The Thunder Prince then explained that the skill called 'Spiritualize' when learned would give the cultivator the ability to subsume the powers and abilities of the contracted demonic beast.

Meaning, the cultivator and his contracted demonic beast would be able to merge into one and be transformed into a whole new level of being.

In Qai and Shandian's case, one could only guess what they would actually look like should they successfully merge. But one thing for certain was the fact that Qai would become stronger by many times.

'Spiritualize' was apparently a skill that had not been seen in a long long while—that was most probably because there were certain prerequisites to such ability.

And those were, aside from being an Emperor first—which was already difficult to achieve since a contracted demonic beast might get killed first way before his 'master'—both the cultivator and contracted demonic beast must possess the 'same' Elemental affinity.

The second point was what the current cultivators that learned 'Beast Taming' skill had obviously forgotten to consider.

In fact, many slave cultivators whom Feng Lan recently faced had different Elemental affinities with their contracted demonic beast. Apparently, not even their 'masters' were knowledgeable about it.

But such reality could be considered as understandable since the 'Spiritualize' skill had long lost its usage in the vast cultivation world.

"Now," the Thunder Prince said, "do you understand why I said that the heavens seemed to be moving to guide you."

Qai simply smiled at the elders remarks.

"You're one such lucky brat," the elder said.

Shandian's facial expression , on the other hand, which was already seated silently besides Qai, appeared to be filled with excitement as if the contracted demonic beast could instinctively understand what was just discussed.

The Thousand Treasures Pavilion elder, meanwhile, was about to dismiss the two as in he was about to stand from where he was seated but suddenly recalled something.

"Oh, by the way," the elder suddenly said. "Your slave cultivator.. how is she so strong at her current level."

The Thunder Prince had obviously heard a lot of the 'Feline Fist's' exploits in the underground arena.

Qai in reply simply looked at Feng Lan as if trying to indicate that it was alright to reveal the elder her condition.

Feng Lan, on the other hand, was initially hesitant but since the elder had earlier told about the 'Hypnosis Pill,' she thought that the latter might really be trustworthy so she told her story anyway plus the skills that Qai bought for her.

"Tiger bloodline, is it!?" The Thunder Prince uttered with a slight shake in his head. "So that explains why you can somehow retain your consciousness."

He was already inspired by how Qai thought of the skills Feng Lan equipped. And now that he learned of the slave cultivator's physical constitution, it was only logical for her to move on to that cultivation path.

'What a smart kid,' the elder thought.

He obviously could not move on with the streak of fortune Qai was obtaining.

Feng Lan meanwhile just nodded and waited for more information from the elder.

"I already know that the two of you had not performed the 'blood contract'," the elder added, "and just pretended to be slave and master."

He then looked at Qai as if he wanted to impart something to his younger 'lightning' brother.

"As far as I know," he said, "once you execute the so-called 'blood contract,' there would be no longer any way for a slave cultivator to deny any orders coming from the fated master."

Indeed, it was eventually what the 'Hypnosis Pill' could apparently do.

And prior to any form of 'blood contract,' those who had taken the pill were like 'empty vessel' or 'lost souls' waiting for somebody to perform said contract. At least that was the effect on ordinary cultivators.

The pill was actually like a condition precedent to make a cultivator turn into a slave. Without taking it, a cultivator could not possibly be a slave even if two cultivators performed some sort of 'blood contract.'

But in Feng Lan's case, the elder could not give any opinion if she would still be able to stay conscious and resist her master's orders.

"I don't know what would be the effect on you," the elder continued with a slight gaze on Feng Lan, "should the two of you perform the blood contract."

"What..," Feng Lan shyly asked, "..what should we do then?"

"I guess the best next action should be to really concoct the antidote," the Thunder Prince suggested, "lest another cultivator finds out your act and force a 'blood contract' on you."

The Thousand Treasures Pavilion elder's words were obviously referring to Qai and Feng Lan's scheme to pretend that she was Qai's 'real' slave cultivator especially in the underground arena where the two successfully gained a lot of 'Spirit Stones'."

"But there's no way I'm gonna butt deep inside the Black Shadow Clan's domain," Qai worriedly said, "and steal such precious recipe unless.."

Qai was supposed to say 'unless the clan itself was in great threat and was suddenly attacked by somebody else.'

But before even uttering those words, he pulled his tongue back and remembered the conditions of spouses Liu Hei and Liu Hua before the couple would head to 'The Hunters' Plateau.'

So Qai paused for a moment and grinned.

"I think I might have a chance."

"Eh!?"
