Haruhiro whined as he looked over at the two ladies in front of him. They both looked so happy that he can't bear to break it up. It was a good thing they got hungry and tired. The two decided to quickly go and eat in a nearby restaurant.
"I'll go and powder my nose for a bit. The two of you order for our food."
Nanako hurried off to the restroom after sayin that. Her face lacking a bit of colour but Haruhiro just associated it with her tiredness.
Anna and Haruhiro looked at each other. There is this awkwardness between them that wasn't there when Nanako was present. They avoided each other's gaze and waited in awkward silence.
They're in the corner of the restaurant since they wanted to remain inconspicuous. Both Anna and Nanako would attract too much attention wherever they go so staying in a corner like this would somehow alleviate their troubles.
There isn't that much people since this is the usual time when people are either on school or are working.
It is a fast food restaurant since Nanako said she wanted to try some more of it. Being born in a rich family, she rarely ever went into places such as this.
A few seconds passed and finally Haruhiro decided to speak. "Anna. Have you considered what I told you about?"
During the three days that have passed he didn't idly lied down on his bed. He decided to tell Anna almost everything. During his first day in the hospital, Anna came back during the evening. It was then that he told her about his plan and the reason why he wants to do it.
Looking at the teenage girl in front of him, his eyes looking at her with warmth as she excitedly talked about her day. Listening to her stories made Haurhiro remember the girls that took care of him back then.
"Anna, there's something I need to tell you. This is going to sound crazy but I promise you it's real."
Hearing the seriousness in his tone, Anna's facial expression changed from being carefree to being serious.
Seeing that, he started to tell her that there's been certain changes with his body. He told her how his body grew stronger and how he saw a vision of an event that will soon happen.
This event is the apocalypse. He told her how the world will end, how society will collapse and how humanity will react after this collapse. He told her about the sufferings one might suffer of those without power.
Haruhiro also told her about the abilities that he got. A System that allows him to level up through missions and get stronger. He also said to her how he got all this by saying that his soul mixed with a soul from the future. Because of how weak the soul was he was able to absorb the soul and his ability, memories and strength became his.
He also told her his new missions and how he plans to complete this said missions. What he said of course shocked Anna.
She listened to him intently. Anna knows how serious this matter is by looking at his knitted brows but when he started talking about the apocalypse and souls. She doubted him and thought that he was playing a trick on her.
However that doubt was soon replaced by trust. She thought to herself how even if this wasn't real or how this wasn't the whole truth, from the moment they kissed and told each other how they felt she'd always stand by his side.
Just like all those years ago when he stood by her side whenever she felt sadness over being abandoned by her real parents. How he'd comfort her and hug her, remembering that warmth she smiled. She remembers every single thing that's happened over the years and can't help feeling a lot of emotions.
However, Haruhiro didn't notice the myriad of emotions showing in her eyes. He thought her silence neant that she doubted him so he gave her some time to think about it.
Now, he's waiting for her reply. He doesn't know what he's feeling right now. All that he knows is that chest is aching and he may probably be anxious. Haruhiro found the wait difficult since he wishes to know if the person he loves believes in him.
"Of course I'll help you Haru. What kind of girlfriend would I be if I don't help my boyfriend?"
Whilst saying that, Anna's face reddened so much that she looked like she would overheat from the embarrassment. Seeing her like this, Haruhiro found her quite adorable. He held her free hand on top of the table and spoke.
"I'm glad you believe me. I didn't know what I'd do if you decided that I went crazy because of getting beaten up."
"Sorry I made you worry. Now, how long do we have before it starts?"
Anna is of course asking how long is the time they have before the apocalypse starts. Haruhiro replied by looking at the mission tab and telling her, "Around a week and a half."
"It looks like we'll have to disappoint mom regarding that vacation."
"We can always go somewhere fun once everything is stable. To the beach, the mountains. Anywhere. As long as it's with you and Nanako-san then we'd be fine."
Hearing him say that Anna's beet red face looked even more brighter. It was then that Nanako came out of nowhere sat beside Haruhiro and hugged his left arm burying it in her abundant breasts.

A 19-20 years old female cashier stood behind the register. Her black wavy hair reaches up to the top of her shoulders, she has a small smile plastered on that adorable cute face of hers.
