"This must go there."

"We need this one over here."

"And we should add this over there."

Qai instructed Jing in detail how he liked the stable and shed to be. The buildings were intricately designed so as not to ruin the scenic view of the plataeu.

***************

Jing, as well as his twin sister Bing, by this time were already at the peak earth stage of expert realm. And like Qai, they would soon learn new skills.

Bing would obviously learn 'Intermediate Alchemy.' The family's cultivation resources had made a leap eversince Qinlun learned 'Intermediate Alchemy.' Not only did their cultivation benefitted from the new pills but that adventurers were now open to trading pills from them--in fact a small pill shop was put up near the inn.

Jing on the other hand was trained to follow an assassin cultivation path due to his poison affinity. And Shu Wei thought that the most suited skill he needed next is called 'Incision.'

Although a common class skill, 'Incision' is a strike skill that uses a dagger or a knife with technical precision so much so that one cut is enough to inflict fatal injury.

***************

Qai and Jing made use of bricks and logs from Darkwood trees, which were obviously bountiful in the forest, to build the stable and shed. They placed them apart with enough space between them to give allowance to future expansion.

It only took the two of them an entire day to finish everything.

And as soon as he placed the beasts inside their new home, he fed them with a mixture of herbs and ground beast cores. He also fed them with cultivating pills which the beasts really enjoyed.

Qai believed these items will help them evolve.

He showed Jing what he fed them and asked him to feed the beasts the same thing everytime he would not be around.

Several days later, few guests came to the plateau looking for his father.

They were the chief and 2 elders of Gale Village. They already learned that Shu Wei had entered the sage realm and the purpose of their visit was undoubtedly what everyone expected it to be.

Moon Village and Gale Village had always been at odds with one another. Every three years, the two villages would conduct a match between their best cultivators to determine superiority of one village over the other.

Such tradition had been existing since the days of both villages' ancestors and continued til today for over a hundred years.

The match 3 years ago ended up in a convincing draw but neither of the village heads could swallow their pride as both of them claimed and believed that the other cheated.

In the past, both chiefs had lured Shu Wei several times to join their villages. They offered him all sorts of things just to win his favor but Shu Wei would always decline.

This time, the family believed, the purpose of the visit would be no different.

Both villages were considered mortal villages so the presence of cultivators were as rare as a gem. At most, the strongest cultivator in this kind of backwater village would be a heaven stage expert.

Anyone from these parts who crossed the sage realm would never stay for long. And Shu Wei, they believed, would be the first. So whichever village wins Shu Wei, will be like hitting the jackpot!

"Good day, Shu Wei!" The village chief said.

"Good day, Chief," Shu Wei answered. "What brings the esteemed head here in our humble abode?"

Instead of answering directly, one of the elders interrupted and commented on what he immediately noticed.

"It appears that your family is getting bigger by the day," the elder said.

"We do not wish to beat the bush around, you know," the chief said. "We came here for your youngest son."

"Eh?" Shu Wei exclaimed.
