Now that Ye Mo had successfully advanced to the Energy Shaping Realm, his brain was able to withstand the strength of 60 rays of Giant Dragon Power and mimic the all of moves of the Technique of Interchangeability as well. However, this technique was not exactly easy to master – how frightening would it be to witness speed so fast that a 100 shadows could be cast at once?

Such techniques involving one’s body could not be mastered in a just a few days. They belong to a rare set of Mortal level martial techniques.

“Brother Ye Mo, if you want to quickly finish training your Technique of Interchangeability, I have a solution,” Ling’er said, deep in thought as she sat on top of the seal.

“Oh?”

“If I’m remembering correctly, there are training methods for Seal Masters utilizing their seals that also train your reaction time and speed. You should go and buy some knives from the League Point Hall,” said Ling’er.

Ye Mo’s mission card still had 7000 league points, which was enough to be exchanged for plenty of treasured items. Who knew what new products were available?

Ye Mo immediately closed the stone door and left the cave. Arriving at the League Point Hall, Ye Mo saw the same elder in his seventies with an undetectable training level guarding the hall.

Ye Mo’s first visit here was a rushed one as he hurriedly bought the Water of Life. This time, he was going to shop around the League Point Hall.

“Dear elder, I am here to exchange my points for some weapons,” said Ye Mo as he submitted his mission card.

The elderly took Ye Mo’s mission card to check, then said in a lazy tone, “With 7000 League Points, you can walk around the whole of the first level. Any item that is to your liking can be exchanged.”

“What about the second floor?” Ye Mo asked curiously.

The elderly, with his droopy eyelids, explained, “Due to your mission card only having 7000 league points, you can only exchange for items on the first floor. As for the second floor, the cheapest treasured good will cost more than 10,000 league points. Not only do you not have enough points to exchange, the guard checking your card won’t even let you in.”

“I see!”

Ye Mo nodded, directly walking into the first floor. There were numerous league members walking around, picking their training resources.

Entering the first floor, Ye Mo felt chills run down his spine, as if he was being watched.

“There is a Heaven’s Gate Realm fighter here supervising things. His true energy has already enshrouded the whole floor, meaning that the moment anyone attempts to steal any resources, he will detect it immediately,” explained Ling’er.

A Heaven’s Gate Realm fighter was way more powerful than a True Energy Realm fighter. Other than having superior offense, they had perfect control of their strength and power.

For instance, when a Heaven’s Gate Realm fighter uses true energy to attack an opponent, his consciousness becomes part of the energy force, meaning that he is aware of the level of strength he is utilizing and has control over whether he wants to increase or decrease the force of the attack.

Inside the hall were layers of walls acting like shelves, and within them were all kinds of items with their price clearly labelled.

“There are seals here too!”

Ye Mo spotted a seal. On the texts of the seal, there were rippling currents – evidently a water element Attack seal.

“This is an Attack Seal called Boundless Ocean, barely a Level Two Water Type Attack Seal. It is not too hard to cultivate, but the seal texts are extremely complicated,” said Ling’er.

Seals came in a variety of types – a Level One Attack Seal alone came in countless different types and versions. For Ye Mo, these seals were not of much use. He now knew how to cultivate a number of Attack Seals and would occasionally cultivate some Defense Seals.

He still had two Thunderous Skies Seals with him.

The seals that Ling’er had taught him to cultivate were stronger, but the beast cores required were all rare commodities and hard to find, which explained Ye Mo’s cautiousness in using them.

As Ye Mo continued his shopping, he walked past the entrance towards the second floor, where he saw a familiar face walking out.

“Ye Changsheng? This guy is actually allowed to enter the second floor in such a carefree manner? Plus, it seems like his aura has increased further in strength!”

Naturally, Ye Mo did not believe that Ye Changsheng had won 10,000 league points based on his own merit. The only plausible explanation was that the Master Xuan Ji had given him the authority to do so.

Ye Changsheng bumped into him as the two of them exchanged glances.

Ye Mo viewed Ye Changsheng on equal terms, but Ye Changsheng’s look was filled with arrogance, looking down on Ye Mo.

“Ye Changsheng, it must have been a month since we met after entering the league. Congratulations. It looks like you actually managed to advance to the Energy Shaping Second Realm. Master Xuan Ji must have spent quite a bit of effort on you.”

Ye Mo’s words were clear in their intent. He meant to convey: I relied on my own training, while you, Ye Changsheng, were only where you were thanks to a helping hand from the Master Xuan Ji.

Ye Changsheng’s expression gradually returned to one of calm as he quietly looked at Ye Mo. He smiled and said, “Ye Mo, who would’ve expected that you also made the breakthrough to the Energy Shaping First Realm? However, I heard that you crippled Yun Shan’s Energy Center and will be sent to the Legal Division soon. Whether you can get out alive remains to be seen. You are ultimately my younger cousin, and as your older cousin, I am heartbroken hearing about this. You were supposed to be a normal league member when you came to the Qingyun League, not poking your nose in other people’s business or being too showy. You would have been the pride of the Xiao Clan when you return to the Limestone City.”

“Heartbroken?” Ye Mo laughed mockingly and continued, “You lost to me before, and I bet you can’t wait for me to die soon. To think that you would feel heartbroken. It is all thanks to you that I am being sent to the Legal Division. But don’t worry, I will not die. I will stay alive at least until your death. Also, let me send you a message. Regardless of how highly Master Xuan Ji thinks of you, you are not worthy of being my opponent in this lifetime. You will forever be under my feet.”

“Your tongue has gotten sharper since we last met.” Ye Changsheng smiled slightly and replied monotonously, “An Outer League member like you won’t understand how powerful the elite members and chiefs are. I admit, I was beneath you in the past, but I’ve been handpicked by Master Xuan Ji – the amount of training that I’ve received is incomprehensible. Furthermore, I will also become a nominee to become a chief. When I do, you are nothing to me.”

Xuan Ji League’s nurturing of chiefs was an open secret.

“The League Points Hall is a sacred space. No noise allowed! If you want to argue, go outside!” An old voice could be heard, regarding them.

Ye Mo glanced at Ye Changsheng and walked off. Ye Changsheng, on the other hand, prepared to leave the hall with not a care in the world.

“Chief, how interesting. Jing Xiu League and Ling Xuan League all have their own chiefs, with only Xuan Ji League lacking one.”

Ye Mo’s head started to hurt. Becoming a chief was his promise to Qi Ying. He had to do it no matter what. However, in order for him to do so, he would have to fight for the spot in Xuan Ji League.

“I suggest you focus on your next obstacle first. The Outer League Examination is coming up. Give it your all, showcase what you got, and get the attention from the higher ups,” Ling’er interrupted Ye Mo’s train of thought.

Ye Mo continued shopping at the League Point Hall, eventually finding some throwing knives for 500 league points each, an inexpensive purchase.

“Let’s buy 10 first to see if we can train to the level of 10 shadows,” said Ling’er.
