While staring at Jagger's sleeping form, Jessy's eyelids began dropping until she can no longer remain awake, sleepiness finally took over her senses, she lies down on the floor and drifted into a deep slumber.
Five hours later.
The sun was shining brightly on the horizon, it was a beautiful day. The morning was splendid and the birds were celebrating with the coming of a new day, their melodious humming echoed all over the forest.
Jessy was awakened by the ray of light seeping into the window of the treehouse. While rubbing her eyes, she took a glance at Jagger, he was still in a deep sleep. She stood up and opened the window, allowing more lights to come inside.
Suddenly her stomach grumbled, alerting her that she needs to eat breakfast and stuff her stomach with her favorite coffee. She looks everywhere inside the house, she can't find any food!
Darn it!
She's feeling hungry!
She has to venture outside and find some food to eat, quick!
Jessy flew out of the window and hovered in the surrounding areas looking for something to eat. After a few minutes of floating around, she spotted a banana plant a few meters away from the treehouse, it has an abundance of green and ripe bananas!
Awesome! She won't die of hunger after all.
An enthusiastic smile appeared on her lips.
She went to the banana plant and began cutting the two clusters of ripe banana that contains ten banana fingers each with her bare hand. Yummy! She was already salivating because the bananas look so ripe and ready to eat.
She immediately returns to the treehouse and landed smoothly into the floor, she settled the ripe banana fruits beside her and began eating one banana, then another...while she was enjoying her sweet breakfast she caught sight of the sleeping Jagger.
Eh? How come he was still sleeping? It's getting late already.
Then she noticed that his body seems to be shaking, not sure of what's happening... she edges closer to where he was situated...and she was right his body was shaking! But why—? What happened to him? She placed her hands on his forehead thinking he was sick with a high fever, but his body isn't hot!
There was no sign of fever on his forehead.
What could be the problem with him?
She inspected his wound, it was already healing nicely. Pulling her jacket from her shoulder she wrapped it around his trembling body...maybe he needs to be feed with blood...he was still a vampire after all...then she cut her skin with her nails and flinch from the sudden pain, then let the blood drops into his mouth. The moment her blood reaches his mouth, Jagger's eyes flew open and he sunk his fangs greedily into the open wound of her skin.
After a while, Jessy doesn't have to stop him from taking so much of her blood because he simply let go of her hand on his own accord. He shuts his eyes falling into a deep slumber again.
She noticed these symptoms in the clinic after each recipient has been transfused with her blood they go to sleep in and out for seven days and then fangs gone.
Oh My God!
C-could it be that Jagger's body was slowly transitioning...turning into a mortal?
Jessy grinned, hope this is the case! If he will become a mortal he will be stripped of his vampire power, on the other hand, she wonders if Jagger's black magic capabilities will still exist after he fully transformed into a human being? Maybe yes or maybe not only time can tell.
Well...
She could leave Jagger for the meantime and go back to the Facility, she was sure her parents and the royal family were getting worried to death about her sudden disappearance.
Jessy stood up and flew out of the house, she hovered towards the banana plant and harvested two more clusters of banana's that were turning yellow, they will become fully ripe tomorrow or the next day. She brought the banana fruits into the treehouse and placed them beside Jagger, she also picked up the earthen jug and put it beside the banana fruits along with the coconut shell so that he can easily feed himself with the fruits and the water just in case he will wake up later and feel hungry and she was already gone.
Done making sure he will survive on his own...she was ready to leave.
Jessy has to return to the Facility or else her parents will die of torment agonizing where to find her.
She planned to transform herself into her invisible form and teleport into the Facility, but she will go to the canteen first, she will pick up food for her breakfast and bring it to her room and then after done eating she will go to the clinic to do blood transfusion and while lying in the clinic bed, she will think of a believable story to tell to her parents and to the royal family regarding on what exactly happened after she and Jagger disappeared from the Facility.
In her mind, she already hatched a credible story! It's now time to tell the fake tale.
She glanced at Jagger one last time before she transformed herself into her invisible form. Then initiated the teleportation process and within the span of a few minutes she was already hovering above the Facility, she noticed that the bats were nowhere to be found outside, which means the king and his men have successfully eliminated those bloodsuckers, she feels instant relief. She proceeds inside the canteen, the workers inside the pantry were busy with their chores, she snatched two ham and egg sandwich and one mug hot coffee and teleported into her room.

Inside the queen's study room.
Hector, Sarah, Adam and the royal couple were conducting an emergency meeting inside the study room.
Adam together with a hundred vampires was been up all night looking for Jessy all over the forest and scouring the neighboring mountains in the far distance, yet their search was futile.
They go home empty-handed.
Jessy can't be found anywhere...she simply disappeared without a trace.
Hector and Sara's face were distraught, their hearts were breaking inside worrying for their daughter's safety from the hands of the enemy. Although their daughter posses power still they are worried that the enemy who tries to kill her already succeeded and her lifeless body was lying abandoned somewhere...they already braced for the worst-case possible scenario. It's every parents' nightmare waiting for the missing daughter that was abducted by a powerful enemy, they were dreading the worst.
Hoping for the best while preparing for the worst was the only approach they can rely on during these difficult times.
Adam released a deep sigh. He blamed himself for coming too late last night. While he was preparing to sleep in his room, he starts feeling uneasy, he should have come to the Facility right away, he could have prevented the enemy from abducting Jessy. He was hoping it's not too late yet to find and save her. He won't sleep nor take a rest today, he will continue looking for Jessy all day and all night long, he won't stop until he finds her.
King Antone blamed himself as well, if only he stops Jessy right away from impersonating him, his daughter-in-law would still be with them right now, safe and sound.
Queen Margaret was also lost in her thoughts, totally shaken by the recent happenings, if her daughter-in-law won't show up herself today, as soon the darkness starts descending outside the Facility she will accompany her son to find Jessy to the ends of the world.
Finding the atmosphere inside suffocating, King Antone finally addressed everyone in the room...
"Guys, we should not lose hope, I believe Jessy is still alive until today because her body can heal quickly," King Antone reminded everyone in the room.
They just looked at each other feeling hopeful, on the outside they look calm but inside their hearts were already filled with dread. The atmosphere inside the Facility was gloomy after everyone learned that the crossbred was abducted by the enemy and was gone missing.
Hector was consoling his wife, trying to pacify her fears... tears of agony were streaming down Sarah's face, her sobbing can be heard all over the study room.
Their hearts were struck with an uncertainty of what tomorrow will bring to the clan if Jessy can no longer return alive.
It was such a sad day for everyone in the Facility.
