The Purple Mist Sect disciples gave Qai one more treasure. It was one of the skill scrolls for wind element from the cauldron. Duan Mu specifically gave it since Qai said it was for his sister.

In all, Qai got a total of five treasures from the huge cauldron, namely, the 'Hawkeye' skill scroll, the two small bottles of 'Spirit Milk,' the dagger that Teng Hu originally got, and the wind skill scroll which was actually the one Chu Feng (direct disciple of Emperor Void) used before called 'Whirlwind.'

On the other hand, the three Mo Clan members were given a total of nine treasures, granting three pieces each--all of which were compatible with their respective elements and cultivation.

The sect disciples, however, did not personally get any of the treasures. The rest of the treasures taken from the cauldron, as instructed by the headmaster, would be delivered to the sect. And in return, they would be rewarded by the sect with other things more suited for each one's cultivation.

*************

After spending few more days roaming around the Desolate Wasteland, the original Mo Clan first team spent the time gathering more herbs and beast cores. Along the way, they chanced upon some more thousand-year herbs which they equally distributed among themselves.

And with all the shameless and cunning tricks Qai employed throughout his stay inside the wasteland, he evidently became one of the richest participants in terms of harvest.

Qai moreover gave the 'Whirlwind' scroll to Shu Liang--it was intended for her after all and it was the skill he once thought to purchase in the future for his big sister.

The dagger and some other 'Poison' element skill scrolls he found in Teng Hu's spatial ring would be given to Jing. So far, Jing had not equipped any rare skill scroll--but now, it appeared that Jing would truly be an assassin with all the things Teng Hu left.

The thousand-year herbs in Qai's possession would be planted in Xiao Ning's herb garden while some could be concected in order for the rest of the Shu family members breakthrough to sage realm should anyone among themselves eventually reach half-step stage.

There were other skill scrolls, cultivation pills, weapons, cores and herbs he got from the rest of the spatial rings he took. Some of them will be gifted to other members of the Shu family while the rest were to be stored in the Treasury Hall.

Before long, the Mo Clan first team decided to start moving back to the wasteland's exit to make sure they would be able to get out before the portal closes.

**************

Back in 'The Hunters' Plateau,' more and more teams, groups and pairs started appearing. Some suffered losses with team members unable to survive inside--there were some who were killed by beasts while many were killed by fellow participants.

Such was the nature of the event.

But as reminded by the Purple Mist Sect headmaster, no one would be blamed for any deaths--weather through accident or otherwise. So the clans and families who suffered losses simply buried their grudges and thought that there would definitely be opportunity in the future to get their revenge.

All those who returned from the wasteland remitted to the Purple Mist Sect elders the ten percent of the harvest as part of the deal.

In the end, it was the sect who truly gained a lot--but that was understandable since it was through their efforts in the first place that the cultivators had the opportunity to get inside the Desolate Wasteland.

A day later, six silhouttes appeared from the portal. They were the Mo Clan members of Mo Shui, Hao Ren, and Lin Qiao together with Shu Liang and Qai of the Shu family with the black tiger Shandian.

The six of them went straight to 'The Hunters' Plateau' where everyone was gathered.

The plateau was once again lively after weeks of waiting for the participants. The trading square was again filled with transactions--but this time items from the wasteland were part of the circulation.

"Look, its the Mo Clan's team," one of the expectators yelled.

The six were beaming with confidence as they approach the surface of the plateau.

And when they arrived, many were filled with expectations easpecially elders of the Mo Clan and members of the Shu family including the sect headmaster.

"Ho ho," the sect headmaster chuckled.

"Let's see what these kids have for us."
