Zhaohui and Suyin were sleeping soundly inside of the cave. Zhaohui slept at the opposite side of Suyin who was starving to death. After Zhaohui suggested Suyin to go to sleep, she couldn't sleep thanks to her growling stomach.
"Damn it!" Suyin cursed under her breath, holding onto her stomach that howled in the cave.
"It's nothing. Sometimes, there are bats inside this cave, but I can assure you that they are harmless." Zhaohui commented, shifting his body to sleep at his right side. He was slowly falling asleep, while Suyin's stomach began to growl louder than before. Although Zhaohui believed that the howls and sounds were from the bats, it was actually from Suyin's stomach, crying for food.
Suyin slowly sat up and made sure that she didn't make a single sound to wake Zhaohui up. She tiptoed toward the fire pit. The hot coals from the fire were glowing red and yellow, slowly dying off. Suyin had spotted a fish at the side, still untouched.
"Sorry, I owe you a cooked fish next time," Suyin whispered, rubbing both of her hands to thank him in advance as she devoured the fish.
Zhaohui opened his eyes at the side, silently taking a glance of her eating the fish as he lit a mischevious smile on his face.
Apparently, when Zhaohui left outside while Suyin was still unconscious, he was getting trying to go fish for the both of them.
