A new day has begun.

Over the past couple of months, my life has been filled with a series of repeats. First I had film shooting, then I had interviews and picturials in the afternoon, and more shooting in the evening, over the weekends were defense classes and the occasional GM shooting.

My life was full.

Looking at this day on my calender filled with nothing, was like a man in the dessert finding water.

It is said that all good things comes in pairs.

Hora, also has today off and because she longs for the Busan sea.

We have planned to go to the beach, hold hands and idle around.

What's more, Hora might even wear a swimsuit!

How lucky can a guy get!?

I woke up really early today, can you tell how excited I am?

After I get dressed and pack snacks for the drive that is 2 and a half hours away.

Picking Hora up at the dorm, where she stays during the week when classes run into the late evening.

She looks really cute, with her clear round framed glasses on and her hair hanging loose.

While not the typical flower girl style I expected, I must say, she looks very comfortable and free.

She has with her a small branded backpack which suits her style.

She is also wearing a black baseball cap that has a well known tick mark on its front. Really giving off the hot summer girl vibe.

Afterwords she throws her bag in the back seat and enters the passenger seat.

"Goodmorning Baechu, you have everything you need?" I ask as she is putting on her seat belt.

Smilingly she answers me, "Morning to you too, Mr national sweetheart." She says with a tone of sourness, I guess the first episode of GM must have aired.

"Did I not explain, it was just acting?"

Shaking her head poutingly, " Oh, then why don't I know that my boyfriend and I broke up a year ago?"

"Come on, they asked when I last dated, I said a year ago. Which is true, we have been dating for almost a year now. And next year, it will be two years ago." I say cutely proceeding to give her a peck on the cheek.

"Whatever, Idiot" She says but I can tell she is warming up. "let's just go!"

Thankfully once that bit of jealousy passes, we have a bright start to our journey catching up with our daily lives and singing along to some of our favourite tunes.

Hora however, has never been one for a long car ride and quickly grows tired, before I know it she's out light a light.

The rest of the drive is peaceful. With the windows slightly rolled down and the light breeze coming through. The contrast between the always busy city life and the tranquil serene coast.

Once we reach our destination, I take off my seat belt and proceed to open the passenger side door and unbuckle her from hers.

Softly I whisper into her ear, "It's time to get up now, sleeping beauty"

"Stoop It's ticklish" She mumbles

"Come, let's go get something to eat."

Groggily she stretches her arms and shakes her body. Slowly she gets up and adjusts herself to the surroundings.

We proceed to the Korean fish market. Looking for a shop we can sit down at. After passing a couple vendors, we enter a quint little store that's relatively old but loved. It has the family owned and run feel to it.

A kind looking old lady comes to take our orders and not long thereafter table is filled with various dishes making up a traditional Korean breakfast. Spicy seafood salad, bean sprout rice , spicy stewed fish, cold cucumber soup, seasoned kelp, and radish strip kimchi.

It may seem like a lot but its served in very moderate portions.

"Thank you for the meal!" I clasp my hands together and begin to dig in.

Hora's little carnivorous mode is once more activated and we finish breakfast in record time.

Satisfied and well-fed, I thank the ahjumma and we make our way through the market taking in all the sights and sounds. We decide to come back later to buy some souvenirs for Hora's parents and my guardian while we are here.

"Want to take a walk on the beach to digest the food?"

She nods her her head in agreement and we make our way down to the coast.

The sea in the Korean spring is quite attractive.

It felt very comfortable to walk on cool soft sand barefoot. Sometimes when one entered the boundary of the waves, the cold water would provide a refreshing jolt when it brushes up against the body.

Walking along the beach the stimulating tide water washes against our bare feet gently, retreating silently the only trace of its existence that is left is two pairs of footprints, one small and one big left on the sand before even that is washed away on it's next visit.

The sea breeze causes a wisp of Irene's hair to cover her forehead. Looking at her profile, I can't help but admire her beauty once again. I stretch my hand out unconsciously and pin the hair which has escaped from her cap behind her ear.

Hora, who looks less scomfortable with my sudden acts of skinship due to our time apart. Has her eyes wide open clearly caught unprepared for my sudden attack. Amuzed by this cute expression, I grin shamelessly and stretch out my arm and hook her hand with my index finger before holding it.

Gently pulling her closer as we walk. As our fingers are lazed together I once more notice that her hands are much smaller than mine but fits in mine perfectly.
