Jessy sneaked into Hannah's room. She was still not in her room. They need to switch appearance now! The doctor will be taking lots of her blood today, the first 50 vampires will be transfused with her blood in the next 24 hours. It will be the first batch of its number that can determine the overall success of the blood transfusion.

The door to the room opened...

Hannah sprinted inside in a hurry.

Finally! Jessy felt relieved.

As much as possible, she wants to finish the whole blood transfusion thing so that she can be free of her responsibility. She wants to travel the world and don't want to get tied up inside the Facility for a long time.

She immediately grabs Hannah's hand and using her power she began switching their image, immediately they were back to their old self.

"I will go now," said Jessy.

"Okay. They are waiting for you in the clinic. I am worried, what's gonna happen to you, will your body be able to withstand the loss of too much blood?" she said.

Jessy patted Hanna's arms. "Don't worry it's just blood, it's not going to kill me."

She exited Hannah's room and walked towards the clinic.

When she entered the clinic, 3 vampires were waiting inside and another 40 on the outside.

The doctor explained that the blood needs to be freshly transfused into the vampire's body for maximum effect.

Two beds were placed side by side. Jessie lay down on one of the bed and closed her eyes, the doctor starts doing the blood transfusion process trying to find the veins in her arms to insert the needle, finally, Jessy felt the prick of the needle tore into her skin. As the blood was pouring out of her body and being transferred to another vampire she was thinking of Adam.

Where is he now?

Adam... can you hear me? She was trying to communicate with him through her consciousness. Unfortunately, she can't make any contact with him. He was not responding and she wasn't even sure if it is possible to establish mental contact with him.

Two hours later...

The first five vampires were already successfully transfused with her blood. She was trying to asses if her body was weakening due to so much blood taken out from her body.

"Jessy, you have to tell me if your body can't take it anymore. You will take a rest first after one hour then we will resume the same process again."

"Yes, Doc. As of now am freaking thirsty! I need to go to the canteen upstairs and grab some food and drinks," she said.

"No need to go out, we can send someone upstairs to bring you human food here. Just tell us what you want," said the doctor.

"Just bring my mother to me, Doc. I will tell her what foods I want."

The doctor nodded. "Okay, I will have somebody call her right now."

"Wait... Doc, what happened to the first batch of vampires that was being transfused with my blood?" she asked with curiosity in her voice.

"They are doing well in the other room. There will be 7 days waiting period before we can finally conclude that the first batch has been successfully transformed into human beings. In the meantime, it's gonna be a wait and see if the process, is effective" replied the physician.

"Okay, I hope it will be successful so that we all can transfer to our new home," she said.

The doctor nodded his head. "Yes. The sooner we finish blood transfusion the better but 5k vampires is a lot too much, we will try to discover a way how to speed up the process so that we all can get out of here the soonest possible time," he said.

Jessy sighed and voiced out her suggestion...

"We will focus on the old and young first, then the teens and adults next, we still need the adults to have their powers preserved so that they can help ward off the enemies just in case the facility will be attacked by anyone, it's going to be a bloody war. Surviving inside this facility does not guarantee full safety for us, we can be nuked here anytime without prior knowledge," she said. "But once all vampires finally transform into human beings our enemies can no longer touch us, they won't kill their kind without justified reason," she said.

"It would have been good if the anti-vampire vaccine has not been created, we would have been roaming the world freely instead of being trapped in this facility. We now become the hunted instead of the hunter," the doctor said.

"The vampires existence on earth was now hanging by a thread, human technology is very much advanced now, the worst thing, if one day they can manage to create a deadly substance and mixed it with the air that we breathe... once we inhale the air... we all be dead, they don't even have to lift a finger just to kill the remaining vampires," the doctor added. "Well, you are the exemption you won't be affected because you're human," the doctor commented.

Jessy closed her eyes. The things that the doctor was dreading might eventually happen in the future, but when... and how can she prevent it to happen? She can't hunt those human scientists one by one and kill them just to prevent something that is not happening yet, it's not humanly at all, and as much as possible she doesn't want to kill one of her kind. If only the vampires and humans can co-exist under one world then that would be awesome, but that was just wishful thinking. The two races can't exist peacefully with one another... for the majority of vampires... humans are considered to be their food, as for the humans' point of view they consider all vampires as parasites and should be eliminated from the face of the earth.
