Jessy was getting nearer to the city, she can smell the leader of the kidnapper's human scent, the smell is getting nearer...

He and the rest of the vehicles and motorcycles riders were stuck in heavy traffic because there was an ongoing vehicle accident in the middle of the road and the police officers were currently investigating it.
Twenty minutes later...
The traffic congestion was already alleviated after the two vehicles involved in a crash were taken out of the streets.
Jessy followed the leader as he drives his motorcycle away from the scene.
A moment later, he parked in front of a house that has an iron gate, they were in a quiet neighborhood.
The leader inserted some keys and the gate was opened, he drove the motorcycle inside the gate and closed back the gate.
After taking out the keys of the motorcycle he entered the house.
Jessy followed him inside.
In the living room, there are two children, one is a toddler and the other is a baby boy lying inside his crib on the floor covered with a carpet.
The leader went inside his room and dropped the backpack containing money in the bed.
Jessy watched him put the bag of money inside the closet among his clothes. Then the leader gets out of the room and went back to the living room to where the children were watching cartoons.
He picked up the baby boy from his crib and nuzzled his cheeks gently. "How are you today my, son? Did you watched lots of cartoons today with your cousin Emily...?"
The baby responded with incoherent words, wiggling his hands and thighs.
"I love you baby Oliver!" he murmured.
The little girl went to her uncle's side holding her dolls.
"I want mermaid doll next time, Uncle!" Emily demanded.
Aston messed up the toddler's hair and grinned. "No problem baby Emily, go asked mommy to buy you a mermaid doll tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay," Emily said, she went back to her place and continue watching mermaid cartoons on TV.
Aston put back baby Oliver in his crib and took out his phone from the pocket of his jeans. He will call his right man for an update, he was expecting a call from him but until now he's not getting any.
What could happen back there?
Could it be---?
Fear began to sink in his heart and mind.
He was calling Max his right hand.
Max's phone just keeps ringing but nobody is answering, he knew that it was muted on Max's side.
He called him again...
And again...
Yet no one is answering!
Then he called all his men's...one by one.
Nobody is answering!
F*ck!
Dammit!
This could only mean one thing...the mission failed and possibly...all...all of his men were already dead? or captured?
What could be the explanation?
Their silence means the ransom bearers' reinforcements came and killed all of his men.
Aaargh!
He needs to hide for a few days or even months...
He will bring some of the money with him and leave the rest to his sister.
But he got to say goodbye to his wife first.
Emma exited her room and came into the living room and glanced at his brother's pale face, she noticed his uneasiness.
"What happened, Aston?" she asked.
"Nothing, just some bad luck happening at work. I will go back outside and visit my wife in the hospital, I will be back later, I will sleep here," he said.
"Okay," Emma said.
Aston left the living room followed by Emma.
He opened the gate and went back to his motorcycle then inserted the keys then he starts the engine, he put the helmet on his head and exited the gate, Emma closed back the gate shaking her head.
She knows something seriously went wrong with her brother's job last night.
Still, she was unprepared for this day to come.
She took a deep breath and entered the house closing the door softly behind her.

Jessy trail the leader into the busy streets. So, the leader of the kidnappers is a family man? Not surprising...
She was about to freeze the guy earlier but he mentioned of a wife in the hospital...she will just allow him to visit his wife first before she will take him back to the warehouse along with the money. It would be a cruel move on her part if she will just take him away without able to say goodbye to his wife first.
The motorcycle stopped in front of the hospital, the leader parked his motorcycle properly and walked towards the entrance...the two guards on duty refused his entry...he tried to ask the guard again for permission to enter the hospital...he pleaded repeatedly...but was refused politely by the guards on duty because it's already beyond visiting hours and no visitors are allowed inside.
"Sir, please allow me to visit my wife in the ICU just for a few minutes, promised I won't stay long inside, I will report to my work tomorrow in a faraway place and I need to see her before I go, please have mercy on me," he begged again.
One of the guards had taken pity on him after seeing the sincerity and extreme sadness on his face.
"Okay, I will escort you inside, but only for a few minutes," the guard said.
Aston nearly cried of gladness. "Thank you so much, Sir!"
The guard and Aston walked into the hallway of the hospital followed by Jessy in her invisible form.
They went to the ICU room where Aston's wife was currently treated.
The guard looked at the guy's sad's face. "Is she your wife? What happened to her?" he asked out of curiosity.
"My wife went comatose after delivering our son during cesarean operation, she's been in that condition for over a year already," Aston answered.
The guard pitied the guy, he put a distance between him so that the guy can watch his wife in privacy.
Jessy walked nearer to the glass window and saw the woman sleeping in the hospital bed, she heard the guy and the guard's conversation. So, his wife is in a comatose estate for one year already? Very sad, the hospital bill must be very high! Could it be that he resorted to kidnapping for ransom because of his wife's dire financial condition?
But still, she believes that being in a critical situation you shouldn't do any bad things to others just to help yourself, but then...she did kill Major Miller because she was desperate to save her clan and the 5K human workers from total annihilation...so what's the difference between her and the leader of the kidnapper?
Is there any difference?
No difference at all.
People in desperate situations always do stupid decisions.
