“We’ll set a price for the item, which will be unknown to the buyers,” the girl said. “We don’t sell it to the highest bidder, but rather, the person who offers the closest price to our set numbers will win the item.”
It was truly a unique way to auction things, and doing so could increase the price of the items more than doing it the traditional way.
“How expensive do you think the Cursed Pearl will be?” Ye Mo suddenly asked Cai Ling.
“I’m going to say that it’ll start around 50,000 Fortifying Pearls,” Cai Ling replied.
The Cursed Pearl had been found in a huge graveyard, where it had been absorbing all of the Cursed Energy of the graveyard.
“What a startling number,” Ye Mo exclaimed. Even the Qin Clan from the Limestone City would not have been able to produce that amount at one time.
“I can lend you some if you want,” Cai Ling offered.
“Don’t worry, I’ll think of something,” Ye Mo said, taking out the two Ice Cores he’d just bought and four blank charms.
The energies from the cores were pure, even if they were only Rank One Beast Cores. The purer the energy was, the more powerful the charm it produced became.

A warrior could enhance their power by using pills, but becoming a Charm Master required real talent.
Ye Mo focused all of his mind on his hand. He held a piece of blank charm in the one hand and cracked an Ice Core in his other. Ice Energy began to seep out from his palm as the temperature around him dropped.
Cai Ling looked at Ye Mo as she couldn’t believe that Ye Mo was trying to draw a charm in the environment they were in where everyone was shouting and drinking.
The basic requirement to draw charms was to have a quiet environment. If the Charm Master was disturbed during the process, the outcome would be disastrous.
Cai Ling held her breath and stared at Ye Mo. No one had their attention on Ye Mo as they were too distracted by the girl dancing on stage with her perfect body.
They were so focused on the stage that they completely ignored Ye Mo.

Ye Mo focused the icy blue energy on his fingertips as his fingers danced like pixies. In just a few minutes, he has successfully drawn a Heavenly Frost Charm.
I had to use 50 Dragon Energies to counter the Ice Energy that was trying to freeze my brain! Ye Mo exclaimed in his head. This Heavenly Frost Charm could even freeze an Energy Shaping First Realm warrior!
Ye Mo was happy with the result. If he were to come across an Energy Shaping First Realm opponent, he could just use the charm to freeze the warrior in place. His opponent wouldn’t even have the time to evade his charm.
“That was eye-opening,” Cai Ling said. “I would have never thought that you were a Charm Master too. What’s more is that you were able to create such a powerful charm in this noisy environment.”
“I’ve no interest in them to begin with, so they are not a distraction by any means,” Ye Mo said as the Rising Dragon Pillar began to absorb the Natural Energy. “One of the basic practices of being a Charm Master is being able to stay calm in any situation. If I can’t do that, I’m going to have a hard time in the future.”
“Not bad!” Cai Ling praised.
Ye Mo kept the first charm and waited for his Dragon Energies to replenish. Once they were back to where they started, Ye Mo began to work on the second one.
The girl finished her performance as soon as Ye Mo finished his fourth Heavenly Frost Charm. The girl was showered with applause from the audience.
Ye Mo intended to use all four charms to bid for the Cursed Pearl.
“How was Meiqi’s performance?” the girl asked with a wink that made the crowd roar. Even the faces of some of the men reddened from seeing the girl’s naked body.
“Wonderful!” one of the men shouted. “How about you join me tonight? I’ll get the Cursed Pearl and give it as a gift to you!”
“Tie Nan, do you think that Meiqi will spend the night with you?” another man said. “You’re so weak that it’s pathetic.”
“Mu Hua, are you saying your clan is wealthier than mine?” Tie Nan insulted.
Mu Hua only snorted and finished his wine in one gulp.
“Meiqi sure is beautiful. Look at her body, her strength! They even say that she’s an Energy Shaping First Realm warrior. I’ll give anything to die under her!”
“Many men have already died under her. It’s still worth it to become a ghost for such an attractive lady though.”

“I’m Taishi Dan of the Taishi clan from the Tiaori City, one of the disciples who was recommended into the Qingyun Alliance!” the man replied.
The Tianri City was the strongest clan in the southern part of Tianwu Kingdom. The head of the Taishi Clan was also the City Lord.
“Taishi Dan? I’ve heard about you,” Xiaoyao Polong said. “My name is Xiaoyao Polong, and I’m the young master of the Pleasure Valley. Why don’t you join me for a toast after the auction has ended?”
