After knocking Lorne through the wall, General Maek relieved a great deal of his anger. He was embarrassed such a low ranked fighter gave him such a hard time. Nothing was moving from the rubble.
"Perhaps I killed him? I planned to keep him alive, but whatever," General Maek said to himself.
Just as he was about to head to Tower, the rubble began to shift and finally it exploded. A golden aura shown around Lorne's body as he levitated out of the debris.
At first, General Maek just thought Lorne was being stubborn, but then he felt his aura and it seemed like his power level was increasing crazily!
He watched as Lorne was covered in golden dragon scales, his face became less human and more dragon like, and then he saw an extra arm appear in the center of Lorne's chest.
He was shifting into his battle form, a five clawed golden dragon man, the Invincible Dragon had returned!
The energy impulses continued to intensify and Lorne felt his power skyrocket. BS42 predicted Lorne's maximum strength in this form would be double his normal form.
BS42 grossly underestimated the potential of the Dragon Warrior form! Lorne was now ten times stronger than before and his power continued to soar. He was becoming so strong he was starting to worry he might become too strong. He didn't want to become so strong he would accidentally forcibly ascend to a higher plane again, but maybe he had no choice in the matter.
There was no telling how strong the Fiend General was. He needed his maximum strength if he was going to save this world.
In his previous life, Lorne was a dragon man, the dragon man body was as good as a Zimwarn warrior body since it had many natural abilities paralleling the Zimwarn body. The DNA of the body was easily integrated with the Zimwarn and Wu Di genetics. Lorne was actually a hybrid of a five claw golden dragon and a member of the invincible Wu Di race.
The Wu Di race gave Lorne the ability to understand, see, and modify the energy paths within his body and even allowed him to perfect skills, techniques, formations, and had many other uses. Combining Two peerless warrior bodies plus the Wu Di body which was gifted in energy manipulation and cultivation created a body which was a monster among monsters, even in the new world.
When BS42 combined these genetics he was actually trying to perfectly integrate the three body types and for the most part he succeeded. However, Lorne's new Zimwarn body was unique. His basic form certainly integrated the three racial genes together, but the maximum strength of those genes wasn't able to fully express the potential of his body. Only by switching into an invincible dragon form could he release the great potential of the body.
Unfortunately, this turned out to be difficult. The method of transformation utilized Lorne's Zimwarn shape shifting abilities. BS42 only had limited success with using those abilities to fully express the dragon form. The pressure of the Fiend General gave BS42 the push he needed to find the best way to activate the form and fix the problem of the transformation abilities not working correctly in this world.
It turned out, this world placed heavy restrictions on all of Lorne's abilities even his shape shifting abilities. What BS42 finally discovered was just like his other abilities, the shape shifting abilities needed to be "upgraded" to work correctly in this new world. The ability wasn't strong enough. BS42 used the time of Lorne's desperate fight to strengthen the ability enough so it was able to activate the dragonization.
The only question everyone was left with now was just how strong Lorne became and the second question was of course, was it enough?
Lorne flexed his muscles and looked as his hand as he tightened his fist. He felt unbelievable power coursing through his muscles. It felt as if he could crush and break even the physical laws of the universe. That's how powerful he felt!
Finally satisfied with his new strength, which finally finished increasing, Lorne looked towards his opponent and looked him in the eyes.
"Let's try this again," Lorne said aggressively.
He always felt more aggressive and arrogant in his dragon form.
Lorne disappeared by use of his super speed, even the Fiend General Maek couldn't track Lorne's movements. Lorne appeared behind the general and sliced at the back of the head of the General using a knife hand strike.
Even though the General couldn't see where Lorne moved to he was still a Fiend General with eons of fighting experience. He blocked Lorne's attack and threw a punch in response. Lorne ducked the punch and as he spun out of the way, his tail crashed into the General who was knocked flying!
The General quickly recovered and attacked once more using a ki blast to try and do some damage. The scales on Lorne's body deflected and dispersed the power of the attack. The heat from the attack was absorbed as energy into Lorne's body.
This was one of the great new abilities his new Dragon Warrior body developed. Using the dragon scales which have extremely high resistance to both physical and energy attacks, Lorne's Wu Di genes were able to absorb the excess energy into Lorne's body and transform it into energy he could use to strengthen or replenish his own lost energy.
Both Lorne and the Fiend General disappeared and reappeared at certain points. Savage hits landed but neither of the fighters seemed wounded at all. Lorne's dragon form could also absorb the kinetic energy of punches through the scales. Piercing and cutting weapons didn't work on Lorne either as the Fiend General pulled a few out. A couple of his weapons even broke!
The intensity of the battle only grew moment by moment. Lorne attacked with both his Laser Vision and his dragon breath attacks. Using his Ridarn Vision, Lorne once again aimed at critical points on the Fiend General's body trying to cause as much internal damage as possible.
Once again, this technique of Lorne's, above all others, enraged the Fiend General.
Getting through the defenses of the General, Lorne used his claws to slash the General across the face and chest. His His super sharp nails were able to finally break the skin on the General's face and draw blood.
"I wonder how long it's been since someone drew blood from me?" screamed the Fiend General Maek who seemed even more intent on the battle.
In spite of the damage he was receiving, the General was not bothered by anything Loren did against him already. Fiend's could enter a berserk state when things were a matter of life and death. These struggles could pull out the hidden potential that layed within them.
General Maek's problem wasn't that he needed to pull out his potential to make him strong. His strength was severely restricted because if he didn't restrict his strength he would destroy this realm. Although what would actually happen is before he could destroy the realm he would be removed from the realm and never able to return to it.
For General Maek to increase his strength required a very delicate tweaking. Lorne's strength wasn't yet at a point where he could ascend. It was very high and currently he was stronger than the General.
The General was completely furious, he knew Lorne wasn't really his match, but he didn't have a chance to up his strength due to Lorne's relentless attacks. Lorne didn't realize the General was a descender; he believed it was better to attack his enemy with all of his strength and not give him a chance to turn things around.
