the ground.
"The soulfire has successfully planted itself within the Great Black Tiger Lord's soul!" The female villager excited shouted as she gathered all her strength to stand up and approach the tiger again.
"ROAARRRRR! What have you done to me, you despicable humans!? Why does my soul hurt!" The tiger roared in pain as its body was visibly shivering and its movement became faster and stronger as it did its best to leave the portal.
Before she could grab the tiger again and continue executing the <Soul Capture> technique on it, the tiger successfully escapes from the portal and lunges forward at the female villager and its arm pierces through her chest, killing her immediately.
"RAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRR" the tiger roars loudly at the sky. Qi whirls around the tiger and the tiger starts killing the villager. It only requires one attack for the tiger to kill a villager and each movement it makes is done to slaughter them efficiently.
"Everyone get in formation now! Shi er, get back now!" Judge Cui shouts.
The tiger hears the shout and his eyes are blood red right now. It must be the pain from its soul being burned by the <Soul Capture> technique and the humiliation it feels when the humans who summoned it tried to tame it. It turns its head and gives us a stare but then resumes it's killing of the villagers. Every swipe of its claw results in a villager being killed.
Everyone's grip on their weapon tightens when they witnessed the tiger looking at them. I quickly move back to give them space to fight. It is clear that they never considered me a fighting force and I guess it was because they were not aware that I had already become a qi flow realm cultivator and I never had any experience in fighting as a group.
The battle formation was set up quickly. Zhuge Pang who was a shield bearer took the front position, while Liu Kang, now armed with his battle gauntlets took the wing positions behind Zhuge Pang with Ding Sha opposite him. Judge Cui and Judge Tang who uses swords and are probably the strongest took the middle position, while Zhao Keng stood in front of Mo Di and Sima Di at the back with his long spear.
When the formation was finished, the tiger was already moving towards the last villager and with a swipe; the tiger's claws separated the villager's body into two. With all the villagers dead, the Tiger slowly turned his head towards us as the house seemed to burn brighter with all the blood that has been shed.
"Are you done getting into formation? Because I am coming at you right now." The tiger says slowly and calmly as he gives us a creepy smile. With a height of around 250cm, the tiger is hunched in a fighting stance. He puts power into his right leg which is front and with a single movement; he does a powerful and fast lunge towards Zhuge Pang.
The lunge created enough force to completely bring down the burning roof and flames burned brighter, the fight with the Great Black Tiger Lord officially starts!
