Even Hannah stood along with the other designers when Jessica entered the hall .When Jessica's eyes met Hannah , she tried to hint Jessica to look back through her eyes and Jessica looked back just like Hannah hinted her and saw Austin standing behind her .
She was stunned to see the man standing behind her. she didn't expect him to be here too .
When Austin told that he came to her workplace just to know her answer in the lift , she wasn't in a state to use her brain to think further about what Austin told was true or was he lying .
Good Morning Mr. President , few people said politely bowing their head when Austin came inside the hall .
Jessica couldn't believe what she was seeing with her eyes . She knew that the guy in front of her was a top business man but she never imagined him to be the president of Sanchez too .
Jessica who still didn't come out of shock slowly went and stood beside Hannah .
Did you know that he is our new president ? , Jessica asked Hannah in a low voice when other people were presenting bouquets to Austin .
No , I came to know after coming here . He is our former president's son , Hannah said . Jessica was dumbfounded after listening to Hannah's reply .
If he is the son of our former president doesn't that mean his mother is ASA ? , she thought and looked at him , when her gaze was caught by Austin , she looked away .
For some reason she felt happy that atleast once she saw the person whom she admired the most since her childhood . This was another shock given by him today .
Everybody took their seats after greeting their new president . The meeting was just an interaction between him and the top designers in the company . Austin is a kind of person who doesn't talk much but he always listens to his employees problems and tries to solve it . Since today was the first day for him in Sanchez , he decided to talk to the designers first . Most of the people shared their opinion which Austin listened to them keenly . After the meeting ended everybody dispersed .
I'll join you later , you go ahead , she said to Hannah .
Austin still sat in his seat when everybody were leaving .
Why didn't you tell me that you were the president when we met in the lift ?, she asked him .
I would've surely told you if you asked me , why I was here , he said .
Jessica glared at him to his reply.
Jessica asked him if he came to her workplace just to know her answer instead of asking , why he was here . He didn't lie to her , she was one of the main reasons why he was here today . He even took employee's lift instead of his personal lift for her so that he could talk to her and know her reply even though he knew what her answer would be .
He got up from his seat and walked towards where Jessica stood .
What ? , Are you angry ? , he asked her .
She shook her head , I'm not , it's kinda hard to digest that you are my boss now , she said raising her eyebrow playfully .
He let a laugh out to her reply .
I guess we should leave now , she said .
They both walked out of the hall and took the lift . Jessica works in Tenth floor . After they reached tenth floor the lift was opened . They both came out of the lift and walked to a certain distance .
I'm going H City , he said .
When will you be back? , she asked him .
One week , he said .
The smile on her face slowly died when she heard his reply, her heart felt heavy due to unknown reasons .
They both stood little away from each other since other people could see them but they won't be able to hear them .
You take care , he said .
She nodded with an Okay .
She didn't know why her heart felt heavy when he said he was going to H city . She just met him yesterday and now he said her that he was going to another city and would be back in few days . She was afraid of losing him again .
Go now . People are staring at us as if we are their prey . He said to make her smile atleast a little and she did smile but it was a faint smile and then she headed towards her cabin .
Not once , not twice but most of the times when they met she was the one who always left first leaving their conversation incomplete either because of someone or because of the situations when she used to make excuses and leave in hurry . There were times when he felt , does she not like being with me ? , why does she always leave in hurry making excuses ?
Even though he always knew that she wouldn't turn back to look at him , he used to stand still and look at her leaving everytime . Old habits are hard to change , even now he stood there with hands in either side of his pockets and looked at the girl who was heading to her cabin but to his surprise the girl turned back and looked at him for the first time making his heart pound . Her petite face was all pale when she looked at him . She didn't want to let him go , she wanted to tell him not to leave her but she didn't , she just stood there and looked at him .
He took his phone and then hinted her to check her phone through his eyes and Jessica saw his message .
" I'll come back to you soon !! "
He texted her .
She smiled after reading his message . Her heart which was heavy until now felt lighter after reading that one sentence sent by him .
She looked around and saw people looking at her , she took a glance at him before going into the cabin .
On the other side Austin left the office with a grim on his face .
After reaching home Jessica called Rachel . Before leaving to office , Jessica texted Rachel that she would call her in the evening when Rachel texted her to know what happened between them .
Instead of voice call Jessica dialed video call to see Rachel's reactions . When Jessica called her , Rachel answered the call taking the earphones with her and then sat in the balcony . At that time Justin was taking shower .
So ? , she asked her excitedly .
Jessica started to tell from where it all began . She told her what all they spoke , whatever she thought in her mind , each and everything she told her without missing even a tiny bit .
Justin came out after taking shower and saw his wife . There was a glass door to go to the balcony due to which he wasn't able to hear anything but looking at her excited face , he understood she was talking with his cousin but didn't know why she had that bright look on her face . After getting dressed , Just when he opened his laptop he got a call from Austin .
We are together now , Austin said on the phone .
That's great , let's party then , Justin said looking at his wife who was still talking to Jessica on video call .
