For two days, the Purple Mist Sect disciples together with Mo Shui and Tenh Hu had not stopped collecting all the treasures the cauldron gobbed out.

They had in fact grabbed more than three dozens of treasures that varied from weapons, scrolls, pills and other valueable materials for cultivation.

So when Qai and the rest of the cultivators who guarded the palace grounds and entrance saw the faces of those around the treasured cauldron, they could obviously tell how they salivate with the treasures in their hands.

"Looks like you had a bountiful couple of days days," one of the sect disciples from Qai's group asked.

Everyone around the cauldron just grinned altho they were obviously tired from waiting for two days.

'Plooof.'

Qai who was standing from behind quickly hopped and caught the treasure with his outstretched right arm.

"This one would serve as one of my shares," Qai immediately said.

Everyone greedily looked at Qai but quickly thought that it wouldn't hurt if he would have that one.

So when Qai opened his hand, he saw that it was a bottle of Spirit Milk--just like the one he gave his father.

He quickly placed it inside his spatial ring and rubbed his nose. For fairness Qai told everyone what he got.

"It's a small bottle of Spirit Milk," he said.

Qai saw the sect disciples faces who didn't seem surprised--so he figured out that the bottle he got probably wasn't the first that the cauldron spat.

In fact, the Purple Mist Sect disciples had already got seven bottles of Spirit Milk in the span of two days.

He paused for a moment and thought of something.

"Hmmn," Qai mused. "I would gladly have another bottle of Spirit Milk.. and in return, I will take my leave from here.."

Everyone was taken aback by what Qai said. Qai, in the first place previously appeared out of nowhere and, at once, became part of them as recepients of the treasures--so him taking his leave early was obviously a welcome development.

Surely, a bottle of Spirit Milk is very valuable. But Qai was willing to leave with few more days to spend of waiting around the cauldron. Nobody could really tell what more would the treasured cauldron give out.

After some moments of silence, Duan Mu sighed and took one of the bottles from his spatial ring and threw it over to Qai.

"Alright," Duan Mu said. "Take this and scram."

Qai caught the small bottle of Spirit Milk and was about to turn his back from the entire group when Duan Mu added some overbearing parting words.

"By the way..," he arrogantly said "..don't let us meet you out there.. because the moment I see you, I'll make sure to kill you."

"Eh."

Duan Mu was obviously trying to scare him away although he was naturally appreciative that Qai brought out the idea of guarding the entrance--monopolizing the treasures became easy for the sect.

Having heard his words, Qai slightly smiled back at Duan Mu and left. Obviously he simply pretended to have truly left--in truth, when no one was already noticing, he crawled back to his spot to where Shu Liang and Shandian were hiding.

He had one more goal. That is to eliminate Teng Hu and steal his treasures.

***************

Meanwhile back in 'The Hunters' Plateau,' a few groups started coming out of the portal that early.

"It's too soon," one of the spectators whispered.

"Why are they back already?" another one asked.

"I think that's a smart move..," a famous clan elder commented, "I would recommend the same to vagrant cultivators."

"Well, I guess its safer not to be too greedy" yet another one remarked.

Those groups had already gained a little and decided to head back fearing that the more they stayed inside the Desolate Wasteland, the more other groups would eventually become greedily chaotic and start to steal one another's harvest.

Upon arrival to the plateau, said groups immediately reported to their respective clans or families and sorted out which haul should they surrender to the Purple Mist Sect as levy.

"Ho ho..," Emperor Void chuckled looking at some thousand-year herbs, "..these are some fine haul."

One by one, the early groups who exited the Wasteland sumbitted to the sect headmaster the Purple Mist Sect's ten percent share as part of the deal.

The other elders of the sect who were present nodded in agreement with their eyes filled with excitement and could not wait what the other groups still inside the wasteland would remit.
