If humans are as cool and straightforward as Heather then will there be misunderstandings? I think yes.

When I turned around, I saw Aster standing and waiting for me.

"Not interested?" I questioned. Being a male on an island meant there are lots of adventures to do and lots of eye candy at the beach. Even females would check out the males.

"Nah, I'll swim later. I think I'll be better out here than staying with the group." He said looking at his sister's direction.

"Why would you say that?" I know for sure that I'd be happy swimming with or without the others. Hello? We're on a beach and its fre*king summer.

"Well, let's say I'm not comfortable?" He then looked at my expression which clearly says, "Huh?"

"Just imagine my sister flaunting her as—bikini…"He said as he lowered and scratch his head.

Oh, I get it. With her personality, she can be a little thick skinned in her attempt to show off. That is really awkward for a relative to see.

We walked around barefoot as we held our slippers to feel the warm sand beneath us. Aster followed me going back to the place I was staying and again accompanied me to the platform raft. Boy, he was like my tail, always a few steps behind me.

Along the way, we saw sunbeds and parasols along the shore being set up by resort crews where guests can stay and avoid the sun.

The raft is attached to a wooden dock so divers have an easy access going to and from there. It got a native vibe; a bartender is inside serving few guests some cocktail. They also serve delicious barbecues once the sun sets. If you look down the waters, a school of vibrant fish swims by. The clear water and cool breeze are purely inviting.

'I need to think of an idea for me to join the fun.'

"Hey-?" Aster snapped his fingers in front of me.

Since my thoughts were interrupted I was a little irritated. "What?"

"I need to go somewhere." He started explaining. It seemed that while I was thinking he got acquainted to a few of his age.

Is it because this lady here is old so you don't want to hang around? Am I that useless?

"Uh, sure. Have fun." I waved at their group and they went ahead without worry.

It was noontime and as I've got no other thing to do, I went for lunch. The place got ample of restaurants to choose from and I went to the eastern side of the island. The restaurant has floor to ceiling windows that welcome in the sights and sounds of the tranquil shore beyond. I was told that we were near one of the diving spots they have.

As they only have Japanese cuisine in this place, I've got sushi bento, a maguro tuna, cooked in sweet soy sauce; it had the meaty-sweet synthesis of a beef jerky, a pair oysters, shrimp tempura and zenkichi salad. All were eaten cleanly. I was wearing a swimsuit crochet cover up so other guests can't see if my stomach swells.

I kept walking to other places not intending to return anytime soon although I've said that they can find me at the raft, I need to check if my group of friends are near the snorkeling or diving site I was heading to. If miraculously they aren't then I can enjoy my alone time not worrying about getting caught.

The island is huge (has its own airstrip) and vegetation is impressive and relatively wild.

I was walking on the road going to the diving spot when there was a weird sound coming from the side.

'tsup'

Yep, like that for example.

'tsup, tsup'

There it is again.

'ha~'

Uhm, I think I'm hearing it differently?.

Since the island is practically 70 percent wild, there's a lot of trees, grass, bushes, tall bushes that can hide things from sight nearby.

Sometimes curiosity is not the answer. I sneaked a peek on to whatever that sound was.

There was a couple playing hockey. Tongue hockey with the lady on top of the guy. I felt bad that I've got to witness them like this but the sound their making is really something. I thought there was an animal in distress.

I've planned to leave them alone but I was drawn to the side profile of the female. Even that pink swimsuit she had looked familiar. They finally separated after their long kiss making a thread of saliva connects them.

The female was Gerbera but the male isn't Liam. This is news.

Seeing as they won't be getting disconnected any time soon, I went my way.

I was near the diving spot and there was still no shadow of the group in my view so I was feeling hopeful. In my excitement, I hopped merrily going to the Sea Sports with full intention to dive.

"Iris?" a voice called me and I instantly dropped my happy vibe. I was contemplating whether I'd give him attention or not.

"Liam," I said as I spun to look at him.

He came closer as he said, "Did you come here to see us? Thought you'd spend the whole day at the raft."

Since he said so then might as well say it. "Yes, I came to see you guys. Why are you alone? Where's everybody?"

"Luke went with some professional divers and sailed to a better spot. Heather was playing beach volley last I saw her and I think Lily is there on the sunbeds." He pointed in their direction as I nodded.

"How about your girlfriend?" I casually asked before planning to go away.

"The heat got her. She was having a migraine so I sent her back. The medical doctor of this place already checked on her and said she only needs to rest."

"That's unfortunate then. " I said but inside I was thinking that a different kind of heat got her.

"What's with that face?" He commented as I was keeping quiet.

"Nothing, I'll head on to the girl's side," I said then took off.
