.......

If you had one wish would you have all the money in the world or all the power in the world?

He had been asked this question a few times in his life before, the question in itself is quite simple but its dimensions and layers upon layers of dept creates its complexity. Well, for me at least.

See the thing is, if you indeed were given this one wish that indeed came true, would you wish for something for yourself or for the greater good of mankind? Would you waste it for money or for fame? Or use it to change something in the world that could carry on for countless generations? And there lays the complexity of such a question.

What decision will you ultimately make if you had this limited yet valuable power?

Selfish me would wish for all the money in the world or to gain immediate success. Yet why waste a wish on something that I could achieve myself if I worked for it? It would be tougher and longer but I'll get there eventually. So scratch that.

Now selfless me would wish for world peace, where governments rid themselves of corruption, and humanity rid themselves of slavery, inequality and greed. We'd all like that. And given the global turn of event's and negative headlines splashed all across the news, who wouldn't want to wish for a better world. A world without sin..

Selfish or selfless me? Selfless me clearly seems to be winning. So why can't I still make a final decision? Come to think of it I don't think I'll ever have a definite answer. See the thing is, a world without sin, without evil is purely impossible.

Even if we were to wish it, humanity would never evolve.

We become stronger when we have gone through suffering one way or another. It's in our nature. We have to fall down to get back up again. I am not saying that global conflicts are a good thing. I am merely stating that in some way, it contributes to development. And that's why I can't just wish for that even if I was granted a wish. It's too complicated.

So, as corny as it may sound, be careful what you wish for because a wish isn't as simple as it's cut out to be.

Turning back to the documents, I find myself confused. Its not nearly as earth shattering as I expected.

"With this… I have enough to tear them all to the ground" He says with utmost confidence

From what I can tell these are secrets, the type people will kill for. The type that can destroy a politician's career.

But … that's it.

Nothing powerful enough to tear down a family older than the Industrial revolution itself.

"How do you plan to do that?" I find myself asking

"By any means necessary. You probably already know, seeing how much smarter you've become but S group is no longer clean. We are filled with darkness. I've bribed, I've threatened, I've blackmailed.

And all is finally ready for me to get revenge."

I can't see his big picture. But I know one thing for sure, whatever he has planned, is not going to work.

You don't catch the person in first place by running at his pace. You overtake him by changing the direction of the race and watch as they crash and burn.

Taking a long look into his bloodshot eyes, I recognise that crazy look. It's the look of a man who has a goal and will do everything to get it.

Much like the question posed earlier, he has made his wish, it has finally been granted.

But I guess, only time will tell whether it was what he really …. wanted.

Sighing softly, I turn to my right, where I finally notice a framed picture, it's Suk Lee, with a man and a female.

The look extremely familiar, familial even.

Seeing my stare, he says, "Those are your parents. I guess you don't have any pictures of them from that time"

Suzy Rothschild and Minho Park.

Two people, I never met in this life

However, what catches me, is the inscription, which reads; "Forever together"

How…. Poetic. Fate is really a cruel mistress.

Seeing that fate has a plan, I resign myself and decide to gamble.

"Fine…. I will trade you the 21% of Shares you need."

"Really?" He looks at me in expectation.

"In exchange …. You give me the mobile division and …. This picture"

"The mobile division is not worth even half…"

"Uncle … take my offer and do what needs to be done. I will trust you this time. But if you fail… I will do it myself. And to that … I need the mobile division."

"Okay" He says as he nods his head. "Your parents…. Suzy… I will get back everything that is supposed to be yours"

"Goodluck Uncle" I say as I offer him a firm handshake and swiftly leave his office and exit the building.

Offering once last look at the company, a slight smile fills my face.

Soon two giants will go to war. Should make for interesting watching.

But not before taking out my cell phone and calling a number,

"Mr. Jobs …. You don't know me but I have an offer."
